I have always enjoyed sewing plush toys since I had to make one in high school. However I have run into trouble finding many pattern books that weren't knitting or teddy bears. So when I saw this bright, colourful looking book on fleece critters I couldn't resist.
The book offers many patterns of varying styles and while 20 may not seem like a lot to some, the patterns offered can easily be altered to suit you. I took the tiger pattern and with just a few changes made it into a fox. That was one of the things I liked most about this book. That I could so easily edit the patterns, turning them into other animals that I wanted more. That and the fact that polar fleece is indeed a wonderful and forgiving fabric to work with.

I checked this out from the library and loved the variety of animals. The only problem was a lot of the patterns were missing. Why do people think it's ok to take patterns out of library books?! It was frustrating to say the least.

I'm going to make one of these for my new nephew with Kathie in June. Can't wait!
