Dav Pilkey idk who you are but when I was younger and reading these books, I just knew I would have a crush on you if I knew what you looked like and I still believe that.
Killer book as always brother. I remember being nervous to write in the book so I pretty much just did the flip-o-ramas over and over, but still a big diva moment in my life

Haven't thought about this book in ages, it was SO fun! I remember drawing a lot of flip comics from instructions in this. I bought this off the scholastic school catalogue and it came with a hypno ring that I STILL have, haha! Such a fun kids' series!

So this book actually had a lot more of the original charm and humour the series had than the more recent books even though it's just a gag book. It has jokes, some basic puzzles, stickers and some drawing guides. Great for kids that love the books but not great for adults going back and looking to read some childhood favourites. There's not much story here, though there is some and there is a captain underpants comic in here as well.

Goodreads lists it as Captain Underpants 13 but it is absolutely not that, it was published in 2001 and is not a complete story.

I liked George and Harold's College o' Art

This book is filled with lots of different things. It has comics, puzzles, jokes, it teaches you have to draw things, and do word searches. One of the comics teaches you a fun prank. There's a crossword puzzle. It has a section like a mad lib where you add in words to finish the story.
I think these types of books are great for kids especially if they don't typically enjoy reading. It will keep you entertained the entire time by doing different activities. Everything in it is very easy to follow. It also gives you all the answers in the back of the book for the various activities. This book will not just keep them entertained while they are reading it but it will teach them activities that they can do anytime. Like work on drawing or make a flip book. I would have liked this when I was a kid because it's not just your typical book. Parents can even enjoy reading it with their kids and doing the activities with them. There are a lot of these books so if you like this one then there are plenty more to keep you reading. I think these will really open the door to reading for kids and it will help them continue to be readers.
There aren't a lot of peritexual elements. The front and back are in color but the rest is black and white. There are no end pages. There is a title page with a lot of pictures. There is a dedication page that also includes all of the copyright information. Then the book begins. I would highly recommend this book for anyone to read.

The Captain Underpants Extra-crunchy Book o Fun by Dav pilkey. The points of the book I have been impacted by was on page thirty one when one of the boys seas that” the more you practice the better you’ll get!”. This affected me because that is what my great uncle always said to me before he died.

The parts of the book that i liked the most when the two boy’s got into trouble by the principal and got detention for making an inappropriate article. The parts in the book that would affect the reader the most are all the activities along the middle of the book. This book can be confusing at times.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes action and comedy, because the book is very funny and filled with adventures. The book can be confusing at times and it was to easy t read. The activities can put you off balance.

I thought that one of my main character( captain underpants ) is great because he only uses the force of the wegie power and only uses it for the forse of evil! and thats why i recommend this book a great one.

My 9-year-old got this for his birthday, and this is his rating and what he had to say about it.

"I thought it was really awesome. The book had a ton of flip-o-rama's, a great comic book at the end. Also, George and Harold taught me how to make flip-o-rama's and how to make comic books. George and Harold called it 'The George and Harold College O'Art.' There were also mazes. But my favorite part of this book is the prank by George and Harold."

I loved it.

Captain Underpants series is my little cousin's favorite. I only bought one, and my counsin loves it so she starts collecting them. This book is hers so I only borrow it.

This book is so funny. I love the illustrations as well, Dav Pilkey's so funnily smart. I liked it.

But I don't think this one's my favorite. :)

Fans of the Captain Underpants series will no doubt like this more than I did. There are puzzles and games and hints on how to draw comics in this little book. It's a fast read and I think the die-hard Captain Underpants fans will love it.

This was a very fun book but it's better to purchase a copy instead of borrow from the library which we did. I plan to purchase this book and the extra crunchy part 2 book as well because there are activities in there that make it a book we wouldn't want to have to take back.

Lots of fun in this activity book. How to draw characters, create comic books, and create flip-o-ramas! Plus, I loved the comic of "Hairy Potty." You could also send in a letter to receive a "PHD" from George and Harold's College of Art! I still have mine on my bulletin board :)
