Bonkers, as almost all masques were - and it sounds as if it was dogged by mishaps, like stage machinery creaking loudly, people aflling over and the like. Considering the fate of the marriage (Both partners convicted of murdering Sir Thomas Overbury and sent to the Tower) this would seem to be a suitably ill-ominous event.
