After their successful first album, the pressure for a perfect follow-up is crushing her creativity. Billie’s new songs and sound need an outlet, but she’s not just going to give them away to anyone.

A queer f/f hate to love story where an alt-rock girl has to help a pop star write songs for her new solo career after leaving her girl group. As soon as I read that description I had to read the book. And it really delivered.

I thought that the banter between the two main characters was really funny and I liked the chemistry that slowly built between the two of them. Their relationship progressed in a believable way. I thought that them writing songs together was an organic way to have them

This book tries to blend the following tropes: closeted music star, ice queen, & instalove. It had some good & bad parts, so I'm giving it a 3 rating.

Good story!

I liked the chemistry between Vero and Billie. Vero’s hurt and lack of trust due to a bad break up portrayed her as an Ice Queen. Billie was hard pressed to try and figure out how to reach her due to Vero’s squittishness . Ultimately, they started slowly trust each other and started writing the song they were supposed to write which resulted in the feelings for each other to come to the surface and the rest as they say is HEA. It was well written and characters were very believable.

Enjoyable, easy read & was on course for a 5* review when it just sort of ended. Reading on Kindle so assumed 10% left, but no, that was the first couple of chapters of book 2 - yea, it's a series, bet you didn't know that! -which seems to go back before end of part 1! Confused? You will be. Sad, as huge potential.

This is a very weird review, but it's honest.

So, being very into k-pop has propelled me to read copious amounts of fanfic that revolve around musicians, idols, producers, fame and lots of romantic tension. I found that I really wanted to read Undone as a result. The summary could be a fanfic summary, it was so good. An indie rocker and a pop star have to write a song together? Yes! Sign. Me. UP! (Added bonus, it's F/F)

It was a really enjoyable ride. Very fanfic-y, with only a few tropes that

Billie Rush is a singer and songwriter. Her band, The Shrikes, had a successful first album but two years thence, there’s no progress on the next one because her co-band-member-cum-co-songwriter, her sister, Domino has a writer’s block. Vero De Luca, daughter of a famous singer-star, Felix Lucas, has just quit her band, UltraViolet, and is about to launch her solo career. Billie is approached to co-write a song with Vero for Vero’s launch album. Billie is not sure she wants to do it, but ...more

Billie is a member of a 4-woman indie rock band and, together with her sister, writes the band's songs. But during a dry spell in their writing, Billie begins writing pop songs, not good for her band, but maybe more appropriate for Vero de Luca, a young pop diva who's recently left her girl group. Vero (a kind of Miley) is the daughter of a famous rock musician who's been popular since the '70s (a kind of Glen Frey). Billie agrees to work with Vero on writing songs for her debut solo album and ...more

very cute and sweet, i wish it was longer! the smut was hot and i wish there was more of it. some of the misunderstandings either were dealt with too quickly or too slowly. basically my issues with this are to do with how its paced but it was a fun time and a great romance.

Excellent Story!

This was definitely a good storyline. The chemistry between Billie and Vero was smoldering and well written. A peek into a singer/songwriter life was a welcome change. Bryce Oakley handled this one well.

I really enjoyed this story. I haven't read this author before but I will definitely be reading any other stories she puts out there. The dialogue flowed well, the story line was smooth. Just an all together good book! Well done!
