I have loved the Sullivans for what seems like forever. From the moment I discovered this family of overachievers to the present, Bella Andre was at the top of my favorites list. She engages your senses while laying claim to your emotions. All while making you smile and maybe even shed a few tears. I continue to be captivated by the legacy that is the Sullivan Clan. From San Francisco to Maine, New York and now London these characters continue to put a little love in my heart. As Long as I Have

As we start down the newest Sullivan Road, I can’t help but wonder where Bella Andre will take us. She has a way of taking us places that we’ve never been but hope to be someday. On to London or should I say Elderflower Island and this time with a strong, sexy and now British Sullivan. Who can resist a British Sullivan?

Mari was such a treat to read. She is smart and determined but disappointed that she never got to know her father or the reason for his leaving. Being in his home and the

I’ve been reading the Sullivans series ever since the first book came out and so when I heard that Bella Andre would be writing another spin off series I wasn’t really sure what to think. After all, she’s done so many already, what could make this one special?

However, when I learned that this series would set place in London, England, my curiosity was peaked. So I found myself more eager to try this new series and I’m so glad that I did. AS LONG AS I HAVE YOU is a refreshing breath of air. It

Family, the centerpiece of all. Being in love with the Sullivan family it was great to meet a new branch, the London Sullivans. Owen and Mari discover they are each other’s one almost immediately. Their connection over her deceased father’s bookshop and subsequent reopening create a lasting bond. But will this bond to him and his family cost her her own family? While this is a great book I hoped for a greater explanation of the familial connection between the London Sullivan’s and the

I am so excited to read about the Sullivan’s again. This part of the family lives in London. I felt bad for Mari as she hasn’t seen her father since she was three years old, and her mother kicked him out. Mari has always hoped he would get in touch with her. She could never ask her mother anything about him as her mother can’t stand him. Her step father has been wonderful to her and she has an older step brother Carson that she loves.

Mari is told her father has passed away and she has inherited

This was a sweet read and pretty much what I would expect from Ms Andre.

As Long as I Have You moves us across the pond to meet more of the extended Sullivan family and focuses on Owen, the oldest of 5 siblings. Owen is easy to like and falls completely into the Sullivan model of being a “fixer” with a slight shadow over him (very slight in this case.)

He is paired with Mari, an equally likeable heroine who is stronger than she appears at first. Add in Owen’s siblings and the tight knit

This is a really sweet book. I loved feeling the character’s emotions. Felt sad that Mari didn’t get to see her Dad before he died. Loved how great a friend Owen turns out to be, and how helpful his whole family is. I actually cried when his grandmother met Mari. But will her Mom understand she may not return home? That she wants to run the bookshop? It’s what she’s always wanted. It’s a very heartfelt book. Loved the ending and how it sounds like Malcolm’s story is next. I voluntarily read an ...more

EEK!! The Sullivans are back!!! I was so excited when I heard that the next Bella Andre book to be released would be another Sullivan Series book. I was even happier when I heard it was going to be the 1st book in the London branch of the Sullivan family, and I couldn’t wait for it to hit my kindle. I first fell in love with Ms. Andre’s writing when The Look of Love (San Francisco branch) the very first book of the Sullivan series was recommended to me by a friend. I have been hooked on Bella ...more

A love-at-first-sight story that's also slow burn, As Long As I Have You is a fantastic spin-off series starter for Bella’s London Sullivans. How can I not love a book that has the heroine’s dream of owning a bookstore come true? That’s my dream too and reading how Mari accomplishes everything along with falling in love with the amazing Owen Sullivan has me smiling and sighing while I read it.

Bella’s Elderflower Island seems so real, I’m convinced I want to visit there someday. Can’t wait for

It sure would of been a star or two more in ratings if Owen's running mental dialogue wasn't cheesey insta-love. More Hallmark than anything.

I also disliked Mari's mother who just could not forgive Charlie. I don't mean that I took ratings away for it but it actually improved my approval of the story. You have to have some dysfunctional juicy characters in any book.

I visited London three times. I'd go again because I missed so much....stuff that this book mentioned reminded me of that.... more

This book was utterly charming! I loved Mari, hated how things started out for her, but going to London changed her life in so many ways. She found out her father really did love her and found ways to always keep her in his life. The legacy he left her with the shop and the people was great, but the books...OMG what a treasure she had there! I also loved that Owen was there to help Mari from the start and how neither of them jumped into a relationship. So when things got physical with them they ...more

I give this book 5 stars. The storyline between Owen and Mari was well worth reading and well written. They have a great chemistry. You will love this book. I whole heartedly recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Readers Copy of this book.
Mari has recieved shocking news, but also shows the reader to not put off plans or dreams. Owen gets to help and in return gets advice on how to start let go of guilt and begin forgiveness of himself.

"She had been hurt, but she wasn’t at all broken.

She had been sent into a difficult situation, but still seemed full of hope.

Hope. It was such a fragile thing, yet so damned important."

Through the whole reading experience so many great lessons are covered. Mari gets to know her father through their

This is the story of Owen Sullivan and Marina Everett (Mari) and it is fantastic! Mari has been living in California, working as an accountant at her father’s practice when she gets a call that her biological father, Charlie, has passed away and left her everything. Everything includes his bookstore and flat on Elderflower Island, a suburb of London, that he escaped to when her parents split up when she was 3 years old. She never heard from her father after he left when she was 3 and over the ...more

When I found out there were more Sullivans in London, I was over the moon to meet the newest part of the family. I loved As Long As I Have You from beginning to end and have to say Bella Andre gave her readers another winner is the first London Sullivan's book.

Okay now I want to add Elderflower Island to my must visit list, of course it's really based on Eel Island on the Thames is London. The way that Ms. Andre described it transported me as if by magic. The bookshop was described in such detail that it made me want to own one.

The story is Owen Sullivan and Marina "Mari" Everett's. She is an accountant at her stepfather's firm but she longs to own a bookstore and to visit London to reconnect with her birth father. Unbeknownst to her, he opened a

Bella Andre is known for her sweet romances. I love reading her because she leaves a smile on my face. She writes great family and wonderful relationships. This new Sullivan Book, for me, at least, was different. As Long As I Have You was even more for me and will definitely rank in my top 3 for her.

As Long As I Have You starts out when Mari, our heroine finds out her estranged father passed away. This hit home for me as my father, who I had not spoke to in years and left my mom and sisters and

London Sullivans # 1
Bella Andre

Welcome back to the sexy Sullivan’s. This series including the whole extended family from the first story was great, and I love a family series. As Long As I Have You, is full on instalove, literally from the first glance between Owen and Mari. I actually found a song that reminds me of this story so much I found myself listening to it over and over. Check out London Boy from Taylor Swift…

I’ve read a few other Sullivan family books and they are all good. One reader stated it perfectly, it takes you away from reality for a few hours. The author has a great way of detailing the characters to be wonderful, loving people and always have that love ever after. Before they get there, they always have a hard time doing so. This is the first in a series of the Sullivan’s in London and a beautiful, fictional place Elderflower Island. The way the other describes it makes it a beautiful and ...more

Too Perfect for Words

I really enjoy Bella Andre’s books so I was looking forward to the London Sullivans series. “As Long As I Have You” is Owen Sullivan and Mari Everett’s story. It’s the super sweet Boy Meets Girl entree with a heaping side of Insta-Love that will instantly clue in your dentist that you’ve been binge eating desserts. I’ll forego a synopsis and tell you what I liked, what I didn’t like, and why.

We've all come to know and love this large Sullivan family. Aunts, Uncles, cousins, siblings...well you get the picture. We've followed this family around the country and now, we're headed to the London branch of this very prolific family!

Owen Sullivan manages his grandmothers literary career. He's all in with her after a health scare, and he takes the blame for not getting her help more quickly. When a neighbor and friend, Charlie Forsythe dies, and leaves his bookshop to the daughter no one

Bella Andre’s introduction of the London branch of her Sullivan family is a sweet romance set in an English village. I’ve now added this area of London to my vacation bucket list.

Mari Everett has never really known her father, who left when she was 3 years old. Now an adult and working as an accountant at her stepfather’s company, Mari discovers that she has inherited her father’s bookshop (that’s British for “bookstore”) on Elderflower Island, an island in the Thames.

As Long As I Have You is Bella Andre's newest Sullivan novel and this one takes us to England for the British branch of the family. As always, it makes the reader wish they had a Sullivan of their own. It opens with Mari receiving a phone call telling her that her long estranged father had died and since there was no will, she as his only heir is now the proud owner of a bookshop in London, Elderflower Island Books; the apartment above the ship; and a small amount of cash. Needless to say, she's ...more

I’ve always wanted to visit London, now I have seen it through the eyes of Owen and Mari. What a wonderful trip it was. I love the sweet, immediate, acceptance of attraction that both Owen and Mari experience upon meeting one another. They don’t fight it. They embrace it and that made for a lot of the appeal for me. So many times the characters fight it or make decisions for the other thinking they know best. This was an awesome change of pace.

Mari Everett had two dreams that she wished for. One was to own a bookshop and the other was to reconnect with her father who lived in London, England, and left her at the age of three. She receives information that her father has died and that Mari is the sole heir to his estate and bookshop. Mari leaves California and travels to Elderflower Island to claim her inheritance, to find out about her deceased father, and his life on Elderflower Island. I was really glad that we didn't lose that strong sense of family and friendship that comes along with the Sullivan clan. US or UK, the Sullivan bond is strong.

I felt badly that Mari did not get to know her father as an adult. While it was really sad, it was nice she had some memories of him. I loved the way Mari embraced her adventure and made it a reality. I liked Owen, and felt their connection. His support of Mari's plans and dreams were sweet.

I didn't get any feelings of intense passion

Bella Andre knows how to write romance. A reader can't go wrong with As Long As I Have You. It might be love at first sight but the author has a way of taking the now and making it WOW.
I am so stoked that I get to fall for another Sullivan family, even better I get to go home to England without leaving the comfort of my chair.

Mari has been a little lost since her day left her at age 3. She dreams of one day going to England and seeing her dad, discovering the why's. One phone call closes that

As Long as I Have You is the first book in the London Sullivans series. It gives the Sullivans a fresh start—outside of the USA—and the setting and characters do feel a bit different, which is not bad, but I gotta admit I did not feel the same connection with this branch of the family as I did (do) with the other branches.

For starters, the hero and heroine's relationship was sweet but I did not feel it developed much even though their story does end with a HEA. The story has a strong focus
