This was an excellent story of the 2nd Ranger Infantry (Airborne) in Korea. These guys had such courage, heart and devotion. The general story is told first, of about three of their most serious battles, and then there are individual stories that each of the main characters told. Also, the book includes a list of all the members of their company and where they are now, if it is known.

Master Sgt. Edward L. Posey's book detailing the 2nd Ranger Company's service in Korea is enlightening. It is a little-none story of black troops who were specially trained. A good book, an interesting book, a good subject, but it was written a little dry, the author admits the daily reports had errors and human memory is flawed, but sometimes a little excitement a few errors help the flow of the story. Wish someone would take this book and write fiction based on fact adventure story.
