I’ve been through hell to get to this place. To wear the perfect white dress and stand beside Royce Hale, the liar I tried desperately not to fall in love with and failed.

Or maybe I’m still trapped in hell because the devil is here too. He lurks at my side, plotting terrible ways to make me his.

It’s win at all costs in this family, and I know now ju

Misfortune had brought me into the family, and now tragedy bound us together forever.

Nikki Sloane wrapped the Filthy Rich Americans series up with a shiny red sinful bow. Saying that this series is easy to read, would be a lie. It’s a page turner and will have you flipping full speed, but this series will also make you squirm with anxiety, with discomfort, and because it gets beyond hot and steamy. The pages are still woven with deceit, lies, and a battle for power, but there is also a love sto

Between the fucking prologue and the what am i reading right now ending ... *blink* so yeah, that happened!

This trilogy was genuinely unexpected at every turn. The blatant manipulation of the plot was awe-inspiring. I have never been so incredibly captivated by every word in a journey. I didn’t want to miss a thing. My mind was in constant overload. It was glorious and exhausting and worth every minute of my time. I saw nothing coming around any corner. I know what I wanted to happen but I had no clue if it would

Damn.

Nikki Sloane's wicked mind is one of my favorite places to visit! Not only does Nikki give us a taboo love story, she also gives us lies, deceit and mythology all within the pages of this trilogy.

As a mythology geek (and proud of it), I was enraptured from the beginning of how each character was portrayed and compared to their mythological god/goddess counterpart. It provides a completely different layer and all-new depth to their characters.

The fact that you can ne

After the first two books where I got surprized continually by the wicked games of manipulation, I was more than eager to get my hands on the conclusion of the Filthy Rich Americans Trilogy. The Deception was another novel bursting with scheming, twisted desires and shocking events. Nikki Sloane once again conquered me with this thrilling story!!

I thought I was prepared for this finale, but I was stunned by all the new tricks Macalister uses to get Marist and win against Royce. He’s seriously one tw

Back in September, a friend of mine was at RARE London and told Nikki Sloane she couldn't wait to see what happened with Martis and Royce in The Deception.  Nikki's response was "Yeah, me too!"  Well, between then and now, Sloane got down to business and finished out this outstanding trio of books, giving Marist, Royce and McAllister the ending they deserve.  Strap in kiddies, cause you're in for a wild ride of a read!

From the prologue that will leave you gap-jawed and wondering what

Before I had finished the prologue, I was already chanting OMG. This is gold. A diamond, actually. Hard, relentless, dazzling. A plot so twisted and thrilling that it kidnaps you from life and keeps you as its willing prisoner.

The Hale family is a nest of vipers ready to poison every hope in Marist. She is ready to fight, though. The last cliffhanger was brutal and the upheaval it caused taints a great part of this final novel in one of the best trilogies I’ve read in this genre. Dar

Nikki took me on a rollercoaster ride with this series.
I legit had about 27 mini anxiety attacks reading this series and I loved every min of it!
I was so drawn to this story and it lived up to every expectation that I had. It was drama, suspense, filthy hotness, and some romance mixed up in there.
You never really know if you should be rooting for Royce and Marist or not, even up until the end you start to second guess yourself.
There are so many dirty hot f

This was everything I needed! Each installment in this series brought the tension and heat and angst to a blistering level. MacAllistar is probably one of the most evil and wonderful characters I have come across in a very long time. His intelligence and cunning and determination have no equal. This book starts at a dead run and never lets up. The pace makes it hard to read slow enough to enjoy the ride. Each time they entered 'negotiations' my heart stuttered a little and my anxiety spiked. As ...more

I loved this book and trilogy so much! The writing is such that it just pulls you into the story and these characters. This book has all the twists and turns. It has excitement and it’s so dang hot. Nikki Sloane is a master of writing sexy scenes. She gets into the mental aspects of it, not just the physical.
Her books are fantastic stories as well as 🔥

5.5 Amazing Stars!

All Hail the Hales!

I had been nervously awaiting the highly anticipated release of The Deception, the final book in the Filthy Rich American Trilogy, all thanks to the shocking cliffhanger in the previous story. I felt like a six year-old child waiting for Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy to arrive on the same day, not knowing what to expect, just knowing something HUGE was waiting to be revealed. I had my doubts, if I’m being honest, the previous two books had been so superbly well written that I was afraid t

We’re in the end game now and I’m not referring to the avengers people!

Okay if you know anything about this series then you know there’s several scenes involving Chess all through out. Chess is really three games in one we learn. A beginning, middle and an end. Which is coincidentally? Like this trilogy.

In The Deception we find Marist right where The Obsession left off; with her collapsing on the staircase after having been poisoned by Alice. I don’t want to give too

“Ours was the only love story in the myths that I believed had a happy ending.
We were Persephone and Hades.”

The Deception is the last book in the Filthy Rich Americans trilogy and concludes the story of Marist and the Hale family. After the cliffhanger of the second book, where Marist ends up poisoned, we follow the unfolding and the consequences of this situation. And in a family where social status matters most, the weight of this scandal is a blemish that patriarch Macalister is unwi

The Deception is twisted.
The Deception is powerful.
The Deception took my mind and heart to the darkest and most depraved corner of humanity.
Nikki Sloane has unleashed the beast of sins, lust, passion and suspense.
And it is going to devour you whole.

The Deception is the epic and explosive conclusion of Filthy Rich American trilogy. And what a way to finish this mindblowing series. My head is totally muddled and messed up. Macalister Hale; the arrogant, ruthless and

WOW what an ending to a fabulous series. Nikki Sloane really knows how to keep you interested, intrigued, and give you all the feels.
Marist is finally going to marry the man of her dreams or maybe her nightmares, Royce Hale. She’s not sure if he’s the perfect liar or just emotionally closed off like his father. Having to be strong to withstand the dark, twisted and crazy games Macalister Hale her soon to be father-in-law plays with her, mentally and emotionally this woman is a rock or is she? W

Damn... just... DAMN! This whole series was messed up, gave me anxiety, and made me uncomfortable but it was oh so hot and mesmerizing at the same time!

Nikki Sloane does not disappoint in the final instalment of the Filthy Rich American's trilogy. In fact, the series only gets better in The Deception. Macalister is still is a overbearing, manipulative, selfish asshole and his sick infatuation with Marist only continues to grow stronger with every protest she makes.

This is the 3rd and final book in the Filthy Rich Americans series, and Nikki delivers a slam dunk! This book was simply amazing, wrapping up all of the plot twists and questions we had at the end of the second book.
In this story we find Marist coming into her own, wanting to get to the bottom of all the games and lies. She is thrown between the 2 Hale men, both wanting her for their own reasons, but she is unwilling to play that game anymore. She refuses to play the pawn anymore and has d

I am completely obsessed with the Filthy Rich American series! I read the first two books as they came out and, after the explosive and nail-biting cliffhanger at the end of book two, I counted the days until I could get my hands on The Deception.

But, once I did get my hands on book 3, I was so nervous going in because I was firmly on Team Royce and I was worried for my precious babies, Royce and Marist. Once I started reading, though, I basically devoured this book barely taking a breath becau

Nikki has never given me a story that was less than five stars, The Deception is no different.

Wow. I’m almost speechless after finishing this trilogy. It was such an incredible story. So unique. Lies, lust, deceit, trust, and so much more.

Make sure you read The Initiation and The Obsession before reading The Deception. These are not stand alone stories and each book is a cliffhanger minus The Deception seeing as it’s the finale of the trilogy.

Truths, carefully planned actions and a wedding. Everything comes together in The Deception, the third and final part of the ‘Filthy Rich Americans Series’. Marist has grown into her role as a player in the Hale game and Royce and Macalister are fighting for dominance over the Hale empire. I love the conclusion to the Trilogy.

Relationship-wise Marist and Royce are on the right path. They have feelings for each other, and slowly they get used to them. But slowly falling in love isn’t an option

Shel: It's always a good sign when the final book in a series releases and you put down an engaging book you're currently reading because you can't wait to see how the new release will end, right? Right. This is definitely what happened when The Deception hit my Kindle. Coming off the cliffhanger Nikki gave us in The Obsession, I was extremely ready for more of this Filthy Rich Americans series! I had been craving it since August and was desperate for the conclusion. 3 stars. The Deception is the final book in the Filthy Rich Americans series and the conclusion to Marist's story. I can't go into the story too much without spoiling, but I will share that they story continues along the same suspenseful, angsty, sexy vein in which it began.

I had a bit of a hard time connecting with this book. The characters were all deceptive, hard to trust and we didn't know who was telling the truth or was backstabbing each other until the very end. I wasn't sure that I like

I can’t even begin to describe how much I loved this story and how much I needed this story in my life. The Deception is the third and final book in the Filthy American’s Trilogy and let’s just say this series went out with a bang.

I have loved Marist from the start. She has grown so much throughout this series and is now not afraid to battle against Macalister and all his games. She was playing with the best of them and willing to do whatever she could to win this game. Once she officially beca

The Deception, the final book in The Filthy Rich Americans trilogy by Nikki Sloane is a pure unputdownable masterpiece. Bold and truly provoking romance, dripping with lust, manipulation, betrayal, and lack of control. This is a world of the most powerful people, immortals, at their best and the worst behaviors!

Deception by Nikki Sloane is the third and final book in the Filthy Rich Americans trilogy, you must read the first two books to fully understand the strengths and weakness of the two main characters. I was waiting to find out how Sloane was going to weave Marist and Royce out of this twisted family obsession of lies, desires, business deals, and games.

Wow, what a conclusion!

I have never been so consumed with a story like I have been with this one. From the first words to the very last lines, this entire series borrows its way into you and won't let up until you've binged every last word.

Book three picks up right after the epic cliffhanger of book two. And if you thought it's been a wild adventure so far, you haven't seen anything yet. Power is the name of the game, and lies and deceptions are just par for the course. A
