Book two of the Mrs. B Mystery series features a strong plot, a compelling mystery and, just as the book did before it has the perpetually charming Mrs. B herself.

This book finds Mrs. B and her similarly-aged, firecracker of a friend, Anne looking for their shared friend, Alice who has gone missing from the senior center. There are few things I love more in this world than a good cozy mystery. Well, maybe a good cozy blanket and a warm mug of tea, but if I can have all three of those things together? Oh boy, now we're talking.

Mrs. B is a jolly old lady that totally loves her little town her (slightly large) circle of friends. After waiting for her friend Alice to turn up for a pre-scheduled meeting, and not sure why Alice stood her up, Mrs. B goes in search of Alice. What shocks her is that Alice seems to have vanished into thin air.
