Granados tells wonderful, pointed, and earthy stories that allow the reader to exist momentarily in the lives and hearts and minds of Latinos in El Paso.

I met Christine at Squaw Valley. She's a fabulous writer -- raw, funny, courageous. I loved this collection of short stories.
