I would call this book romantic suspense with some brother's best friend, mixed in with a wild Irish family. It makes for a fun story.

Bridget McGuire comes from a strong Irish family, where she is the youngest sibling, with her fiery red hair and her equally fiery personality. Bridget has been in love with her brother's best friend, Eli, forever. Eli is an FBI Agent and Bridget is a deputy for the local PD.

Bridget gets into a little trouble with a case that Eli is working on, which draws them cl

4.5 Star review of Book’em Bridget (Iron Badges#2) by Danielle Norman

I was intrigued with these women after reading Badges Prequel and Book’em Sadie and now having read Book’em Bridget I am even more invested in this group of woman than I was before.

Although this is a stand alone I would recommend reading the first two books as it fill fill in some of the background.

This is rookie cop Bridget McGuire and the man who sets her on fire FBI special agent, Eli Gray’s story.

Having had a thing for Eli

The first thing that always hits me when I start a Danielle Norman Book, is the beauty of the female friendships she writes about, strong, intelligent women who first and foremost are best friends, and would do anything for each other, they certainly don’t need men around to look after them, but they do have their uses, as well as look pretty.

Bridget is a newly qualified rookie cop, after years of working the phones at the station whilst her friends were out and about catching criminals, Bridget

This is the second book I've read by Danielle and I am really enjoying them. This one was really funny and cute and I loved figuring out everything along with all these crazy girls!!! And I am going to go back and read book 1, even though this can be read as stand alones. And I hope the other girls in this group of friends get a book!!! Because they are all so crazy and out there but all so perfect together in that friendship that everyone wants but not everyone is lucky to have. And don't forge ...more

Norman gives women something to be proud of. Book'em Bridget is proof women are more than window dressing. Bridget is a fighter. She has the courage to speak her mind, the strength to follow her heart and the guts to push back against the bullies of the world. That spirit lands her in some sticky situations and Eli tends to be the most sticky of them all. Bridget is about to learn that there are some situations where vulnerability can prove to be as powerful as the greatest of strengths. Spicy a ...more

Eli and Bridget were everything! Just when I couldn't love Danielle Norman more for her characters she pulls this book. I absolutely love this book! If you are a fan of the author this book is another amazing rendition of women who are strong and still get the man!

As always Danielle Norman delivers her signature strong sisterhood and friendship story with a kickass heroine with a badass hero. Book’em Bridget was a great story dealing with some difficult and sadly all to real situations which we all wish were not happening in the world.

Bridget has secretly crushed on her big brothers buddy for years but has been the master of hiding her feelings. Eli the hot FBI agent best friend in question has been denying his own feelings too.

I love Danielle Norman’s world of iron: Iron Orchids, Iron Ladies, Iron Horse, and Iron Badges. I have been anxiously awaiting this release ever since the Badges Prequel was released and we got a wee taste of what was to come.

Bridget has big shoes to fill as her father and two brothers are already in law enforcement. When someone hears ‘McGuire’ is her last name, they automatically ask if she’s related to Pat, Callum or Aiden McGuire. I feel like a lot of Bridget’s story happened in earlier book

I just love this series. The author has once again given us a funny, suspenseful, romantic storyline with strong, sexy female characters in the lead. The gang, as the call themselves, is once again up to their crazy shenanigans in order to get their man (both the bad guys and the guys of their dreams). This is a very well written book and that had me glued to the pages start to finish.

Powerful friendships, dangerous criminals, and steamy age-gap romance.. this book has it all!! Book’em Bridget is my favorite book out of the Iron Badges series so far.

I loved the comradery between all of the different police officers. There are deputies, detectives, motorcycle deputies, FBI.. you name it, somebody was there. Friendship and family are some of the strongest bonds you can have with a person.. this book shows you that you don’t have to share blood to be a family.

Eli and Bridget were a wonderful couple. She just graduated from the police academy and stumbled upon a criminal that the FBI has been looking for. Unfortunately, when she pulls the man over, everything comes back clean so she has to let him go. When Eli, an FBI agent, finds out, he immediately calls Bridget and demands that she come and talk to him.
She has secretly been in love with, or at least has had a crush on him, for years. He also has been interested in her, but because he is best frie

What a rip-roaring series! Once again Ms. Norman has titillated her readers with the ninth installment of the Iron Orchids and giving them Bridget’s story. Bridget is a recent graduate of the police academy and is following her family into the business of law enforcement where her two brothers serve and her father served. When beginning her employment, she winds up at the right place at the right time but due to a lack of communication misses a chance to make a huge collar. Unfortunatel

This was definitely my favourite Iron Badges book so far. I absolutely loved Bridget and Eli <3

Danielle has done a brilliant job with this book. She has given us a romance that you are cheering on from the beginning, witty banter, strong women that don't give in easily to the alpha males dominance and a suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat even though you have an idea as to which way it will go, you want to know how it will play out.

I absolutely adore these Iron Badge lad

Laughter. Emotion. Strong-willed women. This book has all this and so much more. A must read by Danielle Norman.

This series is one I always love with everything I have. This author always manages to make me laugh, get emotional and feel so happy by the time I turn the last page. This book only makes me want more from her. She has created a gang of girls who are more than friends. The way they interact, joke, cuss and help each other is amazing. Danielle Norman then gives you men who love these

Book Two of the Iron Badges series, and its just getting better! Bridget has been in love with Eli since her brother brought him home, the only issue... he's her brother's best friend and treats her like a little sister. As a new deputy Bridget feels she has a lot to live up to as she is a McGuire and comes from blue blood. Eli has had feelings for Bridget since he first met her, but she is his best friend's little sister and that's a line he didn't want to cross bu

Book'em Bridget tackles a pretty dark topic for the suspense but with so much wit and humor, the book doesn't take on the dark tones it could have. Bridget and friends remind me a little of the Stephanie Plum series minus the over the top clumsiness and sheer luck involved in that series. This one is a little over the top in some things, but it's also loads of fun. The romance between Bridget and Eli seems to happen very quickly, and I had to remind myself that these two have had an attraction f ...more

I just love Danielle's books, and this one was no exception! Bridget has had a crush on her older brother's friend, Eli, since high school, and learns after graduating academy that the feelings are mutual. Of course nothing goes smoothly as Bridget finds herself in the middle of a trafficking investigation involving both Orange County and the FBI, specifically Eli. The hysterical antics of Bridget and her friends is present throughout, amongst the steamy romance and suspense. We get some time wi ...more

I love reading Danielle Norman's books! They are always so interesting, unusual and have very feisty women characters! I enjoy so much all the banter, the wonderful friendships, the family atmosphere between relatives and non-relatives! The books are always hard for me to put down until the end. This story was perfection! I loved that Bridget and Eli got their happily ever after without a lot of unnecessary angst! The suspense in the book was very well done also....just The r

Really wishing I could give more than 5 stars. While I always love a Danielle Norman, and the Iron Orchids/Badges ladies are always kick ass.... Bridget is something else.

Love her passion for life, her job which is a many year dream realised and of course her man Eli. But the greatest is her "not a gang's" passion for each other. If only all women had a group of friends as great as those Danielle writes.

Naturally this story is full of fun, hijinx, passionate sex, drag queen mayhem, firey Irish

Book'em Bridget by Danielle Norman is book in her Iron Badges Series. Every book is about another couple and can easily be read as standalone. For best reading experience I recommend to read the books in order. The previous book is Book'em Sadie.

Book'em Bridget is beyond amazing. I love Bridget. A cop's life runs in her blood and it shows in this one. Bridget is amazingly strong and resourceful when it comes to catching the bad guy. I love this series and how kicka$$ the ladies all are. Bridget is feisty and had such an amazing tight net family and friends. She will make you giggle and yell go girl out loud. Bridget, who was previously a police dispatcher (in Sadie's book) is now graduated and a deputy on that same police force. Eli, her brother's best friend who is also eight years older then her gives her a gift and a note wanting her to call him for dinner. Did I mention he is also a FBI agent???

Sexy, fun, and suspenseful.

This is such a good book. There are so many great scenes. The movie festival was so fun. The make- up was awesome. It was amazing that Eli didn't quite know Bridget. Her friends support her and play along. I really like the Iron Ladies. They are there with the information and also to protect Bridget.

I love Bridget's Ma and Da. They are a hoot! They are the center of the family. Their wisdom keeps everyone stable.

I just can’t get enough of this author and her writing! The camaraderie amongst the characters is amazing. I love how Bridget’s family is so over-the-top protective of her being that she is the baby of the family. But don’t let that fool you because she has a steel core and knows what she wants like joining the police department and following in her dad and brothers’ footsteps. While she is meeting and exceeding her goals in her professional life her love life is lacking because she has had a m ...more
