I Broke Her. Shattered her walls so she would finally let us in. Now her biggest challenge awaits her, and we will be there every single step of the way. Supporting her, loving her, and letting her fall apart so we can put her back together, with us.
She heals. She loves, thrives, grows. Our unexpected desire for her drives us crazy with need. That need leads to lapses in judgement that just might send her running for the hills. But I think we did it on purpose. Will her strength and our love be enough to keep her by our side when everything feels like it’s blowing up around us? Is it too soon? Too much, too fast? Can she handle the pressure of being in the spotlight because she loves us? Because she needs us as much as we need her?
The truth is, we don’t know. The reality is, we’re suddenly falling for the woman who has enraptured us. Captured our hearts and snaked her way into our souls.

This is book two in The Serendipity Trilogy series. Book one Unexpected Desires is a must read before this one.
This picks up from where book one ended. Keenan, Bodie and Rivers story continues. The fast past continues throughout throwing you on an emotional rollercoaster.
Part 2 of this trilogy that must be read in order.
After few difficult pages to get back to the story, the switch happened and it was impossible to let go. The author has a very personal way to write. Multiple points of views (POV) from the 3 heroes but unfollowing their life live, as it happens. The best way to describe it is a live chat. I am generally not fond of present tense but the author makes it work.
I like book 2 a bit less than book 1 but not by much. The main reason is the breast pumping and I-need-to-pee every 2 pages. I understood it was her focus and daily issues but as a reader at one point, it became not only redundant but boring and then annoying. But end of the book got a bit better.
I also found some inconsistencies regarding how billionaires reacted with money but this as well got much believable mid story. Over the top reaction that I got explanation after scene made me question why I didn’t know they were villains first so I could understand the heroes reaction. But this, in my opinion, is just because the author wrote the story in a live mindset, probably forgetting that readers do not have a fortune teller crystal ball lol
Now the good parts...
Everything else. The way we are plunged in the story, the emotions we get each line we read. It is reading a journal, but more. It is as if the heroes and all second characters are in your room or better as if your are the drone following them around. The speed of the events is very slow, allowing you to understand and live day to day their life. It felt like a TV reality menage romance.
Once you start reading this story, you just cannot let it go. I found myself rushing to my iPad to read more. I really appreciate that final book 3 will be published in a month. I hate long delays in between because I forget the story. Here will not be the case. In fact, I am confident enough that if someone asks me to talk about this story in a year or more, I will be able to discuss it but definitely recommend it!
When the writer knows what they are talking about, an honest review is simple. The writing pulls at your heart...makes you want to fight for love, and will make you not want to put the book down!!! I cant get enough of the characters. The emotion that you can feel through each page. Love that makes your heart want to...re-read...over & over. This is an easy enjoyable long read ! Best part, it's book 2 of 3 Worst part, it's book 2 of 3
Book two in the Serendipity Trilogy, we pick up where we left this trio in book one. Obviously as the second book of the trilogy, you do have to read book one to even hope to understand the story you are about to read! Even then you may need a notepad and pen!!! There is so much going on with this trio. I will say after the first few chapters I did grow to like Keenan more, and although I enjoyed this book more than book one, I am still struggling with the dynamics of this relationship. I know it is possible to love more than one person, but I still can’t get my head around how Keenan and Bodie can go from being so deeply in love with one another and only one another for such a long time to suddenly falling in love with a third person – the same third person, and yes I know the book is called ‘Suddenly Falling’ but…anyway. Each of the characters, Keenan, Bodie and River have so many attractive qualities. I love River’s selflessness, Bodie’s attentiveness and Keenan’s all-encompassing dominance and control. This book, in parts showed a harder more detached side to Keenan, but the more the story unravels the more it becomes understandable.
The different relationships within this story are a joy to read about - River’s friendship with Addison and Raine is the one I really enjoy reading about as she deserves that support network. Introducing Cami t the story is like going home, I always loved her – she is so, I don’t know comfortable maybe! Anyway this book takes you on quite the journey. With the usual emotion the author writes with and the flowing nature of the story, this book will set you up for what I am sure will be a fireworks type finale!
This is the second book in the series and it picks up right where the first one ended. And it did not slow down at all. As Keenan, Bodie, and River grow as a trio, they are learning more and more about each other and their wants, likes, and dislikes. Keenan with all his Mastering ways, he still can be soft with River when she needs it. And Bodie is a sub to Keenan and also a Dom to River. And River is the glue that Keenan and Bodie never knew they were missing. The three of them work in the whole dynamic and as their story unfolds, you will learn more about them and their friends from other series as the trio gets ready for the big day. Zoey Derrick took some time off from writing but let me tell you that she is back and with a vengeance. This series will have you on the edge of your seat and leave you wanting more. If you haven't read any of her books yet, you need to. I fell in love with her Reason series, it is Angels & Demons and have read and loved everything I've read from her since. I recommend any of her books. Anyway, pick one up and enjoy! **I voluntarily reviewed an advanced complimentary copy of this book**
The last time we saw these three their relationship was just beginning and they were hopelessly in love despite some extenuating circumstances. Watching the relationship between Keenan Bodie and River Blossom has been an experience that i just can not describe.
Keenan is the Master and he knows how to command his lovers. He never thought he would this way again about a woman he was happy with his life with Bodie until the day he set eyes on River.
Bodie is a switch and was happy with his life with Keenan but he always felt something was missing for them. He saw River on a run and he had to have her.
River is doing a huge favor for some friends when she met Bodie and Keenan and she didn’t think they could possibly want her but they did.
The love these three has blossomed since book one and life is full of surprises for them. They take everything on together. I can’t wait to see what these three get into in the final book
4 stars for - Suddenly Falling - book two in the Serendipity Trilogy by Zoey Derrick. This book must be read after the first book in the series - Unexpected Desires as the storyline is continuous. Please be aware that this is a ménage romance with lots of super steamy man-on-man loving so if that's not your cup of tea you may want to skip this one. River, Kennan and Brody are back as they learn to navigate the waters of their own relationship while she is no longer a surrogate for her friends. The media gets wind of who/what she is to the guys and she has to prepare herself for the circus that follows. All three learn to make concessions both big and small in order to make each other happy especially when they are faced with heartache and loss. Where this triad goes next is what we all are left anxiously awaiting...
So great!! Brodie, Keenan and River have captured my heart. I love the way the story has turned. Letting them have their own happy ever after is wonderful to watch. So many things going on. We find out just how BIG of a world Keenan lives in when his family comes into the picture. We get to see more friend interaction, like Addison, Talon, Kyle, Dex, Raine, Cami, Tristan... All my favorites. It wonderful for me to read about. This book flew by so quick!! River has such a big heart, she’s willing to help Addison with her problems along with Caden. I am loving this series. Cant wait for book 3 but then that will still probably not be enough. I love Zoey’s writing to death. And keys not forget the steamy scenes we get also. Enjoy!!
I'm not even sure where to start with this review. I guess, first, Suddenly Falling is the 2nd part of a trilogy. You need to read Unexpected Desires before reading this book. Second, what an absolute whirlwind of amazing. Keenan, Bodie, and River are such great characters. The connection these three share is unparalleled and so incredibly hot it's hard to put down. River is such a giving person. I won't go into detail but the things she is willing to do for the ones she loves are incredible. And the ending.....it's a cliffhanger but one that will leave you wanting so much more! Absolute recommend this series.
I am at a loss for words. If you thought book one was amazing, this is better. I'm art the edge of my seat waiting for balls to drop. Not literally, but I'm waiting for the big reveal of twins. Not sure if it's going to happen but I'm hoping. I was waiting for Addison to call her out in it, but although it never came, it still was an amazing story. Bold returns to give you a sneak peek at their lives now, plus Cotah, Ireland, and Tristan. If you are like me, you can see through Caden and will be able to see everything how Keenan sees him asking with Bodie. So much given and you want more.
The 2nd story in the Serendipity Trilogy continues the journey of River, Keenan and Bodie. Their love, their passion, their open-hearted care of each other and those they love. It's priceless, amazing, sexy-as-hell, and everything that 'love-dreams' are made of!
Seeing all the characters we've met in the past with the 69 Bottles and Bold Security is just so much fun! It's like getting a full family hug - you know, the one where you just relax into the feeling, close your eyes and just melt!
Hurry up Book 3 - I can't wait much longer! It's so flippin' good......
Suddenly Fallen, the 2nd book in the Serendipity Trilogy is an amazing continuation of the story and I can't wait for more. Zoey delivers all the emotions with this trio, capturing the pitfalls of new relationships and old insecurities with flawless style. Book 3 can't get here soon enough!
I should've known based on the first book that this would be a waste of time. This book was so unnecessarily long! There was nothing important that happened in this book. They don't even get to the damn wedding. I have never read a book or perhaps a series that focused so much on money and how much the characters have. I really don't need a break down of how rich people figure out how to sell off all their properties. I also don't care to read a full conversation/dialog of River getting a credit card. Tell me how any of this is relevant?
I still don't understand the surrogacy topic/issue. These people are so rich and know so many people but they for some reason can't find anyone they "trust" enough? I also feel like River is being stupid and impulsive. Not only does she get pregnant again so quickly but she's barely 12 weeks pregnant and she's already making promises to be a surrogate for two other families. At least have your second baby first, see how you feel about motherhood, and then decide if you can still manage another pregnancy. I understand it's her body, her choice but I didn't like her phrasing regarding surrogacy. Saying that it's gross to have a stranger's eggs in her body and only wanting to be a surrogate for someone she knows, love, and care for is so condescending and insensitive. I'm dissapointed that her character was deduced down to just a baby making machine.
Keenan and River had a lot more one on time moments in this book but Bodie unfortunately got downgraded. It bothered me how Keenan was suddenly seeking out River for comfort especially to rub her pregnant belly. Bodie was barely around and usually just hanging around in the background. Ironically enough, the small moments between Keenan and Bodie still reeked of more love, deeper connection, and intimacy than either had with River. River didn't have much depth or soul in her character. It was like she was living in la la land.
Keegan, Bodie and River are finding their was to a happily ever after! All the characters are amazing and complete the story. Caden seems to be holding on to his Ash. Can’t wait to see how it all plays out!
I absolutely adore and love Zoey Derrick as an author. She is amazing there isnt any of her books that I dont love. I have read most and read them numerous times. She is by far one of my favorite authors, I was so excited she was releasing something new.
When I started reading the series I was exstatic, these characters are amazing and put me into tears numerous times from what they have gone through and how soul wrenching their story is.
I just love Bodie and how carefree and wonderful he is. Even though he can be dominant and be like Keenan with River he is for sure a dominant to Keenan and I can definitely relate to him and how he can go either way. Hes sweet charismatic and innocent.
River is so amazing and selfless, the things she is willing to do for the people she loves and adores is amazing.
Keenan oh my he is one sexy beast, the dominance in him soul is just the sexiest thing.
I love that many characters from other books were brough into this series. It kinda ties them all together and you get to hear how their individual stories have progressed and it is so exciting and wonderful.
I still go eek in my head thinking about how you really get to hear about aryn aka Beck's story with Caden.
This one moves along with her giving birth and then straight into getting pregnant right afterwards and their pregnancy and issues with their individual families that stresses them all out. Starting to make Kaden and Bodie worry about River and how she is going to handle it and the stress of being with them.
I finished this and emediately started reading the third I was so excited.
I love these books I don't want them to end, I like how all the characters are included Tristan, Cami, Kyle, Addison, Talon, Dex, Raine, Derek, Cotah, Caden, Beck, Ireland and Dyson, Ireland and Dyson need the own book too, I think River, Bodie and Keelan are my favourite, the dynamics is good and she is so selfless, love it.
I bought this book as soon as it came out but waited a few days before I read it because I had a lot of travel time to fill up. I’ve actually read it three times now! Written in triple first person POV. Has lots of hot sexy times with many configurations involving either two or three participants from the M/M/F triad. There’s more talk of BDSM than actual BDSM in this book. Lots of visits from other members of the Bold/69 Bottles world (great if you’ve read the other books in the series but not necessary if you haven’t). I wouldn’t consider this book as a standalone as I think that you really need to read Unexpected Desires in order to truly understand everyone’s background.
I enjoyed Unexpected Desires more than this book but I still really liked this one. I think that this book suffers from “book 2 syndrome”, in that this book sets up book 3 and introduces a lot of possible plot points for the next book without actually accomplishing a lot in this book. Don’t get me wrong, stuff still happens in this book but it ends on more of a cliffhanger than book 1 did. Can’t wait for book 3! 4.5 stars rounded up.
Suddenly Falling by Zoey Derrick is the second book in The Serendipity Trilogy. Suddenly Falling is not a standalone. For best reading experience I recommend to read the books in order. The previous book is Unexpected Desires. The story picks up where Unexpected Desires was left off. River is the surrogate for Aryn and his partner. In the meantime she found her own happy ever after in Keenan and Bodie. All three of them have a lot to deal with, insecurities, jealousy, an uncertain future.
After reading and loving the first book, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this next installment and what can I say I was so not disappointed. I loved every word in this heart warming and emotional read. I loved how easily I could connect with the characters and how real they are. I loved the excellent writing and the beautiful storyline. I recommend the book and the trilogy, 4,5 beautiful Stars.
I love everything that Zoey Derrick writes! I am so glad she is back to writing her amazing books. Suddenly Falling is the second book in her Serendipity Trilogy. This book does end in a cliffhanger so read with caution if you dislike them.
This book picks up right where the first one left off. Keenan, Bodie and River are learning to navigate their new life together. They all have lots going on but always make time for each other. There is nothing they wouldn't do for one another. I love watching them grow together as trio and can't wait to see where life takes them.
I love the connection between Keenan, Bodie and River. The secondary characters added lots of depth to the storyline. It's been so fun catching up with characters from her other books!! Can't wait for the next book!!
Following straight on from Unexpected Desires, i was absolutely addicted to this book and Keenan, Brodie and River. Their relationship was hot as hell but i also loved the care and attention that the boys lavished on River.
Its great seeing so many of my favourite characters from Zoey's other books - the 69 bottles crew, Ireland, Dakota, Cami & Tristan to name a few
The devotion the three of them have for each other is emotional so much so that you can feel that and the love they all have oozing through Zoey's words and the pages of this book. I could not put it down, i loved every page and did not want it to end - i'm so glad there is a third book to look forward to, i really don't want this to end
I didn't think it was at all possible to fall in love with these characters more than I already had, but Zoey Derrick made me fall even harder. I've said it before and I'll say it again the characters in Ms. Derrick's books feel like family and friends as I've read about them over the years. I have laughed and cried, scream and yelled, cheered and encouraged while seeing their lives play out in my head from the amazing writing of this author. Keenan, River and Bodie are such a wonderful threesome and I have loved their story to this point and cannot wait to see how this trilogy concludes. Zoey Derrick is back with a vengeance and I personally could not be happier. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book for an honest review.
Suddenly Fallen is the next book in the Serendipity Trilogy and begins right where Unexpected Desires ends. With this book we get to see River, Keenan, and Bodie develop their special relationship even more. They bond, they have trials, and they have wonderful moments of celebration. Zoey Derrick has once again written a book where we are immersed into their lives and are made to feel like we are one of inner circle as this story unfolds. The hardest part for me was that there had to be a stopping point and now we have to wait for the third and final book. I have to say this again, I am so very happy that Zoey Derrick has come back with a vengeance with this series!
Suddenly Falling - The Serendipity Trilogy Book #2 - Zoey Derrick ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book two in this wonderland new series by Zoey Derrick is a follow on from Unexpected Desire.
These characters continue to endear themselves and create a lasting impression on the reader.
River has carried her baby or Aryn and Caden but her connection with Keenan an Bodie grows stronger. There’s so much more coming....I can feel i!
A beautifully crafted story, exploring the MFM relationship as well as the lifestyle but ultimately, an emotion filled story of love, friendship and compassion.
Loved this and the previous book..... now waiting for the culmination of their story.
The second book in The Serendipity Trilogy and picks up right where the last one left off. I would not recommend that you read this without reading the first book… you won’t really get the whole story. In this book we see the love grow between Keenan, Bodie & River as well as some of the trials and tribulations that they go through. Still full of hot and steamy sex, you might need a few cold showers while reading. I loved how River fit into their lives so completely and we got to see her continued interactions with other familiar characters from previous books by Zoey. I cannot wait to see how things finish up in the next book.
Zoey Derrick is back with a vengence! She nailed it with Unexpected Desires and blew me away with Suddenly Falling! I can't wait to see what Finally Fallen brings!
When Unexpected Desires ended Keenan had finally broken thru River's wall and him and Bodie were there to catch her(can I have my own Keenan & Bodie please :-D). Suddenly Falling picks up right where UD left off, we get to see this trio bond and watch their love grow. It is a beautiful beautiful thing and I see big things for their future!
I was given an arc by the author in exchange for my honest review. If you are going to read this book you are going to need a fan a vibrator and a huge box of tissues. You have been warned.
This is the second book of the SERENDIPITY TRILOGY. Even though the book is still sexy and steamy it’s also far more emotional. The book brings up subjects such as home birth and Surrogacy. Subjects not easily brought up in romance novels. I can’t imagine the amount of research the had to do in order to get the procedures and the emotions right.
This was amazing. She is pregnant and she loves it. She has been asked to surrogate for another set of friends who can not have any other children. She doesnt hesitate about saying yes to the friends. She is well taken care of and the guys are so hot and sizzling with or without her. I loved how the guys and all of their friends. The men have added security for her. It was sizzling and I hate the cliffhanger. I can't wait for the next book
I am so loving this series, so far both books have kept my attention and have not let it go. I find myself wondering what is happening next while I'm not able to read. Life is sure changing drastically for River, and Keenan and Bodie are sure making it interesting that's for sure. They have the perfect trio relationship, I'm dying to read the third book
Wow what a book. We’re back with River Bodie And Keenan with tons of feels (be ready for some tears) enough sexiness to keep everyone happy. These three are sizzling hot together and Zoey doesn’t disappoint in this installment of the series.
