A freaky book all about weirdness!

Ben Hillman, author of the dynamic and eye-catching How Big Is It series, now explores HOW WEIRD IS IT? Just how weird is a mushroom, a toad, or a Neanderthal? With full-color photographs that make you say, "Wow!" Ben Hillman is king of comparison making.

Swimming in comets, being a neanderthal, anglerfish in love and superposition are just a few of the weird things this book investigates. I personally was intrigued by the green Martian people on the cover (we apparently might be descendants of the life forms found in martian meteorites?) Its a fun quick read, but the lack of references to additional resources severely hampers the usefulness of this book. I would have like to have seen fewer full spread photographs and more actual information.

This book is a compilation of strange things that happen around the world. This is a great book for students interested in crazy happenings and off the wall possibilities. The text provides many interesting faces for random topics from martians to dark energy to superposition. If you are interested in short blurbs about strange things in the world, this book is for you!
