I thought The night he saved me was a good read that had a lot of heart but at times I couldn't really connect with what was going on . This would be the first book that I've read by Sarah Stevens and I want to read more by her in the future .

This standalone was way over the top, way too cheesy and way too dramatic. I'm surprised my eyes still function after all that eye-rolling!
I'm pretty sure this is the first book I've read in which the prologue had no function whatsoever. We learn a couple things about Kat's past but those are never picked up again. So why bother with a prologue at all?

I’ll be honest readers, I cry a lot at books, but I found myself truly welling up a lot at this book. It was truly emotionally charging, but I’ve always loved a good cry. Not only did I cry though, I was hooked from chapter 1!

O.M.G!! I don't know what to say. So I loved the story of Kat and James so much!!! There were so many twists and turns, I actually gasped out loud at one point, cause it came from nowhere, and I love books like that!!

This is the first book I read from Sarah... it kept me intrigued at all times and definitely wanting more... James has wanted Kat from the moment he laid eyes on her but he knew she was not ready for him... Amazing story about a girl named Katarina. The book starts of with Katarina in high school. Stress out about her studies she ends up going to a party that changes her life. James one look and he wants Katarina and will do anything to keep her safe. But what if he is the problem? Lots of heartache and intense situations but love conquers all. A good Ya read. I can’t wait to read about Bren’s story next 4/5 stars

This was an interesting read for me, parts I loved and parts I did not enjoy and considering it was the author's first book you need to give it a go, it touches on some pretty emotional subjects. We get both POV from the two central characters and also some chapters go over the same points in time to explain the other characters perspective, I must say some of these worked for me and others not so much.

Oh the feels while reading this story. Kat's world turns upside down one night while her and Bren are out. James has seen Kat a few times now and from the moment he seen her, she was under his skin. Love at first sight is how to best describe this from James' side.

It was a good read. It did have some mature themes in it which startled me at first. Very engaging story and characters.
This is the first book that I have read by Sarah Stevens and I was truly impressed!!! Sarah definitely has a unique way of writing!!!

This was a really sweet story! I read this for an honest review and I wasn't disappointed. I loved the character development of Kat. At the beginning of the book she was a very immature high schooler but due to a tragic event she grew up very quickly.
James was really sweet. I love how he just instantly knew that he wanted Kat. He was so protective and loving.
I loved this book and would definitely recommend this. I look forward to more books from this author!

Okay, super good read, but it was a bit to fast for me to completely love it.

Wow! I was not prepared for this book! WOW!! Such an amazing read! Sarah Stevens did an amazing job with her debut novel. The Night He Saved Me was aa little darker and grittier than I normally like, but it was amazing! I could not put this book down!
