The Romance Book Disciple (Samantha)

Echo is the 7th book in the Linear Tactical series, which doesn't seem possible, but gives us the story of single mom Peyton and superstar Cade. This is a second chance romance and Crouch doesn't let miscommunications get in the way. I appreciated the maturity Peyton showed in not hiding information. While the initial issue between these two was due to miscommunication, they were young an immature when it occurred and now that they are older, its handled in a more mature manner. I appreciated

I adore second chance romances, and Cade and Peyton’s story checked all my requirements! There was young love and misunderstandings, however, rather than draw out a secret that would have caused issues later on (thank you, Janie!), I was thrilled when Peyton came clean with Cade early on, thus allowing an actual relationship to develop without hinderance. It made a powerful, emotional impact that had me devouring Echo well in to the night!

I received an arc and this is my honest review.

I love this book. Cade & Payton’s relationship is not without its challenges. Little Jess is aiming to be “Empress of the Elementary School” & is very funny . The scenes with her & Ethan made me laugh they are precious. Cade manages to gain back Peyton’s trust and they form a couple, the course of true love runs smoothly until let’s call it a hiccup ( sorry 2 hiccups) test their strength & trust in each other.

Ethan gets a special mention as his conversation with Cade was pure

I was really looking forward to reading Peyton's story, and I wasn't disappointed! Cade and Peyton, had a baby girl Jess almost 5 years ago, Cade doesn't know Jess is his daughter, and Peyton believes Cade discarded both her and Jess. Cade's aunt thought she was protecting him by not telling him about Peyton's pregnancy and poor Peyton has been living a life of secrets. After her step father nearly ended her life and having a premature baby, Peyton has worked so hard to give Jess a good life. ...more

An ardent and adorable love story, with a touch a danger and violence that within an eyeblink sends chills down your spine... The story swept me away with the potent feels, it had me smiling and in tears, its focus is on the endearing second chance romance, that hit all the spots of young love between a rich boy and a poor, abused girl that ends with misunderstandings, a secret baby, and meddling family... After a detailed, long prologue by both of the main characters' points of view, the story ...more

This is the 7th book of the Linear Tactical series. This is a standalone book, but better enjoyed if you've read the series as Peyton and little Jess are featured throughout the series. Peyton, the single, hardworking mom who works three jobs to make sure her daughter has everything she needs. She's part of the LT family and Finn's son, Ethan, and Jess are the best of buddies. Cade, the superstar country singer, who also happens to be a multimillionaire and a silent partner in LT.

Echo by Janie Crouch is 7th book in the Linear Tactical series, which gives the readers the 2nd chance romance story of country superstar Cade and single mother Peyton.
Peyton has been featured throughout the series working 3 jobs to take care of her 5 year old cutie, Jess. She's part of the LT family and Finn's son, Ethan, and her daughter , Jess are the best of friends. Peyton has a past with that is 5 years old. I have to honestly say the Linear Tactical series is one of my favorites and I am always anxiously waiting to devour the next book. Echo definitely did not disappoint! In this 7th book, we get Peyton and Cade’s story and it is filled with so many emotions, suspense that gets your heart pumping, amazing secondary characters and a fantastic happily ever after.

Peyton was an amazing heroine, she endured so much in her life and then to see a little bit of happiness for her and then to get it taken

Every time I read a book by Janie Crouch, it becomes my new favorite. Because every book in each series she writes is better than the previous one! I've loved the Linear Tactical series, and I've been anxiously waiting to read Peyton's story. And it definitely surpassed every expectation that I had. Jess has been one of my favorite characters in this series, and getting to see her through her dad's eyes, after he first learns about her, is heartwarming (& laughter inducing). I loved ...more

I've been wanting to know what the deal was with Cade and Peyton and why she hated his guts. You could just tell there was a great story behind it and I was so eager to start reading.
The reason why they lost touch was heartbreaking but as they start to repair their relationship, the love they felt for each other resurfaces and we get to see Peyton and her beautiful little girl get the HEA they deserved.

This was a great read about second chance at love or maybe better word is at life. I've been
I liked that we got the story of Peyton and her past, I was on the fence with Cade and his part, even when we learned he didn’t really know what happened. It was only when Peyton got to read his “questions” that I was won over by him. By the end of the book I liked the family that they made, even the older generation.

Best one so far.

Cade and Peyton was a wonderful addition to this series. This story is loving story full of suspense, honor, finally trust.
I loved this book. The series gets better with each installment. Peyton has been a character hovering in the background during the earlier books, with her adorable daughter Jess getting far more page time. I had a feeling that Peyton's story would be an interesting one when it was her turn, and I was right.

Peyton and Cade knew each other in high school when she was a freshman, and he was a senior. Both were involved in the high school's arts program, Cade on the music side, and Peyton on the

Peyton and Cade’s Story Resonates A Love That Only Two Kindred Spirits Are Able To Sustain.

This passionate, heartwarming story draws out all the “feels.” Following the completion of the book I like to read an author’s acknowledgement. Ms. Crouch references a song entitled “Unbreak My Heart” and thought about Peyton and Cade’s story. There are no better words to describe the turbulent journey these two lovable characters ventured on in order to reach there ultimate goal....... a HEA!

I don't even know where to begin with my review but I will sum it up as WOW. I have read every Linear book and each one I read becomes my new favorite. This is no exception. One characters from the other book appear here and there in Echo this book is a true standalone. I mean not only in the way you don't need to read the other books to understand this one, because you do not. What I mean with Echo is that the book has a different feel to me than the others. It's more emotional, raw. You ...more

Every time I think I have a favorite couple in this series, Janie Crouch gives me another to rival the last. So, I'm just going to say that I love all the couples in the Linear Tactical series, this one included. Cade and Peyton have history, maybe even more history than Cade's aware of. As I read Cade and Peyton's story, one phrase kept coming to mind - star crossed lovers. Of course, I won't go into how far the whole star crossed thing may have gone (no spoilers here). As for the romance, Cade ...more

Echo by Janie Crouch

I don’t like to give stories away with the reviews that I write but let me just tell you how amazing this story is! There are some parts in this book that I can’t stop thinking about. When a book moves you to think about family members or friends in a new or different way it has done a wonderful thing.

Echo- Linear Tactical romance

This is another amazing addition to the Linear Tactical Romance series with Cade, a talented musician and benefactor to the Linear Techical facilities, reconnecting with the love of his life Peyton. Five years ago they connected at his families vacation house the night before he was to leave to go to Nashville. He thought she had gone to film school in London when she did not return his emails. As it turns out their one night together resulted in an unp!anned

5* ARC Review – Another Great Linear Tactical Story

I received this ARC directly from the author in exchange for my review. As part of her ARC group, I am a huge fan of this author and adore the Linear Tactical series. I have gotten to a point with these books that besides being anxious for the next story, they are like coming home. The group of friends and significant others of the Linear Tactical team has created this family that all look out for each other and help when they need them.

This was a good solid story with good main characters and supporting cast of people. It was interesting to see that Cade had been the behind-the-scenes money guy that helped get it up and running.
I liked that the reader got both points of view. Although in the beginning I was a little thrown when it opened up with a play by play first with one and they another play by play by the other. I generally don't like that and was hoping that the whole book wasn't like that. I had my fingers crossed and

Another great book in the Linear Tactical series!

First I have to say how precious Ethan and Jess are in this book! They will totally steal your heart. Ethan’s ‘man-to-man’ talk with Cade was the best! Now, as for the story…this one is a bit different than the others in the series. It does have appearances from the LT guys and their gals and it is full of edge-of-your-seat suspense, action, some laughs, a few dangerous situations with shocking twists and turns, a shenanigan or two, and smexy

Holy smokes this author does it again with another page turning read that had me glued to the seat. Peyton is a single mom and works for Linear, cleaning their offices part time. Her four year old daughter Jess, has captured the hearts of everyone at Linear and is one smart cookie. She doesn’t know her dad and Peyton doesn’t want her dad, Cade, to know about her. Cade a country singing star and has returned home after many years and actually runs into Peyton, the only woman he has ever loved but ...more

This seventh addition to this series has a solid, engaging plot with complex characters in the form of Peyton Ward and Cade O’Conner.
Peyton and Cade met in HS . Their artistic talents bonded them. But their backgrounds were totally different. Peyton lived in an abusive home , and Cade was born into wealth.
A few years later, before Peyton was due to leave for London to attend filming school, a night of passion changed the life of Peyton in more ways than not, while Cade believed he had been

I have been waiting for Cade's story and Echo did not disappoint. It's my favourite of all the Linear Tactical books. And that's saying something because all the books in this series are so good. Peyton is a single mom working 3 jobs to give her daughter, Jess, a good life. As a financial backer, Cade wasn't one of the Linear Tactical team but he did have skills to protect himself and Peyton. It's a good thing, too, because he needed them. He grew up with money and now that he's a music ...more

I absolutely loved this story!! We have seen Peyton from the beginning of this series. She has been somewhat on the fringes of Linear Tactical for years. Her daughter, Jess, is best friends with Ethan, who is Finn's son. Ethan and Jess are just absolutely precious together. Cade has been mentioned in previous books as well. This is a standalone read though. We get to know Peyton and Cade throughout this book and they are wonderful. Peyton has been working hard for years to give her daughter ...more

This is a fantastic story (which I knew would be the case having read many of Janie Crouch's books). It is about a country music singer named Cade who slept with his 18 year old love (Peyton) and then a horrible event took place. Peyton had become pregnant and Cade's aunt, wanting to protect Cade from someone she thought was lying to a famous singer about being pregnant, gave her fraudulent papers that seemed to be from Cade offering Peyton $10,000 to abort the baby and sign a NDA that she would ...more

Peyton’s is the story I think I’ve been dying for since the beginning. Cade is just pretty much perfect, even though he’s not a hero in uniform, which was a bit of a departure for the series. Also different in this book, is that the intrigue and danger are more secondary to the story of Peyton and Cade finding their way back together after so many miscommunications and misunderstandings. Somehow, as much as I loved Peyton in all those previous books, in her own she frustrated the living ...more

Echo is the seventh book in the Linear Tactical series, but could be read as a stand alone. Peyton and Cade have a history together, but after five long years, Cade is determined to win her back! But will she be able to forgive him his past mistakes, and can he keep her safe when danger stalks her?

You know those books when you get so caught up in the storyline and characters that the next thing you know, it’s way past your bedtime? Yeah, that was this book for me! Gosh, it was so good, I was
