I did not like this book for some reason, it really got on my nerves. I study a lot of herbalism, mainly I study native North American herbalism and TCM and they overlap a lot. Keeping in mind natives and the Chinese have had thousands of years of perfecting and caring out these medicinal trials and what have you. This person accredits thousands of years of concepts of various cultures to 200 years of a German dude who discovered the same concept through his own life, which is valid but I just want to say biochemical salts have studies disproving it while TCM has studies proving it soooo. I am actually most annoyed by the pointless picture captions or pictures, the captions could be in the text or idk. I have never seen anything like this. This would be a good book to give to an old white person who thinks you're natural interests are woo woo and they have a proclivity for German history, could help them get on board. Also I HATE that the scientific names are all caps and only the genus name. like do it correctly or don't write the book.
This really is a simple guide. After the extensive books I've been reading, this seemed like a book for youngsters. However, it would be a nice book to have as a reference. It didn't delve as much into the various knowledge about the person's personality and circumstances. Easy to read.
