My 4th grade teacher is friends with the author & read all of her books to us after lunch every day. This was my favorite one because of the supernatural elements involved. I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Estes (and her daughter who is pictured on the cover) & she signed this book for me! Great series for middle school kids.

This book, along with several others, was part of my childhood collection that disappeared one day, rather ironically. I kept my eyes open for another copy for years and finally found one.

It was just as good as I remembered it, my only complaint being I wish it was longer. I enjoyed it as much now (in my 30s) as I did when I was a kid.
