The bulk of the text focuses on linear problems, however a chapter extending the development of non-linear problems is also included, as is one on finite element methods for integral equations. Throughout the text the author has included applications to important problems in mathematics and physics, and has endeavored to keep the mathematics as simple as possible while still presenting significant results.
