Jill Cooper is the co-author of the website www.LivingOnADime.com and co-author Dining On A Dime Cookbook and Penny Pinching Mama.
As a single mother of two, Jill started her own business without any capital and paid off $35,000 debt in 5 years on $1,000 a month income. She then raised two teenagers alone on $500 a month income after becoming disabled with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
This book had some good money-saving ideas in it. Some of the situations did not apply to me personally, but overall it was a good read for some ideas on saving even more money.
Not a plan to get debt free--just a bunch of frugal ideas. The ideas are pretty great, but they are also available in several other books they have written. I'd probably pass on purchasing this if you have Penny Pinching Mama and Dining on a Dime.
Haven't started this one yet so looking forward to it .. hoping to learn some new tips .. can you tell what my focus is lately?? Oh well, times are tight and I just thought I'd see if I could find any new ways to save some .. can't hurt, might help ..
