You Can Have Manhattan was just what I needed. Marriage of convenience and enemies to lovers executed to perfection. On top of that delicious and fabulous slow burn filled with funny and sexy moments from both Sydney and Scott that just made me smile and my heart sing.

Scott doesn’t want to be married to Sydney and does everything in his power to scare her off but Sydney is one tough and resilient woman. Sydney and her clowns and Scott turning off the furnace just to name a few things they both d

First tango with this author but I’m glad to take out my dance shoes from the closet. Because I had so much fun! This book’s plot is a little similar to Claire Contreras’ Consequence of Falling. Especially the same reason created the hatred and edgy and angsty tension between the couple at the last parts of the book. I don’t want to compare the good authors’ writing style but I loved this version mos

One of the best romance novels I have read this year.

Sydney Evans is a woman living in New York who has no family or friends to speak of. Her career was her life, and she excelled as a woman in a male dominated business. She’d been the general counsel for Blackstone Holdings since she graduated law school, and adored her boss. He was her mentor, and she would do just about anything for him. She soon finds out that includes marrying his spoiled, rich, self absorbed, playboy son. In exchange, she is off

So, I’m just going to lay it all on the line. Get my feelings out while I can. I’ve read a decent sized portion of this author's backlog and I’ve managed to reach a very important conclusion

P. Dangelico is my spirit author. I’m not sure what that means, exactly, but I figure if I can have a spirit animal (turtle, thank you very much) I most definitely can have a spirit author. I’ll try to keep my stalking to a minimum now that I’ve proclaimed my love, but I am prepared to gush about

P. Dangelico has been a strong favorite for me for quite some time now. She has the ability to create characters who are equal in abilities, charm and internal strength. This is huge...for not all characters in books are created equally. It is very easy to have one or the other not be up to snuff with an imbalance of power. This can happen unintentionally so it is a pleasure to read when we are given a couple who can give as goo

You ever read a book and immediately after finishing it want to start it all over again? This is a true rarity for me and exactly what happened here. A Top 10 Favorite of all time on my list, and definitely my favorite book of 2019! This was incredible, stunning and so perfect.

It starts with a very believable setup to a marriage of convenience trope between enemies. Sydney is one of my favorite characters ever. She had a really horrible childhood, and is strong, resilient and has s

'We're not built to be alone. We need to connect. We're designed to seek common ground, to hold each other up, to nurture one another.

You Can Have Manhattan by P Dangelico was a proper enemies to lovers’ romance with high angst and emotions. In this story, we as readers sure had to work at it to fall in love with the characters and their journey. Fortunately, P Dangelico writes wonderful characters that whilst they may tread the fine line between love and h

OMG THIS BOOK! You Can Have Manhattan is my first book to read by this author and will not be my last. I have not been this emotional or crazed or highly anxious about a book in a long time!

When my good book blogger friend Angie told me to read it, I picked it up right away.

I was not expecting the tears, the frustration, the heartbreak and loss... the heat... the chemistry... OMG Scott and Sydney. This book is EVERYTHING I love about reading!

P Dangelico has this incredible ability to just draw me into her stories from the very first word and make me never want to leave. Her writing is effortless and flows so beautifully that it’s an absolute pleasure to read her books. I adored Sydney and Scott and was rooting for them right from the start; Syd was feisty and everything I love in a female character. Besides these two though, the side characters in Paolas books always have me intrigued and desperate for more - in this case it was Dra ...more

A new author to me and boy did she make a fan out of me. A fantastic arranged marriage of enemies to lovers that is full of sexual tension, emotions and heart.

Sydney Evans is an amazing woman. She has worked hard for everything in her life, her mantra....I’m a thriver not a survivor. She is loyal to one man, her boss, Frank Blackstone, who has groomed her to take over his company. So when he tells her she must marry his son, her loyalty and her compassion agrees. Scott Blacks

4.5 stars. I loved Sydney. Despite her awful upbringing , she still was able to be open to a relationship. She discovered that she actually would like that. My issue was with Scott. He was so immature. What he did to Sydney when she got to the ranch was bad enough, but what he did when he found out about his father was unconscionable. I don't know how Sydney forgave him so easily.

Brilliantly done with a dual POV and I really, really liked this one.

I CRIED. ON THE TRAM. ALOT. Nuff said right? That says everything but I shall elaborate.

Sydney Evans is not what everyone thinks she is. She has earned her position as lead council the hard way and her mentor is the one she now needs to help. But it will come with a price and yet she does it anyway.

A forced/blackmailed marriage that might come to mean more who knows. I wouldn’t call them enemies maybe adversaries neverthel

Woah, so I picked this up intending to only read a little bit and next thing I knew I was finishing the book. P. Dangelico knows how to write a book, her ability to suck me into a plot is amazing and You Can Have Manhattan did just that for me. From page one I was hooked.

Sydney and Scott's story was awesome!! I loved how the author played in Sydney... She didn't have the best childhood, but she was strong and she wanted to try a relationship, She knew how to hold her own and she didn't scare eas

Cute story - One to dive into as a reading palate cleanser perhaps.

You Can Have Manhattan hooked me from the very beginning. Right off the bat, I knew Sydney was in trouble when her boss, Frank offers her the job of her dreams with the stipulation that she marry his playboy son, Scott. This book truly has it all. It has enemies to lovers, arranged marriage/fake marriage, damaged heroine looking for acceptance, damaged hero running from responsibilities, slow-burn romance, reformed manwhore, and more. 4.5 Stars!

I've finally read my first P. Dangelico book and I have to say, I'm all in. It had all the makings of the perfect romance for me - two favorite tropes (enemies-to-lovers and marriage of convenience), swoon-worthy tension and tenderness, and convincing conflict. It also had some wonderful banter. On first impression, I was concerned that Sydney was going to be a hard heroine to connect with, but after she set foot in Wyoming, I was smitten. She was the perfect combination of strength, r

„This thing between us was irrational and without a doubt doomed to end badly, and yet there was no reasoning with chemistry.”

P. Dangelico decided to write a story with one of my favorite tropes and she totally slayed me! I can’t properly express how much I loved this book. The author mixed arranged marriage with enemies to lovers and then she spiced it up with angst and so much sexual tension that I was worried that my Kindle will burst into flames at some point. I picked up this ARC solely based on the great reviews and I was intrigued by this being a debut novel because recently I read another debut novel I really liked. The tropes inside were interesting. Not all of them some of my favorites, but the overall premise was promising.

This book was definitely good! I thoroughly enjoyed it! The characters felt real and the attraction and feelings between them felt natural. This is an enemies to lovers

This one took me by surprise. I figured I would start it since it was a rainy morning and pick it back up after doing some adulting stuff. Yeah, I ended up reading the whole thing this afternoon and said screw my adulting stuff. Oh man, Sydney and Scott had me feeling all emotional in my heart place. There was a time or two that my eyeballs were sweating a little. The angst was real and strong in those parts! Since I couldn’t put it down, it’s obvious that I really enjoyed this book.

All I really need to say about this book: TROPES. You Can Have Manhattan has a combo of my all-time fav tropes which are: marriage of convenience, enemies to lovers and COWBOYS. This honestly had me SOLD on signing up for an ARC before I’d even read any previous reviews on it. All of my favourite tropes in one book? It was pretty much a no -brainer.

While I was expecting a delightful combo of grumpy cowboys and a swift trip to the alter, I didn’t go in to this book with high expectations in regar

From the start I had a smile on my face. It’s a great set-up for an enemies-to-lovers, marriage of convenience romance. It was everything I wanted and more. It gave me a story and a couple to completely fall in love with and cheer on for that happily-ever-after.

There is so much more to Sydney Evans and Scott Blackstone than what you see on the surface. They don’t really know each other even though they have somewhat of a history. They both have secrets. They both have assumption

Outstanding read! This book is very well written with a story line that will grab your attention quickly and hold on to it right to the very (funny) end. I loved Sydney. She's strong, intelligent, beautiful and a tiny bit broken. She's an attorney and works for a man who has been like a father to her, so when he tells her he's dying, she thinks he's joking at first but then realizes that he isn't. Then he hits her with his that she cannot refuse to agree to. She must marry his son Sco ...more
