We have Jensen Marlowe whose parents died, so she was raised by her Uncle who is cruel. He basically sells her to the highest bidder, that being Brant Mansfield. Virginian Levi North aka Hawk is looking for a expert horseman from England which Jensen applies for. Levi guarantees passage to Jensen assuming she is a male. I liked this book a lot. Scottie Barrett's books are always a guaranteed good read. She should write more.
