Today is my birthday. I turn 29 years old.
The protagonist in my short sci-fi romp is also having his birthday.
He decides to buy a handgun for self-defense purposes. I'll leave it at that.
Spoilers are no fun.

This one was heavily inspired by my favorite sci-fi author, Philip K. Dick.
It's a little over twice as long as my previous short story.
I hope you enjoy it!
