Now I have to look at her every day.
The girl next door. A human. A hot little nerd.

AHHH! Anyone who knows me knows that Bully Romance is my jam. But coupled with Renee Rose's paranormal shifter goodness. GOOD LORD - what a combination. I FLOVED this story. It was uber sexy, swoony and had such a strong and sassy heroine. I loved Cole and Bailey so much!

I have been a fan of Renee Rose's Alpha Bad Boy shifter series for a while but when I saw she was writing a shifter bully story I could not jump on this story fast enough! OMG was this story hot. Cole was so addicting! I sat up

Bailey is the new girl in town, and to say she doesn't fit in at her new school would be an understatement. Wolf Ridge residents don't like outsiders, and from day one, her fellow classmates treat her like a piece of barely visible, unwanted trash. Well, most of them do anyway.

Cole Muchmore, a popular football player at Wolf Ridge High, takes a special interest in Bailey. He enjoys tormenting her every chance he gets, and unfortunately for her, he's also her next door neighbor. Cole isn't the o

This is definitely one of those “it gets better after you read more” books. Even saying that, there wasn’t really anything spectacular about it. We have the typical heroine and asshole guy who eventually fall in love. I thought we would get something different since there was a paranormal spin on it, but not really.

The reason I’m giving this 3 stars is because I’m a sucker for smut and the scenes here quite steamy.

This book was so delicious. It reminded me if my years in high school with the different social groups so much, except I don't think we had wolf shifters.
Cole and Bailey are 2 characters who define opposites attract. They are the most unlikely couple because first of all Cole hates her for reasons she can't understand and secondly the whole wolf shifter thing.
Renee Rose's books are always entertaining and fun to read. Her characters have depth and real emotions and problems.

It was only recently that I discovered a fondness for bully romances. I know they turn off a lot of people, but let me explain why I like books like this one. Cole comes across as a true alpha-hole, totally unredeemable. Until you get to know him, understand why he’s acting that way toward Bailey. Not that I condone bullying at any point, because I don’t. However, getting a look at what’s going on in his life off page so to speak, makes him seem more approachable as the hero of a romance. I like ...more

Only Renee Rose can sweet talk me into trying a bully romance. Even with that, I reserve the right to DNF this if it gets too bully-ish.

I can't get with the bully romance idea because - just on GP (General Principle) - treating me like shit guarantees you do not get the pussy. It's an automatic reaction. Asshole ≠ Pussy.

So, let's see what Ms Rose has cooking for us today.

Why am I reading this? Because Renee Rose.
Why would I [normally] NOT read this? I have a bunch of reasons to av

First of all i love shifter books, and I love books about alpha bullies as well. And this one i knew that I was not going to like Cole, he was a total
Bailey just moved in next door to Cole and his family. However she didn't understand why no one liked her, why she was being ostrasized by everyone. Until she learned that her mother 'stole' her next door neighbour's job. And even though she is hurt by the fact that Cole and his friends are making her life hell, she also can't deny tha

This was a pretty good book. The thing is, Renee Rose is known for her more erotic books, While this is a YA Paranormal Bully book, it's erotic. So not suitable for kids under 18, sorry about it. I did really love the story, and even when I wasn't reading I was thinking about this book. There is nothing complicated about this book, the author leaves it all out there for you to read.
There is angst, as any good bully high school book has, I mean...really it's the bread and butter of the genre. Thi

I'm wondering “how do I put into words what I just went through?” I spent the first half of the book not really sure if I was going to be able to get past the ‘bully’ aspect. I don’t like bullies. Especially in a young or new adult setting, they take me back to memories I’d prefer to leave buried. But the story and writing are so compelling I couldn't stop reading once I started. This book took me to places I wouldn’t have gone willingly if I’d been paying attention to the warning signs – it pus ...more

Sometimes it’s hard starting over in a new place, at a new school, especially when everyone ignores you and treats you like a pariah. Led by the head “alpha hole” of the school, Bailey feels like an outcast, tormented and not sure why. Cole, feels like taking his anger out on her, even though underneath he feels more than anger. When he steps in and protects her in a bad situation, things start changing with them. It’s slow at first, but it’s also intense. They were made for each other and you w ...more

I'm just wondering why with all this five star HONEST reviews we have ZERO details of the story.
No spoilers, no details whatsoever.

What a pleasant surprise. Bully romance seems to be the new sub-genre these days but this one takes it to a different area because it is more than just that it is also a shifter romance. It made for a new experience because it is not something that I had read before. This author wrote one of my favorite shifter romance series and I was glad that she had ventured into this because she was meshing the two worlds.

Fantastic steamy times, characters, and also leaving open to start a new seri

Bailey is the new girl in town. New house, new school and all new people. Unfortunately for her she moved right next door to Cole who of course just happens to be super hot but also seems to loathe her for no reason at all or at least not one that she knows of. Oh and he also is the King or maybe we should call him the Alpha of Wolf Ridge High and so his word is law and what is his new law you ask? For ev

I loved this bully romance with a shifter twist. I thought that this was a simply terrific book and a supurb start to this new series. This book focuses on Bailey and Cole's story and it very quickly pulled me in with its complex characters an intense emotions. Baily was such a lovable character and my heart hurt for her. She was unique, spunky, smart, kind, sweet and stronger than she believed. Cole was a real jerk and a grade A alpha-hole but he also had layers and once you got the full pictur ...more

This book…was so good!!!! I really loved this story! It was grit and mean and passionate, dirty and sassy and had heart. It was steamy and realistic and still fable like. It has amazing characters and a great plot and wonderful dialogue. It has hot scenes, heartbreak, redemption, lust, love and everything in-between.

The main character are so rich in detail and angst that I felt like I was there with them. I felt their hurt, their lust, their redemption. I was connected and totally invested.

I'll admit it, I'm a Renee Rose fan and she's one of my one-click authors. So this "Alpha Bully" title in a High School series had me a bit apprehensive. You know, I've far surpassed the age of high school romances being my thing, but being a loyal fan I wanted to at least give it a shot and I'm so glad I did. She gave us HOT shifters, a vulnerable human, tragedy, angst, lies, secrets, and a HOT chemistry that ran throughout the book and just kept building. This is definitely not your average H ...more

This story could easily have gone sideways quickly.
In today's climate bullying touches a raw nerve for most people. Even in fictitious circumstances.
Ms Rose walks a fine line between acceptance and condemnation of the actions and reactions of the two main characters, taking us back into their history to explain how they got to where they are.
Although this book is set in a fantasy environment, the basics of the story can easily be transposed into real life.
Add to that Ms Rose' trademark love scen

This is one of the best bully romance story I have read this year. I love Bailey a young girl trying to make it through a new town in school. And then we meet Cole alpha bully who wants to make bailey life miserable. But even bullies can be redeemed and fates can change. I really enjoyed this book I couldn't put it down the story plot was written well and I am so invested in these characters and I am hoping that some of the secondary characters get there story told. A definite must read. Renee Rose is one of my favorite authors, and her shifter books are fantastic. I generally do not go for the younger, coming of age books but was glad I took the chance. Really shouldn’t have been concerned based on this author’s talents. In fact, this book while tying into her Alpha series had a totally different feel in that it was more emotionally driven with the storyline providing the perfect backdrop to the angst and tension with a healthy dose of filthy sizzle to hea ...more

I'm not a fan of high school feels creepy since they could be my kids. BUT this book! I love Renee's shifter books, and this one was different from anything she has written. It was a steamy, well-written book. I hope Rayne gets a book soon...with one of the alpha-holes!

My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.

Loved Bailey! She'd gone through so much but never gave up. Cole was such an interesting character. He's immediately attracted to her but blames her for his current situation. Bully romances can be difficult to find the right balance but he never went over the line. I enjoyed their story.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Why is this being romanticized or any book with bullying for that matter?
Do you think bullying is romantic when there’s kids committing suicide because they are being bullied every day?
Are you that sick?

This book is a Bully Romance, but not in the traditional sense as it is also a Shifter Romance. I really enjoyed the storyline and the Sexy Times were very hot! Cole and Bailey have a complex and angst filled dynamic that plays out well on the page. A Great, Quick Read! 3.5 Stars!
