He's the last one standing... So they sent the best one to break him.
Lucas
Love is for fools. I left all that wuss shit behind, and no fairy-like, smiling godmother will change my mind. I’ve got enough on my mind with a beta pushing my buttons and a town to keep safe. Never mind these urges inside me surfacing again, when I thought I’d buried them for good.
My wolves are falling in amore like bowling pins, and no amount of reasoning will make them stop.
Now the last one's gone over the moon, and they all expect me to be the last to love.
Only they've got another thing coming.
'Cause the only way I'm falling in love?
Is over my dead body.
Monica
One more job, they said. One tiny thing I have to do, to bring the prodigal son back home in the warm arms of his beloved family. They said it would be easy. They gave me all the tools. But the minute I'm facing Lucas, I know all those plans have just failed. Burned, thrown out the window, type of failed.
Those onyx eyes see right through me, and I fully expect he'll throw me out on my ass. So why is it he's suddenly more interested in getting me in bed, rather than thrown out? And what happens when I fall for it, but it’s too late to stop the events I’ve set into motion?
*Book IV in a paranormal shifter series filled with werewolves of all kinds, feisty females who stand up to them, and enough suspense to make it interesting.*
Alexa Whitewolf is a fiction writer, newspaper columnist of daily issues and author of the critically acclaimed Moonlight Rogues shifter series.
Alexa has been a lifelong writer and first began creating other worlds and characters at the ripe age of 12. Growing up in the Transylvania region surrounded by epic mountains and a never ending stream of legends and stories was bound to create an overactive imagination. This shines through Ms. Whitewolf’s writing by creating worlds filled with unique folklore, life wisdom and plenty of furry creatures.
An avid traveler, Alexa writes under a penname and spends her days between an office job and writing, in Canada’s capital when she’s not flying somewhere with lush landscapes and plenty of hiking trails.
Her series focus on strong heroines, kind yet sexy men, fights of good and evil and the never-ending learning curve of humanity’s strong – and weak – points. Romanian folklore is intertwined with her writing, more notably in her shifter romance series, the Moonlight Rogues. Her other series draw on world mythology, such as the Avalon myth and Arthurian legend (the Avalon Chronicles) and Ancient Egypt (The Sage’s Legacy).
You can follow her blog at www.alexawhitewolf.com/blog or on social media. Her column in Observatorul also tackles various issues, including health, technology, and a writer’s life.
The stronger they are, the harder they fall, but the last person Lucas should be attracted to is Monica, who was sent on a mission to bring him home to the not-so-loving arms of his father. Seriously, he doesn’t even believe in love or the weaknesses he thinks it creates, just look at his pack, all wrapped up in their mates. Lucas needs to be strong for his pack, his town and besides, happily ever afters only happen in fairytales.
Monica was promised, do one more job for her alpha and she could go free, but nothing prepared her for Lucas or the explosive chemistry they created. How could she fulfill her duty without hurting the man she was falling for or shredding her own foolish heart?
Alexa Whitewolf’s LAST ONE TO LOVE is sexy, fiery, filled with turmoil and some pretty nasty daddy issues that come to light in a huge way as Lucas’s true nature surfaces and he is forced to concede that no man or beast is an island. I absolutely loved Monica, she is the complete package, tough yet soft, brilliant, strong and definitely a match for Lucas’s alpha ways.
As always, Alexa Whitewolf includes the whole pack, piles on some clever humor, daring and deadly action and just the right amount of sizzle! I have to say, I didn’t see this one ending quite so perfectly! Highly recommended for those of us who need a good alpha wolf fix!
I received a complimentary ARC edition from Alexa Whitewolf! This is my honest and voluntary review.

Last to Love is the final book in Alexa Whitewolf’s Moonlight Rogues series, although it is not the end of the world we were introduced to. For lovers of the series, there is more in the future in the form of spin-off stories.
Although there is more in store for fans, Last to Love brings the wolves’ stories to a wonderful conclusion. With just Lucas left standing, and the interesting snippet we were given in the origin stories, it was clear we were in for a great read.
As always, Alexa Whitewolf brings a lot to the table. Once again, the story combines multiple mythologies to create a story that grips you throughout. In a supernatural world with plenty to offer, everything Alexa Whitewolf introduces you to has you sucked in deeper and wanting more. With things you know and unique twists, there is a lot to keep you engaged.
Last to Love, however, is more than just a great supernatural story. It’s another great romance, guaranteed to have you falling in love with the characters. It shows a lot of growth for our main character, along with letting us see more of the characters from the prior books and how their stories are developing.
Without a doubt, Last to Love is a great end to the wolves’ arc. If you’ve enjoyed the prior books in the series, you need to read this wonderful conclusion to the Moonlight Rogues series.
Last To Love was SO MUCH MORE than I expected! When it ended I wanted to just sit and start the series all over again!!
This is one of those stories that you can't get enough of. These characters are totally made for each other. Their story is one of those that absorbs you, has your heart tingling and you become obsessed with them. Actually it’s the same for each book in this series.
Lucas, who is the main character in this book, has always been my favorite of the wolves. Although I do love them all! He is a STRONG Alpha, and comes from so much turmoil in his past that he has never come to terms with, and he has started losing control gradually through the series. Well in his story it is time for him to face the past. ALL THE FEELS FOR EVERYTHING HE GOES THROUGH!!!!!
Monica is from Lucas’ fathers pack, although she wants out. She is a fiery woman and when she and Lucas come together, it is HOT!!! I came to really like Monica as her story is told. She is drawn to the pack, especially Lucas, and she wants the kind of pack relationship that they have. Lucas’ father sent her there to bring Lucas home. But she doesn’t realize his true intentions until it’s too late.
This book wrapped up the series so perfectly. This is definitely a favorite series for me!! It’s a different kind of werewolf story, with more than just werewolves too! Read the series, especially if you enjoy a really good paranormal romance with lots of action and mythology. Be sure to start with Moonlight Rogues: Origins, it is a novella that introduces each wolf and where they come from, geographically and their tumultuous past.
ONE TANTALIZING ADVENTURE!!! Leaping lizards! Alexa drops the bomb and lowers the boom, controls the passage, riding roughshod, wielding this jewel together fluidly. Mastering the ups and downs, weaving a cocoon so intricately and tight, drawing you deeper into this tangled web until nothing else exists. Struggling with the drama, intrigue, turmoil, danger and suspense spirals, thrusting this baby into the eye of the storm, blasting it into a tailspin with stunning impacts. Trudging through the trials and tribulations along with a slew of sharp twists and tight turns that thrusts this bad boy to whole new level. The attraction and chemistry sizzles from the pages alluring and mesmerizing, until you feel the electrifying hum running rampant, through your veins. The characters are authentic and genuine with depth and qualities that blend into amazing personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and colorful descriptions so rich and lively, they blend and flow smoothly. Remarkable job Alexa, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
What an end to the final book in the series, and of course she saved the best for last. I loved Lucas from the start and knew there was so much inside of him just waiting to bust out...literally. I wanted to strangle him through most of the book due to him being stubborn, as he is, but I love him through it all. I loved getting to know Monica too. It definitely takes a tough one to be able to handle him but I feel she is up for the job. This book will make you want to laugh, cry, scream, and rip your hair out, all in a good way because of the emotions the author can pull out of you as you read. Now I will be impatiently waiting for the spinoffs so I can get more of them, even if its just little snippets woven into the pages.
I received this book for an honest review. FINALLY!!!! Lucas' story! And it was AH-MAZE-ING!!! I was starting to develop a serious dislike for Lucas. This book brought it all together though. I started to love Lucas again. His history of trauma made his current actions. Lucas holds himself back from those he loves in order to protect them. And it finally makes sense. The details about his relationship, or lack thereof, with his father clears the picture. Lucas is a complex, nuanced guy and his denial of the depth of his feelings for Monica made me just want to hug him and say it's ok. I think this was my fav story of the four. The trip some of them made was harrowing and the return of older, long forgotten characters was fun. I really enjoyed this series and recommend it to all.

This is a brilliant ending to this series. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. I can't believe this is the end of this wonderful series it was really enjoyable reading them all! Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Alexa Whitewolf’s “Moonlight Rogues” is an excellent paranormal shifter series, where elements of paranormal fantasy mix, romance and shifter lore that brings the whole genre to a whole new level by delving into real mythology, which not only give the characters a credible background but offers a whole new set of information based in real traditional history.
“Last to Love” is the fourth and last book in the “Moonlight Rogues” series, and finally, we get to know Lucas story in depth, Lucas the pack Alpha, for whom every member in the pack comes first, even if that means putting himself last. The pack is what it matters, and love is just for fools, right? right??? After seeing his pack members falling like puppies, there is not way Lucas would ever let himself be that vulnerable, appear that fool, seriously the guy has everything worked out already… and then Monica appears with the task to bring him back to his cool father’s pack, and only for that he should despise her… but he just can’t. Monica and Lucas go together like fire and timber, despite Monica’s good laid plans and Lucas’ conviction about love, their chemistry and attraction is immediate, and they can do absolutely nothing against. The strongest fall hardest, and even harder if they fall last. Lucas’ Italian background offers – through the addiction of lore and myth - new insights into Lucas character. An excellent conclusion to an already amazing series.
Alexa Whitewolf writing style is excellent, smooth, crisp and entertaining, with a very well-crafted world and wonderful characters and an abundance of real myth and folklore elements that give highly interesting background story without overshadowing the action and romance in the stories. A captivating lecture from cover to backcover.
What a conclusion to this unbelievable series. I am so sad to let these alpha males and their feisty mate go. This story is full of suspense and folklore. It kept me on the edge of my seat. And of course could not put down until the end. Again love conquers all. I am looking forward to Tutus and Declan's stories. I highly recommend this series to shifters romance aficionados. Enjoy!
Mr tall dark and grumpy finally me his match and I love her! I think a part of me was always a little grudgey and Lucas because him and Dom would butt heads. As well as he always seemed so cold and stand-offish. Now we finally have the reasons he was so cold. And maybe he’s not so cold anymore. Monica is awesome. And though I’m sad to see this series end, I’m glad there’s Tytus and Declan’s spin off to keep up with!
I'll be honest this is my least favorite of this series though I like Lucas a lot more than I used to be is definitely still my least favorite of this group. The Epilogue makes me want to read the Flaming Rogues series. I do wish Lucas and Monica (mostly Lucas) would've been less stubborn so we could have had a few more chapters with them being a couple.
I almost never say this but I wish the book would have been longer. She did a great job of wrapping up the story lines. I liked the ending just wish there was more in the last chapter a little more of the HEA before the end.
Yes I loved this pack, and will miss this world. I will be reading more from this author.
A good ending to this series. Loved the addition of the Greek mythology. Added to the story in a unique way. Really enjoyed these books, though doubt I will continue on with the Tytus’ story.
It’s bittersweet to read the last book in the series. Last to Love bring the story of four shifters to an epic conclusion. :)
It’s Lucas’s turn to fall in love. Monica was sent by his father, to bring him back. He certainly didn't expect him to like her so much. After his mother and brother died, he closed himself off to love. And now she comes, sturring all those long-buried feelings.
She took the job in exchange for freedom. It’s supposed to be an easy job. Flirt, lie and convince him to come back. But she ends up falling for him.
Their relationship starts with lies, and it takes a long time for trust to form. But by then his father is done waiting, he sends people after him and takes him back home. He is held prisoner and finally finds out his true destiny and what his father wants for him.
It’s time for him to take things into his own hands.
I love his story, there is so much mythology & I loved it. :)
