This book is a solid 4 1/2 stars

I was captivated by this book. I started it this morning at six, I couldn't put it down until I read every word. I love how this author took a girl of bigger size and did her justice. Even when I found myself angry at Mick for his actions or the jerks in the story... like her sisters, I was engrossed and wanted more.

The only complain I have is how wordy

The Flynns are beginning to run together. Their stories are remarkably similar.

I'm posting my reviews in the order listed, but I read them out of order, and they stand up well--none of them hinges on any other.

Once again we have an unfeeling, anti-marriage/relationship man and an unassuming, self-conscious girl trying to get together. I began to second-guess the plot as I went. I think maybe it's a good idea to space these out over a month or so. That way each one feels fresh when y

I’m a glutton for punishment, what can I say? I hated Hank, but Mick had potential. I mean, at least he didn’t sleep with another woman to get Roni off his mind, but the emotional mindf*ck games he played were unreal. Roni did walk away, but came running back. Another doormat, another H who is falling for someone “not his type”, like that’s supposed to be so shocking because he’s had such great luck with the OTT plastic nasty woman that this author likes to create. Mick was at least less of a de ...more

This book was seriously on its way to being one of my new fave books...until about 3/4 in when it took an overly dramatic turn that was just a bit much. However! The majority of this book was so good that I’m willing to overlook it! I loved the witty banter between the two. I liked the friends first aspect. I enjoyed the dual POV. A couple of times being inside the heroine’s head was like being inside my own - which made it super relatable to me. All in all it was a super cute book that I’ll mos ...more

Now these two I loved

Yes, Mick was waaaay flip-floppy and sometimey, but they were so cute together, it really didn't matter. Roni was too cute. I loved her attitude, even though she was a bit too soft at times. Her and Mick's friendship was funny and sweet, it had hot undertones, but it was still innocent and flirty. They both went through it though in this story, and I'm sure both of them were tired of hospitals after a while, but it was all exciting to read.

Roni and Mick's story

Mick was kind of miserable and not looking for love. Roni was looking for love with the wrong guy. One drunken kiss in the back of a taxi sets the wheels in motion for a love that neither is prepared for. Can they learn to trust each other and realize what they have before it's too late? I loved their story, although at times, the two of them made me want to pull my hair out in frustration.

Flynn Family

I have enjoyed all the Flynn family books. Looking forward to Ed's story. I enjoy Ms Miller's writing. Good dialogue between characters.

A few words too many

Enjoyed the story. The leads made a cute couple. The villains a bit over the top. Still, a pleasant read. But one that didn't know how to just be done.
