“I come from a long line of matriarchs and I am a truth teller in accordance with the laws and traditions of our Big House,” Jody Wilson-Raybould testified in front of the House of Commons Justice Committee. From Where I Stand is proof of this.

This book is a wonderful compilation of many of JWR's speeches. They are challenging, thoughtful, and beautifully written. If you are interested in Canadian politics and Indigenous reconciliation, you need to read them.

A collection of great speeches and thoughts. I can’t help but be left with the feeling that we will achieve reconciliation in Canada. I’m inspired.
