3.5 stars! What a great start to new series by debut author Savvi V! Intriguing, suspenseful and sexy, Savvi has given readers a fresh and unique look at the behind the scenes of a gentlemen's club run by a strong heroine and protected by a tough mafia guy hellbent on denying his true feelings.
I was captivated by the storyline and finding answers but wished for more suspense with the mafia background. It was definitely intriguing but I wanted more.
I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

A sensual, page-turner that kept me guessing until the end. Readers will fall in love with the mysterious and captivating Gideon Kane. A must read!

This is the first book I had read by the author Savvi V and I hope to read many more. This is an immense pleasure that I am reviewing this book.
The story is about a girl Charli Vaughn, who is the owner of the cameo Gentlemen's club which was previously run by her Grandmother and her mother who died in a car accident just six months ago. The Club is not just a simple club but it is the business for the Biggest mob who is ruled by Gideon Kane as it provides security to the Girls of the clubs.
Though the club is in the protection of the biggest mob still there was someone who is trying to kill the girls of the cameo's club. This is not something which is to be taken for granted from both Gideon as well as Charli. Knowing they had a full love, passionate history, they still work together and try to find the guy who is behind the murders of these girls.
But what will happen when the past Chemistry again become the problem for both which either of them not wanted. What will happen that one of the Girls who was murdered was one of the Charli best friends? What will happen when Charli came to know that her Mother and Grandmother not just died in the accident but It was a pre-planned murder?
Okay, so the story, the plot was unique and kinda refreshing. The best thing I like about the book is that Our girl Charli is Savage, stubborn and what not and I like that there was only a one-man who was able to tame her. The past story about the characters was something which I loved. The Chemistry in the Book was like they were burning up my kindle like sizzling hot. Yups, That amazing!
The author did an amazing job but Being a Mob's story I did want to read some action in the book but there was none which gave me a little bit of disappointment and I think that the book ending was kinda obvious. Though there were some unexpected turns in the story still, It was like I already guessed the end beforehand. I personally think, that book being a murder mystery, there was a lack of suspense and thriller in the book. Though the author ended the book at the happy note there was still the mystery unsolved that who was behind all those murders Because let me remind you that this is just part one. Many more still have to come. Moreover, according to me, the book was kinda novella rather than the novel.
In the end, I would just like to conclude that the book has a really good, Smoking romance but due to the murder mystery and mob thing I was expecting some things which this book didn't have.
If you want to read a sexy Contemporary romance with some new storyline then this book is perfect for you.

This was short and sweet. I would also call it light mafia book. There’s not a lot of mafia, it mainly focuses on the characters. I would give it 3.5 stars. It’s more of a second chance romance with some danger. Charli and Gideon have history and the way things ended was not okay for me. A decade has come to pass and those feelings are are still strong for both characters. They have burning chemistry and the sex was hot albeit careless. I do have to say there were some twists I didn’t see and then there were some pieces that felt a bit expected. I also felt like Charli’s twist was a bit forced and planed. It didn’t need to be because it was obvious how deeply Gideon still cared for her. I felt the ending was rushed I was hoping for more of them. This is book one and I definitely loved the vibe JD is giving off, I’m excited for his story. I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

This book was so addicting, I didn't want it to end!! I want more of Gideon and Charli and to find out who's killing people close to Charli!!! I was sucked into a world of characters that despite what they do, they are full of love for each other. Charli had her whole world taken from her and is know thrown into a world she wasn't expecting to do. Her and Gideon have a history, a love that they thought was gonna last forever but it got taken away. They are thrown together after a tragedy happens. This is when things get good. They fight the attraction but can't help but to lean on each other during the sad time. Gideon wants to protect her at all costs and that includes taking matters into his own hands. I am so excited for JD and Brady's story and secretly hoping that Gideon and Charli are in it as well! This was my first book by this author and I'M HOOKED!!!

DNF’ed 15%. Pretty sure I know who the killer is already. There is just something about this that isn’t or wasn’t my jam. Might have been the murder/mystery angle of the storyline, it isn’t my usual go to subcat in romance. It may just be I’m not in the mood for this. Nothing I read changed my feelings on leaving this read. This had the makings of an interesting story, it failed me.
If all this authors stories are like this this may not be an author for me.
Update- I skipped book 2. Went to book 3 to confirm my suspicions on the killer and I was right. Three books to get there? Kind of a drag. Fyi in book 3 I think I started with Chapter 16 and finished it from there. Didn’t feel like I missed much that I should’ve cared about. Still didn’t compel me to read anymore than I already have. I honestly didn’t care about any of the characters enough.
If all this authors stories are like this this may not be an author for me.

Gideon and Charli have a past, one that they both have put behind them and now they tolerate each other. When tragedy happens they must come together. Will they get the HEA.
This was a fast paced, angst ridden, steamy read. It will keep you reading as they try to find the murderer. There is suspense but the story focuses on Gideon and Charli, their past and future.
Great characters that will have you wanting more. This story does finish with Charli and Gideons relationship but not the mastery portion.

So far, so good.
Just finished the first book of three. It is a far cry from Sharla Lovelace's usual fare, more what I would have expected from Alessandra Torre. Having said that I really enjoyed it. Liked the characters and the plot pulled me in nicely and kept me hooked to the end. The cliff hanger at the end wasn't too traumatic but I'm looking forward to second round.

HOLY HELL DID I READ IT RIGHT?! Is My Madame really Savvi V's first book, because I'm shocked, truly shocked! This author totally gripped me in her talented & addictive grip, and I NEED MORE NOW! Let me see if I can set the stage without giving too much away. The main players are Charlie (reluctant owner of Cameo & the Madame in this case), and then there's Gideon Kane (head of the Kane crime family that he gave up everything for). These two are each other's lobsters if you will, but Gideon completely decimated her heart when he dumped her in their younger years, as he did it in the worst way possible. His family is still in charge of security at her family's business that fell to her when she lost said family, but what brought them back face to face was a psycho, who killed one of her closest friends/girls in a very brutal way, coming out of left field. No one knows how this got past the Kane family, but unfortunately, whoever had started this sinister game, clearly is very good, and I have to wonder if it's someone close to either of them. So, while chemistry is raging out of control again, which leads to super sexy times that are lighting the sky on fire, the psycho isn't finished after they find another body of one of her girls. And with these twists coming out of nowhere (since they have no clue who is doing it and/or why), no one knows who the killer is targeting for sure. Now, while Gideon is done being away from Charlie, and actually gives her an explanation finally, will she be able to forgive him in order for them to have a second chance? AND, who is the psycho brutally killing the girls?! Well, Ms. V. completely set up the mystery/suspense factor to keep on keeping on to the next book, so I'm dying a little inside now, as she teased us with the next couple. All that's left for me to say now, is dear lawd, one click this awesome story NOW NOW NOW, as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

I was able to read an advanced review copy of My Madame by the new author Savvi V and if you are a fan of Mafia romance this is a must read author! It is basically a very gritty and updated version of Romeo and Juliet with a very different ending! Charli Vaughn has inherited Cameo after the accidental death of her grandmother and mother. It is an upscale Vegas gentlemen's club that is discreet and serves the elite. She never wanted to be in this business but life had other plans for her. Cameo's security and liquor is handled by Kane Enterprises and the man in charge is none other than Gideon Kane, Charli's young love. That was over a decade ago and he is no longer that starry eyed young man but a ruthless mob boss that has been shaped by a decade of involvement in the family's organization. He is Mr. F**king Kane and no one dares to get on his wrong side. Now someone has, they have murdered two of Charli's dancers and the deaths are very personal. Gideon has always had one priority...keep Charli safe at all costs. This is a gritty, hot story of love and sacrifice. It will end on a HFN and is told from dual POV. I am looking forward to reading My Songbird next and I recommend reading this to all romantic suspense and mafia romance fans.

Holy Moly, this book was hot! This is the story of Gideon Kane and Charli Vaughn and boy is it a page turner. Charli works for a Gentleman’s club as the Madame, looking after her girls; staff and ensuring their safety and that people have fun in her high-class environment. To keep everyone safe she and the club are protected by none other than Gideon Kane…mafia, tough guy who is trying to keep track of his empire whilst keep Charli safe. The only problem is that these two have a history and sometimes it comes back to bite you in the ass!
This was a fast paced read for me, but you manage to get all the feels for the two characters and their relationship which is pretty intense. Secrets, lies, ultimatums make up this whole book as well as sadness for the past and a future that may or may not be.
Savvi V. draws you into this sensual page-turner, which leaves you wanting to know more about the characters that are in the book as well as leaving you with a cliff-hanger which looks to continue throughout the series. Wow, this book was recommended to me by a friend and I'm glad I took a chance. This was more of a second chance/mystery than a truly dark book. Charli is the reluctant madam of one of Vegas's elite gentleman clubs. Gideon, king of the Kane mob and Charli's former lover provides security for her club, but when girls start getting killed Gideon has to decide if family loyalty is more important than love. I will say this does end with a HEA for Charli and Gideon but a cliffhanger on the mystery. I can't wait to read the next book in the series and see how this story plays out.

I usually don't read mafia books but this one just caught my attention. I really really enjoyed it. This book sucks you in and doesn't let go. Charli was kind just handed the club and had no choice but to run it. But coming back into contact with Gideon just hurt her. Gideon just wanted to protect Charli and the club. These two together was explosive. So much chemistry and love. The mystery behind who is killing the girls is kinda terrifying. But it has me so hooked. Can't wait for the next book!

An intriguing story of two people from different worlds who were together many years ago, but had gone their separate ways. Their lives intertwined again in their respective lines of business. They had to come together to protect both of their livelihoods. Could they keep their business lives separate from their personal lives? Read this story to find out. There were a lot of things that took me by surprise, keeping me engrossed in this book until the end.

A good debut novel that had me asking myself several times what was going on. Charli and Gideon have history and it makes it difficult to work together. Gideon is definitely a alpha male and Charli balks at it. Charli has alot going on though and her friends and employees keep ending up dead brutally. These two are a hot mess and fight like cats and dogs and it makes you wonder if they will ever change. Still not sure about the ending but I was glad to see JD was getting a book.

This was my first book from this author and it won't be the last. Actually this migth be Savvi V. first book but it didn't seem like it. I really liked this book and chracters were interesting. And I didn't see that one thing coming. I had some other ideas but I was wrong. Can't wait for next book because I wanna know who is doing all that stuff.

More than just a mafia story, this book has just about everything; second romance, mafia family, danger, betrayal and murder. An exciting read that will keep you on your toes and guessing. I really liked Charli and Gideon's tug of war regarding their still existing chemistry, despite their rocky past. Well written, gritty and steamy. I'm ready for more in this Cameo Gentlemen's Club series.

This is a great start to this series. Charli now has to overcome the deaths of the females in her family to take care of business. But with a murderer out there, her old lover steps in to protect the club. Old feelings along with new found truths, cause further heartache for the couple.

A sexy and surprisingly second-chance romantic romance between a Las Vegas mob boss and a madame. Several plot twists caught me by surprise, which is hard to do these days. I can't wait for the next book in the series!
