A good read through or read-aloud for children. Pictures on each page spread.

Ages: 6 - 11

I thought this was well written, and I learned a lot about George Washington as a youngster. It was interesting to learn about his family and how he grew up. I think the pictures are nice too because they leave room for more visualization. This would be a good book for history class when they are learning about our first president or the Revolutionary War.
