Two more females are still in cryotubes and Commander Breccan, along with quite a few morts, believes it's time to take them out of stasis. One of the women wakes up and she's pissed. Not only isn't she where she's supposed to be - she's pregnant! Grace was supposed to be in a lab, studying samples, trying to find ways to cure diseases. Now she's stuck on a space station with what she characterizes as 'freaks', the future mother of an alien baby. She's angry, bitter, and understandably upset. An ...more

I’ve never seen creatures like them before, but as a scientist, I’ve seen too many awe-inspiring things to discount them as figments of my imagination.

The fourth human female to be awakened from her slumber from within her cryogenic tube is ”The Uncertain Scientist”. Grace is none too happy to find herself in the company of ghoulish looking monsters and that she has somehow become pregnant seeing as she is a virgin. She is the only female th

The Uncertain Scientist is a beautifully unexpected and yet phenomenal journey of finding your place and basking in the love and hope and loyalty that pervades it. Nothing can take the place of finding home. That is the most precious discovery and yet it can also be the most elusive. Above all we must fight for what we need, and this need is one that every person has whether they want to admit it or not. Sometimes they need an extra hard push to see what is right in front of them, and sometimes ...more

I seriously love these Morts...and their aliens...but mostly the Morts.

Anyways...I have to admit that I was a bit apprehensive about diving into the one, excited as all hell as well, but wary because of all that went down at the end of The Mad Lieutenant. I knew how I wanted things to go, but as I am not the authors I had to cross my toes and trust that they would give me an amazing story no matter which path was taken...and I absolutely love all that happened in this on

This series continues to get better and better. It’s so layered and written so well. The world they’re on is a ruined one. The observations and comments made about what was done to it hits hard in our current circumstances. In the last book’s epilogue, we got a juicy snippet of Sayer and Jareth alone in their room after having their little secret bubble nearly popping with a new and perhaps unwanted new development. I was so curious a

Each time I’m transported to the planet Mortuus by K Webster and Nicole Blanchard, I swear up and down it’s my favorite and each time I’m left eating my words. They step up the drama, the steaminess, and all the alien fun, while adding more to the intrigue of the Morts.

Sayer, Jareth, and Grace... the most unlikely of triads but one I just can’t get enough of. Pregnant without the fun of getting that way, Grace is all book smarts and dominating female. Sayer, is determined to be everything to ev

This is book four in this incredibly enjoyable series. I feel that you could read the book as a standalone if you desired, but you will miss out on so much if you chose to do so. This series inhabits a complex world, has characters that are captivating and offers storylines that will melt your heart and make you think as difficult questions are asked. There is an overarching storyline that is being unfolded over the course of the series but each book focuses on its own main characters. All of th ...more

I love this series, and I really love Jareth, Sayer, and Grace's story. And it's not just because Jareth's name is Jareth, and I love Labyrinth or anything. The series is just wonderful, and it keeps getting better with each and every book.

So, Grace is one of the women who has been in stasis, but now the morts and other human women have decided that they need to take her and the other woman out of stasis. When they do, they find out that Grace is pregnant, it's Sayer's, and oh yeah, she's a vir

Rekking Loved It. Finally a girl!

The Morts decide to wake the last two females from Cyrosleep. What they weren't expecting was for Grace to wake up utterly pissed. She is very pregnant wondering how that occurred considering she was a virgin.

When she meets sweet Sayer she slaps him across the face causing Jareth to become defensive as he is in love with Sayer. Jareth in the beginning is very moody and feels threatened by the pull Sayer and Grace have for each other. And the pheromones.

Rekking awesome! This is the 4th book in the Lost Planet Series. It is a sci-fi romance. This is a standalone but I highly recommend reading all of them because you don't know what you're missing if you haven't read them yet, and it will help you understand who the other characters are (there are interconnected characters in each book). Let me tell you, it just keeps getting better. I thought the first one was my favorite, but this surpassed my expectations and is now my favorite out of the 4 bo ...more

This series just keeps getting better and better! I've been looking forward to this story ever since the epilogue at the end of Mad Lieutenant. This book did not disappoint. It was everything I wanted and more. At the beginning I loved Sayer the most. He was so kind and gentle. Always trying to do the right thing. By the end of the book I loved Jareth more. Who wouldn't love an alpha-hole with a hidden sweet side. Grace, well Grace was decent but honestly she's not my favorite female. She defini ...more

When it is found out Grace is pregnant with Sayer's baby, these two have no idea what will happen with their coupling. Can they keep their love together and let it grow? Alternatively,

Seeing the teasers for this book had me worried. I was worried Jareth was somehow going to be left out but I should have known Nicole and Kristi wouldn't do something like that to these Morts that I have become obsessed with. Before reading, I didn't think I would want them to all be together but after, it could not have been written any other way. Grace, Sayer, and Jareth were just meant to be. The Uncertain Scientist by K Webster and Nicole Blanchard is book 4 in the Lost Planet Series. This is the story of Grace and Sayer and Jareth. Awwwww yissssss…this book went exactly the way I was hoping.

If you’ve been following along with the series, you’ll remember that we were left on a major cliffhanger at the end of The Mad Lieutenant. Grace has been woken from the cryotube and discovers that she’s pregnant…with Sayer’s baby.

And we literally just found out that Sayer already has a mate. A male mate, Jareth.

Bow chicka bow bow, and naturally a triad is formed. But it’s not an easy road to get there. Grace is forgivably bitter, as her

I'm not going to say who will be her mate, but I promise you, everyone will be shocked with the outcome as it will create strong family and affection.

When I think this series couldn't get any better, it does with this book!

This might be my favorite book in the series! The story fit in so well with all the other books but also gave the series a little something extra!
