Such a totally sweet and enjoyable story! It is a bit nostalgic returning to McKenzie Ridge and having the quirky Granny Lou play a large part in this new story, but this town wouldn’t be the same without her!

I enjoyed Fiona’s stuffy demeanor when she first gets to town. She appears quite snobbish, but her surroundings and the local critters soon knock her attitude down several notches! I love the menagerie! Each one has a special circumstance as to who/why they

St. Klaire never fails to impress me with her stories no matter what type of book she writes. She has an uncanny knack for knowing exactly what will get your funny bone or work it's way into your heart. Her characters are someone you'd love to know in your own life and her plots are always different and fast paced.
Christmas in July was hilarious from the first page (oh my gosh, the car scene!) and kept me flipping pages to see what misadventure was going to befall Fifi next.

This was a delight to read! Being back in McKenzie Ridge was like visiting old friends, especially Gran Lou Shaw. I loved seeing how "Holly Weird" Fifi slowly and hilariously finds her childhood roots again after being a Hollywood mastermind. Bain, the funny and yet devilish Vet was the perfect counterpart to her.
These two had so much spark, sizzling chemistry and snarky banter. I loved their back and forth. But, what happens when a secret Santa gets involved? Do these two find a way to make t

Not my cup of tea, but fans of Hallmark movies will love it. I’ve heard about Stephanie St. Klaire’s McKenzie Ridge series and was ready for my introduction in this novella. Most of the characters were very quirky and Fifi needing to help plan the town’s Christmas in July celebration was an interesting twist to keep the big city girl in the small town long enough to fall in love.

Bain is a small-town vet who takes care of most of the animals in McKenzie Ridge. Fifi/Fiona is a Hollywood set designer, who spent several summers at her grandmother’s home in McKinzie Ridge when she was growing up. Some of her best memories were made in McKenzie Ridge. Bain has taken FiFi’s grandmother’s barn, and turned it into the perfect location for his veterinary practice. It has large enough rooms to accommodate a variety of animals, and he has set it up so that he can stay there for ext ...more

Fans have been dying for more from Mackenzie Ridge and this novella certainly delivered. I adored this novella about a woman who has to decide what to do with her grandmother's property in Mackenzie Ridge. Come to find out she has to carry on her grandmother Dee's legacy of being the town Christmas festival chairperson. Her short stay to put the house on the market just got longer. Fifi works on Hollywood films so she can handle yet about anything. Her first encounter at her gram's house might j ...more

Fifi Gallagher returns to McKenzie Ridge to settle her grandmother’s estate, she finds herself toe-to-toe with...a buffalo, and a variety of wild animals. It seems her grandmother was allowing the town Vet to live, and board and keep animals on her property. Fifi doesn't know what to do with this range of animals.

The handsome, Doctor Jensen Bain — aka silver fox — finds himself standing toe-to-toe with the infamous Fiona “Fifi” Gallagher straight out of Hollywood - threatening eviction. Doc use

What do you get when you mix a mountain country vet with a somewhat stuck-up Hollywood set designer, add in a menagerie of animals, including some llama drama, an injured Jane Doe and a lethargic sloth, and top it off with a Secret Santa admirer? Why you get the perfect Christmas love story – in July! Fifi and Bain strike sparks off each other from the very beginning, but not in a good way. Their back and forth dialogue is loaded with snark and sass and is delightful and extremely funny. In fact ...more

I can never resist another visit to one of my favorite towns, McKenzie Ridge, Author Stephanie St. Klaire’s fictitious town! This spinoff novella features Fifi (Fiona) Gallagher and veterinarian Doctor Jensen Bain, (who Fifi’s grandmother never told her about), as well as a gaggle of unique animals. From the very beginning the two butt heads, especially once she says she is selling Grandma Dee’s house…where Doc’s recovery barn is housed.

When your birthday falls on July 25th & you love all things Christmas, there's no better book to curl up with than Christmas in July by Stephanie St. Klaire. I'm a sucker for a good romance, but I have to admit, I fell in love with the animals in this story long before I committed myself to Doc Bain & Fifi! If you've ever had an animal bring you a "gift" then you know both the deep sense of loyalty of an animal & the disgust of the human having to do something with said "gift"! But s ...more

Fifi (Fiona) Gallagher has come back to McKenzie Ridge to go through her grandmother's things and put her house on the market.

She's very surprised when she arrives to find that the very handsome veterinarian Dr Jensen Bain is living on the property and has his practice set up there. Also living there are several animals including a buffalo, opossum, turkey and her old childhood cat, Missy. Fifi's introduction to each of these animals is absolutely hilarious.

This sweet novella is a return to the Small town of McKenzie Ridge and its fun charismatic characters. Grandma Dee has died suddenly while her only granddaughter Fiona(FiFi) is out of the country. Fifi returns to McKenzie Ridge with plans to sort out her beloved Gram's home and sell it and return to Hollywood and her design job there.
Being "home" reminds her of her hopes and dreams when she was young and Gram's town was a place to escape to and live out her idyllic life. All of Gram's crazy and

Hallmark Christmas worthy story hands down! I'm not sure how Stephanie makes each book she writes better than the last one, she's definitely a truly talented author and woman! You will absolutely love Christmas in July!! Fifi & The Vet

I was absolutely thrilled to read, A McKenzie Ridge Novella. Written by the amazing, Stephanie Saint Klaire. Such another fantastic tale which I couldn’t simply put down once!

As Fiona (Fifi) Gallagher had arrived back to McKenzie Ridge in order to see over her Grandmothers farm. I simply enjoyed her hilarious meeting as she met these very different animals. When she suddenly saw this attractive male veterinarian, Dr Jenson Bale, who is

I love Stephanie St. Klaire's McKenzie Ridge Series, and this additional novella was quite the treat. I love the characters, the world Stephanie built and best of all the way the town rallied together to celebrate Christmas in July - when tragedy struck.

From the very start, Stephanie hooked me into this novella. When Fifi came home to take care of her grandmother's estate, the last thing she needed was complications - Or a Sexy - doctor who happens to be paid in chickens and casserol

First off, I LOVE being in McKenzie Ridge! These people are some of my favorites, not to mention there is never a dull moment. When Fifi arrives, she is definitely NOT used to small town living, and appears almost snobbish at the beginning. I felt like this was totally how someone would act coming from the "big city," though. After a while, and some interesting encounters, she begins to realize this may not be all that she thought it would be. Meeting a vet from a small town, Fifi has no idea wh ...more

This book has classic St Klaire humor and heart. I started laughing as soon as Fifi aka Fiona started with the cheese and rice comment, and that’s even before the buffalo starts breathing on her neck and nudging her behind. When she ever starts talking to Dallas and says mommy won’t let it hurt you and I realize she’s talking to her pet sloth to her first encounter with Doc Bain all I did was chuckle. Doc Bain is easy going and taking care of an interesting menagerie of “challenged” animals and F ...more

It was so much fun to head back to Makenzie Ridge and visit some old favorite characters as well as meeting a new one. Fifi returns to town to settle her grandmother's estate and she is met with the menagerie that lives there with the local vet, Doc Bain. They rile each other up but could that animosity be covering the chemistry and attraction between them?

Fun ensues as Fifi takes over organizing the Christmas (in July) festival. Spitting llamas, pregnant cats, a sick toothless sloth

How sweet it is to return to McKenzie Ridge and I LOVED that Granny Lou was at the helm of all the craziness lol. From the first page until last, I found myself laughing out loud and falling in love with Fifi and Doc Bain. These two start off like oil and vinegar, or more accurately, a match to gasoline. They are always explosive when around each other and their banter can only be described as foreplay.

Christmas in July is a sweet, fun and humor filled novella about Fiona (Fifi) and her return to McKenzie Ridge after the death of her grandma Dee. When she gets there she finds out so much about her grandma and the life she lead in McKenzie Ridge. Loved getting to meet all of grandma's quirky friends, the fun, farm animals and especially Doc Bain the local vet who lives on Grams farm. Wow, what can I say about this little gem..... it's a laugh out loud rom-com of epic proportions. While a quick read it's so much more than it seems. So let me give you a few hints:

Fifi from Holly-weird
Silver Fox - Bain the mountain man
Grammy Dee is dead but still manages to run everything
An overly friendly buffalo
A transvestite depressed sloth
Mama llama drama
Hammock hogging wonkey donkey
Literally a secret santa

A fun, laugh out loud visit back to McKenzie Ridge. Fifi is there to settle her grandmothers' estate when the townspeople have her planning the Christmas in July celebration. This book has it all stuffed into a novella. You've got your Buffalo, a donkey that likes to nap in the hammock, a possum with no teeth that's bffs with a handicapped turkey and a crazy llama. Add in a handsome doctor, a secret admirer, and lots of food and you'll have a great time in McKenzie Ridge. A lighter side to the t ...more

This was a fun quick read. It was great to go back to Mackenzie Ridge and read more about the people there. They are quite the quirky group! Loved Lou, she is quite the hoot and knows everything going on in town. It was great for Doc Bain to find his match. Fiona or Fifi wasn’t necessarily happy to be back in Mackenzie Ridge but she started to fall in love with all the crazy, odd animals that town seemed to have. It helped that those animals were cared for by Doc Bain and were located on the far ...more

Christmas in July was the perfect summer read. It combined all the things I love from Stephanie St Klaire. Humor, romance, McKenzie Ridge, a little mystery, and a super steamy session.

Fiona and Doc Bain had a connection that was so obvious to others, but not Fiona. I adored seeing Doc Bain in more of a leading role. Seeing how he worked with the animals was so enjoyable.

Mystery love notes from "Santa" left Fiona torn between her hurried life in LA or a relaxed life in McKe

I loved this cute little book. Bain is such a good man and an even better Doc when it comes to his animals. He does so much for the town and his friends. Fifi at first just wants to deal with her Gram's stuff and go back to LA. Things have a way of changing. I loved everything about this book! Loved all the animal love. Enjoyed the few appearances of the MacKenzie couples from past books. Stephanie St Klaire never disappoints with her books. They are all amazing and just keep getting better and ...more

Christmas in July by Stephanie St Klaire was a very fun and quick read and addition to the McKenzie Ridge stories!
Fifi and Bain are total opposites, at least at first.

I loved watching their relationship and friendship develop, and ADORED reading about all of the different animals and people coming in and out of the house/barn to visit.

The book was a ton of fun to read, and progressed really well from start to finish.

Welcome back to McKenzie Ridge. Fiona, aka Fifi is returning back to McKenzie Ridge as her grandmother has passed. She is greated by a buffalo. It appears her grandmother has a number of wild animals now living on the property. Fiona does not care, she just wants to sell and get back to Hollywood. Grandma Lou has other ideas for Fiona. Helping on the Christmas in July festivities is priority.
It appears Santa has a crush on Fiona. Who could this Santa be? Will she leave McKenzie Ridge or find he
