Very much enjoyed the second in the Legacy Series.

Main character Angelica Rossi has turned away from her life as a thief after becoming a Christian. Unfortunately, she is around some shady characters in the home she lives in and finds herself in a difficult situation. Due to her past, she doesn't feel she has many options, but is determined not to return to a life of crime.

She crosses paths with Donovan Gilcreast, the brother of one of her childhood friends, that blames A

I have read everything Robin Patchen has written and so far, this one is my favorite! As the past few series have, this one takes place in the fictional small town of Nutfield, NH. Angel Rossi has found herself in some hot water after getting fired from her job and goes to her brother Jack for help. Jack offers her refuge in a house that he's having remodeled to sell. Reclusive Donovan Gilcreast lives there while he's fixing it up, but it's a large enough house that Jack feels comfortable lettin ...more

-‘“It doesn’t matter what you’ve done. You are worth fighting for.”’-

Angel feels valueless and unworthy of love or even second chances. She has lived a life of crime. Lately, she’s been living in a sober house and must keep a job to stay out of prison. But, when people know your past, they make judgments about you and often treat you unfairly. Prejudice, distrust, hatred follow her, and it’s hard to keep a job under those circumstances. Despite doing the right thing, giving someone b

Angel is in a predicament because of the terrible choices she has made starting when she was a young teen. She is now a Christian but God only forgives our sins: He does not eliminate the consequences of those sins. She has worked diligently with her attorney and the court to turn her life around, and seems to be making good progress. But suddenly everything is coming unraveled and she finds herself being approached by a police officer who wants her to work as a confidential informant. I cannot ...more

A nail-biting story of redemption!

Angelica “Angel” Rossi is no angel but she is trying to turn her life around and has found a new purpose since she found God. She lives in a sober living house and has a job in a restaurant; a condition of her parole. She is a good worker, or at least she was until being fired after someone told her manager that she was a crook. On arriving back at the sober living house she interrupts an assault on her friend and is badly beaten.

I thoroughly enjoyed Legacy Restored, the second of Robin Patchen’s The Legacy series. If you’ve not had the pleasure of reading one of Patchen’s stories, you are seriously missing out!

Angelica Rossi should be in jail, but when given the opportunity to work with an undercover operation to help stop an art thief, one who will stop at nothing to get what he wants, even murder.

Donovan Gilcrest has agreed to restore his friends old Victorian in exchange for a place to live; actually, a place to hi

Not a mystery, but a crime drama this time, with a dash of romance of course. Legacy Restored is just as wonderful as Robin Patchen's previous books. Whenever I am asked about my favorite authors, I always include Robin Patchen in that list.

In this book, Jack Rossi's youngest sister, Angelica (Angel) shows up on his doorstep. (Fans will recognize Jack's name from previous books.) Angel has accepted Christ, and is living a new life, but has once again found herself in trouble, but this time not

Legacy Restored by Robin Patchen
The Legacy Series Book Two
Angelica “Angel” Rossi had taken a bad road. She'd been raised in a good family. A Christian home. But her sense of adventure took her down a path of stealing, lying, and of a con-artist. Now, after another arrest, she's finally come to truly know Christ. To know she belongs to Him. She still needs to see herself as being worthy of all He did for her. But for now, and with the predicament she's in, she still sees herself as th

Such a beautifully written story of second chances, redemption, finding love and walking in faith. Would easily give this book 7 stars. In this story, we meet Angel who, while she has made some mistakes in her past, has found redemption in Jesus and yet struggles with feeling unworthy. And we meet Donovan who is grieving the loss of his sister and is avoiding people and looking for someone to blame. As their lives intertwine, can they help each other? And can they trust again?

I love how this st

My favorite of Robin Patchen's books thus far. Angelica (Angel) Rossi is trying to make amends for her past as she has become a Christian and desires to live a redemptive life. But her past means bargaining with the unsavory detective, Routhier, to bring a criminal to justice and keep Angel out of prison if shs goes along with the scheme. After her years of strained family relationships, she has reconnected with her brother, Jack, who has contracted with artist, Donovan Gilcreast to do the resto ...more

Legacy Restored by Robin Patchen
Wow! This book kept my attention from beginning to end with action, tension, and conflict on virtually every page. Young Angel, the heroine, has made some very bad choices in her early life, but now she has a chance to erase all her past mistakes. However, this chance doesn’t come without risk, and it’s something she can’t share with anyone or the detective’s deal will be off. This contract comes between Angel and her budding romance with Donovan, the hero,

She longed to be free from her past, but was she really worth fighting for?

Angel was courageous when it came to fighting for others. But she doubted her own worth and was more likely to give up than stand up for herself.
I really enjoyed the theme of restoration in Legacy Restored. If you look for it, you’ll find it in more than one place!
However, as much as I enjoyed everything else about the book, I was uncomfortable with the detailed descriptions of the characters’ kisses.

What an incredible story of God's grace and redemption! Robin Patchen has done a masterful job of creating characters who touch your heart. Angel's life is a perfect example of the struggles we face as Christians and I quickly found myself invested in her story. Donovan is a wonderful hero, flawed, and healing from his own struggles. The issues of drug addiction are dealt with in a compelling way throughout the story. If you are looking for a clean, Christian romantic suspense, Legacy Restored w ...more

"Blessed Beyond Belief.". Angel and Donovan have a rocky start. With God's help, Angel is trying to straighten out her life. Donovan believes Angel got his sister on drugs and she died from an overdose. Angel didn't do drugs though. This is a very complicated, interesting, and exciting story. I couldn't put it down. There's a statue heist with Angel being the informant to the police so she can get off probation.

I would give this book 10 stars if I could. Robin Patchen has once again

God Can Restore What Satan Has Stolen

This is the story of Donovan and Angel, but, more than that it is the story of how Angel finds her true Worth in Jesus Christ. This is a great read, as all of Robin's books are. It is a very different story than what she has written in the past. I don't want to give any spoilers away. I will tell you, try your best not to sit in the judgment seat of anyone in this wonderful tale, except maybe Anton, he deserves to thrown in the hoosegow😉

Another great book by this author. Looking forward to the next one. When two people get thrown together in a large house all kinds of things can happen. Angel can't out run her past or live it down, amd Donovan's past has blocked his heart and as a result his paintings have no heart or feeling. Donovan still blames Angel for getting his sister hooked on drugs and her untimely death. Angel can't speak of the heist going down for fear of prison time. Both are working to get their lives back on tra ...more

This is an edge of your seat suspense story that kept me reading non stop! Angel and Donovan are two very complex carriers, who have issues that need to be worked out with God in some major ways! I was totally captivated by Angel and her story, and on the plus side we get to visit with Harper and Jack again!!
The romance was so beautiful, and the suspense had my heart racing...there were times I literally held my breath waiting for an outcome! Robin Patchen is a master in this genre!

Once again a woman is placed in a situation full of fear and danger. There seems to be no one she can trust and no way out. As Robin Patchen weaves this story the suspense is overwhelming. The story drew me in and I felt I experienced this adventure. The people of this story, whether good or bad, will stand out in my mind for the way they are written with such depth. Books one and two are equally excellent!

This is a really exciting story, one you don't want to put down until you've read the entire book. It contained a lot of intrique, mystery and romance. It was based on Faith in Jesus Christ and the ability to entrust one's future to Him without fear. The author did a wonderful job telling the story.

Angel has been a sinner of her life despite her name. Now, she has found God but in order to keep her freedom she has to commit a felony again. Donovan is been mourning his sister's death and blaming himself for not helping her. Can these two hurting people find God and help each other to find love and happiness again? Can they trust each other? A great story about faith and forgiviness.

Classic Robin Patchen! Plenty of unexpected things happen when an ex-con and an artist team up - accidentally - to bring down a murderer. Loved the characters in this one. He's broody and temperamental, the quintessential artist. She's independent and insecure, an interesting combination. Together, they'll keep you turning the pages.

Another fast-paced nailbiter by Robin Patchen. You won't be able to put this one down either. I couldn't! "Legacy Restored," like all of Patchen's books, is filled with suspense, romance, redemption and ultimately, justice.

I highly recommend this book, as well as other books by Patchen. You won't be sorry.

Mysteries are my favorite books. This one is great! Donovan has to learn the facts & Angel has to learn to accept forgiveness. How they work things out is exciting. I look forward to any future books in the series. I received an ARC. This is my honest, voluntary review.

This entire story is an epiphany--a purple one, "the color of triumph". Robin Patchen's skill level is still growing exponentially. The humor, the complexities and ironies, and flat-out marvelous writing makes Legacy Restored a benchmark in this writer's upward soar.

Aside from her family and her Savior, Robin Patchen has two loves—writing and traveling. If she could combine them, she’d spend a lot of time sitting in front of her laptop at sidewalk cafes and ski lodges and beachside burger joints. She’d visit every place in the entire world—twice, if possible—and craft stories and tell people about her Savior. Alas, time is too short and money is too scarce fo ...more
