“And how does Bishop look at me?”
“Like he wants to hold your hand.” She pauses, her smile widening at my eye roll. “And shove it down the front of his pants.”

Enjoyable slow burn hockey romance from Helena Hunting. Stevie is RJ’s (hero from A Lie for a Lie) little sister, but she doesn’t want to be known as that. Bishop is RJ’s teammate, but he also doesn’t want to be known as that. All jokes aside this one starts with a misunderstanding, some barely dressed morning strut off, and a bruised

Stevie just moved to Seattle - she's a physical therapist fresh out of college. She's also fresh out of boyfriends. She caught her ex cheating - on her birthday, and unfortunately he's working at her new clinic too!

Stevie is staying in her big brother's penthouse. (Rook from the first book just moved into a family home with his wife and baby son.)

Stevie's new next door neighbor is the cherry on top of her crappy life at the moment!

He's running around in his underwear all day long insulting her

The heroine Stevie is the younger sister of RJ, who is the hero in the first book of the All In series. She is left without a place to stay after an incident, and luckily her brother RJ has an empty penthouse where she can reside for as long as she wants. She meets her broody arrogant but very sexy neighbor Bishop the first day and things start off on the wrong foot. He is a member of Seattle’s NHL expansion team, of which Stevie's
Stevie moves to Seattle for a new job as a sports physiotherapist, but when she decides to surprise her boyfriend Joey (on her birthday no less) she finds him playing away from home. Her brother, captain of Seattle's NHL expansion team (I Have no idea what that means so I am typing blind), offers her his apartment that he gets as part of his job and she stumbles into the apartment late at night, with only half her luggage, sobbing and alone - only to be insulted by a half-naked man from the ...more

I loved this book. It gave me all the feels. This book Is about Stevie and Bishop. Bishop is a professional hockey player and Stevie does things in the physical therapy field. Stevie was in a happy relationship with Joey (or so she thought). She decided to surprise him and found him having sex with another girl. She ended the engagement and stayed at her brothers engagement. This is how to met bishop because he felt that Stevie was a home wrecker since Bishop lives right across from her brothers ...more

Just to begin with, Stevie is the younger sister of RJ who we previously met in a Lie for a Lie and although they don’t NEED to be read in order I will suggest you do because you’ll love the brother as much as you’ll love the sister in this book.

After an incident with an ex Stevie is left with no where to stay and no one to go to except her brother who just so happens to have a penthouse empty but once see gets there she meets the

This was such an addicting love story that was sweet, but full of sexual tension at the same time. My husband played hockey so I love hockey romances a bit more than your average person. That may have contributed to my inability to put this one down, but realistically is was Huntings great writing that had me hooked from the get go.

Stevie was a main character that you'll immediately love with her sass and sarcastic manner. Honestly, I want her to be real so we can be friends and

When I found out that Stevie was going to be the heroine in A Favor for a Favor, I was ALL CAPS excited. When we met her briefly in A Lie for a Lie I completely fell in love with her. I’m pleased to say that I was not disappointed in the slightest. There’s no question that this is my new favourite book from Helena Hunting.

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Hunting and her way of writing. I always know I’m going to get a story that will make me

This has fast become one of my favourite series. I'm loving getting to know these characters and also getting glimpses of our faves from the Pucked series (which I still really to need to finish btw, shame on me!).

Stevie and Bishop have the most awkward and aggravating meeting, and then many of their interactions for a while after that are all based off of that initial run in, and assumptions about one another. I really loved when
Wow! I thought that A FAVOR FOR A FAVOR was amazing! I absolutely loved Bishop and Stevie! I loved the way that their relationship developed, all of the crazy intense chemistry, and every single moment between them! They were wonderful! I also loved seeing more of RJ and Lainey and some of our favourite Pucked characters. ;) I've been a bigtime Helena Hunting fan for a while now, but this is quickly becoming my favourite series of hers so far!!!

From the witty banter and the absolutely fantastic dialogue, Stevie and Bishops story never lacked in keeping my attention.

In typical Helena Hunting fashion, a Favor for a Favor has all the humor and feels we look forward to in her writing. As the second book in the All In series, it also has the perfect balance of honesty, intensity and fun in a sports romance.

Stevie is Rook Bowman's sister who we met in A Lie for a Lie. As we also learned in the first book, Bishop is the NHL player that Rook beat out for the captain's position on the new expansion team in Seattle where Alex Waters (Pucked Series, book one) is the

I knew after the first book of this series that it was magical. There is something different from the Pucked series that makes this one extraordinary. The writing style is different. It is even better. There is a sense of vulnerability to the characters that I really am enjoying. Don't get me wrong, I loved the snark and humor from the first series but at times it could get overwhelming. However, in this series the snark is subtle.

Strong characters, fantastic bantering, and so much

WOW! What a book! I loved this story so much that I am praying that there will be more

Stevie and Bishop were the perfect couple! I loved their banter and how well they fit together. I loved Bishop’s underwear! They had to be the best thing ever honestly.

Stevie was a firecracker, she spoke her mind and didn’t take anyone’s bullshit! Bishop was a tough guy and loved his brother unconditionally

I will write a full review closer to the release date so I don’t spoil

I think Bishop seriously despises clothes, “are you still here?” The door swings open. “And still in your damn underwear. Where the hell are your pants?” The man tends to be a tad bit overdramatic, “because you’re half-undressed in my tub, and I’m a guy, and apparently my ***k is a effing sadist. It honestly feels like my balls are on fire right now. A semi has literally never been this painful.” At least the man is honest, “I’m going to ruin the eff out of this dress, so I feel it’s only fair ...more
Hilarious from the meet-cute! Helena Hunting never fails to have MCs that I genuinely would want to be friends with. I endured high school and college with my stick up his butt brother, but never had to deal with the consequences of his decisions like Stevie had to with R.J., I would just claimed I was adopted.
Bishop has his own load of baggage to deal with, but the antics are too awesome to not enjoy. Every romance reader is going to fall in love with Helena if they haven't already with the
This series just gets better and better! This is Book 2 in the “All in” pucked spin-off series. Stevie Bowman is Rook’s little sister and moving to Seattle after a bad breakup to be a sports rehab physiotherapist. Sadly, her ex is also working there! Bishop Winslow is one of Rook’s new teammates. He is awoken by a pint size fireball making a Ruckus outside his apartment. These two have a not so friendly introduction to each other but can they find that they actually can get along? Bishop is not ...more

Although I love Rook and Lainey...Bishop...omg! He is EVERYTHING. The handsome jerk you can’t help but want to get close to. Stevie is such a cutie with her pastel hair and spunky personality. The two together? And flirting and trying not to be together? I swooned over the peephole games and play fighting. I really enjoyed this funny, crazy addictive page turner.

Well I couldn't wait so this book had to be bumped up my reading list and I was happy with Helena yet again..I loved my Pucked series, loooooved it. So when I saw that Helena had a new hockey series I was definitely going to jump and read and so far my friends so good. In this one we have Rooks sister whom we met in A lie for a lie, and I liked her then, but loved her here and was happy that she didn't jump back with her cheating ex..Huh hated him. The first interaction with Stevie and Bishop ...more

This series is incredible! I might love this one more than A Lie for a Lie..and I really liked that one.
This one is about Stevie, a physiotherapist, and Bishop, a NHL player. What ensures between this two is magnetic.
The humor is deliciously naughty. The characters are out of this world. Storyline is perfection.
These are stand-alones but interconnected.
I highly recommend this one...well all of Helena Hunting’s books for that matter.

Plot~ 5/5

Overall rating-

I have to confess that I have not yet read the first book so I had no idea what I was getting into but I liked the blurb and have to thank netgalley and montlake publication for this amazing ARC of the second book in the brand new series.
I didn't think I would like this book as much as I did but I had it on "good authority" that the hero was a 'dick'. A 'lovable dick' but a dick none the less. Which in fact led me to start reading this as soon as I was approved and I was in for a

After reading A Lie For A Lie, I knew I needed to read A Favor for a Favor. I liked the little glimpses we saw of Stevie in the first book and the fact that I'd get to see more of Lainey, RJ, Kody, Alex, and Violet made me want to read this book so much more. I love Violet and she always says something that has me laughing out loud. It was nice to see Alex as a coach and I can't wait to see more of that. This book cracked me up. I laughed out loud numerous times and enjoyed this book way more ...more

First, let me state I am a Helena Hunting fan. I have read just about all of her books, and her Pucked series is a personal favorite. I have been so excited about this new series that is taking place in Seattle and the inclusion of some favorite characters from the Pucked series (Alex and Violet). We have already met Rook (RJ) in A Lie for A Lie, and this book is the story of his sister Stevie. We know there is some baggage with Stevie and RJ, mainly due to RJ's rookie behavior when he was still ...more
