This is a great research tool for serious fans of the sweet science and a must have for their private library. Keep in mind that this deals solely with those boxers in the IBHOF, and limits your reseacrch for example if you wanted to study someone like a Lupe Pintor or an active fighter like Holyfield or the K brothers who are not yet eligible. This is best accompanied by the enyclapedia of boxing and record book, and/or internet tools as well ring/KO Mags and other sources to gain a fuller picture.

This is also a cool stand alone book for those wanting a better knowledge/understanding of the greats of the past and more modern era and to be able to understand boxers with a historical perspective in mind. Great 2-5 page capsules on hundreds of boxers and even a few non combatants who are also in the Hall of Fame.

Absolute essential for boxing afficianados.
