A somewhat interesting read, but very out-of-date. I realize flowers don't change that much (as opposed to medical info., etc.), but there are new "breeds" of plants and how we care for them, feeding, watering, fertilizing, etc. has changed over the last 20 years!

This was much better than I expected! The author goes into practical, easy-to-follow instructions for mixing your own soils, choosing a pot.... Also has a VERY good section on fruits and vegetables!
