This anthology is packed full of stories where there is maybe an HEA, but if there is, it's not the one that you expect it to be.
Missy Ann-Forbidden Queen.
Ummmmm... Wow. Shaw and Leonie's story takes some twists that I didn't expect it to. Shaw is sneaky and evil in all the best ways, and in some of the not best ways. I like Leonie, but I feel very sorry for her because of her parents.
Within These Shadows-B. Celeste
Dark and disturbing. I mean, seriously both. Totally fantastic. Loved every single word in it. I really want more of this story because I think that the protagonist and POV are bloody fantastic.
Bittersweet Beauty-Elizabeth Cash
Oh, Elizabeth Cash, I may have to hate you! I'm not entirely sure. I need more Beck, Jaxson, and Bishop. Luckily, I'll get them. Sadly, I have to wait. I'm not sure that's fair. I feel like I'm being teased.

OK, did I think that I hated Elizabeth Cash? Sorry, not anymore. Now I'm pretty sure that I have to hate Anna Edwards, because, well yeah. It was a very twisted story. I thought that it was going to go one way, but yeah.
Bite Me: The Cursed Evil Queen-Emery LeeAnn
I have to say, I wasn't expecting the main character in this one to be who they were. The fact that they are that person just makes it all the more better.
The Deadly Hunt-K.S. Marshall
The way that this one went was just wow. I really thought something would be different with this one. It felt different. I can't tell you why that was, because I should've known better because of the rest of this book, but...

I have to admit, I had a particular song going through my head this whole time I was reading this. I might have watched too many Disney movies, but what can I say. We're being teased again with this, and I can't wait to see how it is going to end up.

One day his wayward uncle Hades reaches out and offer him a job. This simple acts opens the door to a beast that won’t be put back in a box.
Secretly pining after each other from afar, both men fight the urge to covet what should be wrong. Then as fate would have it they are brought together as stranger at Hades Playground, an elite fetish club, and the rest is history.
I could have spend an entire series within the walls of this club. I wish Hades Playground could’ve be turned into a series similar to Cole Denton’s Club Oxygen with CL’s taboo twists.

I'm not even sure where to begin with this review.......this was an incredible collection of stories by amazing authors. Each brought there own awesomeness to this Anthology making it an absolute must read. I can't say which story I liked better because I truly loved them all. Bite Me by LeeAnn Emery was a bloody brilliant twist on Snow White. Unfortunate Souls by Michelle Brown has me looking at The Little Mermaid in a hole different light. And the other books were page turners as well

Dayuuum. I did not see Forbidden Queen going that way. Hot, fast, and completely twisted. Yet I need more of Shaw.
Within These Shadows is an amazing start to something they could be truly awesome! I hope there is more for Wolfe.
Bittersweet Beauty has left me begging for more. Beck, Jaxson, and Bishop are going to have a hell of a time it seems. I think Bishop has more heart and will be more motivated. So basically read this 🤣 cause you gonna want more
Dama De Diablo is sensual as well as dark. I loved every bit of it. Ruella has me so damn curious of who she was and who she is now.
Talk about steamy, grab your little (or big? 😉) friend, sexy! The Toy delivers steam like you wouldn't believe. PLEASE tell me you are making this into more Anna Edward's?
Deliciously evil, Mala brings us a new take on an old classic. I prefer this version as well. Not only is she evil, she embraces the deep darkness in her. Nothing and no one will dictate her life.
The Deadly Hunt leaves us begging for more after we meet Simeon and Ava. They meet under sinister reasons. And I loved every bit of it!
Ooooo LOVE, LOVE Wish! Nadir and Jesse are fecking hot together! I really need to know what happens next!
Where's the fan at in here? Holy shit Batman. Hades and Ender are going to melt your panties off. Hot, quick, and dirty. The only way to go!

Oooo Hellfire is a good start to what looks to be a promising saga! Esme, Quinlan, and Frollo had me begging for more! Can't wait to see more of them!

Editing my review to add the novella, Wicked Lady T by T.L. Mayhew. OH MY GOODNESS! Wicked Lady T is not only wicked, but naughty, naughty, naughty! She's got two spoiled sons that she adores and a used, abused stepson who she delights in taunting. Lady T has plans for her stepson, but will those plans get carried out? or perhaps changed a bit by her sons? or by her? You'll need to jump into their wicked world to find out, and we're all going to need to have more, more, more of Wicked Lady T and her sexual shenanigans! A quick, steamy read...don't miss it!

The Underneath by CL Matthews
Oh so hot! I think I could read a full length novel about these 3 men. I love the forbidden factor. With it being so short you don't have the chance to REALLY get to know the characters, but they were super intriguing to me. Their back stories are totally something I would be interested in.
This absolutely made me want to get and read the whole book! Great quick read!

What an amazing anthology! Heres the break down for each story.
Forbidden Queen
Holy Crap, this anthology starts with a twisted little story!!! Talk about family drama. The one grabbed my attention and twisted my mind to pieces while it all unfolded.
Within these Shadows
B. Celeste is a new author to me and I'll be checking out her other books for sure. This story was crazy good. It will bring out a whole new meaning of mommy dearest after your finished with it.
Bittersweet Beauty
Oh my, what did I just read?!? This is a twisted little mind blowing not so sweet love story! My head is still spinning on this betraying little gem of a tale.
Dama De Diablo
Holy flesh peeling hell!!! This little story is going to dark one wrapped in disturbing revege. Ruella is a boss! Just went it starts getting to the good stuff, it ends!!! No, I need more!!!
The Toy
Bella, betrayed from the beginning of this story. Rook, theres more to him then meets the eye. He appears to be an abducter or maybe he's a rescuer hidden in disguise. Just as I was getting hooked on this tale, it was over!
Cursed Evil Queen
Mala, the cursed magical dark queen who seeks revenge. Don't cross her as she takes no issue in dishing out the most brutal and painful punishments without a second thought. I devoured this Evil Queens tale so quickly.
Deadly Hunt
This hired to kill story was amazing. Simeon a hired hunter, a paid killer. He enjoys his contract job, until Ava. I wasn't to attached to Ava at first, then things take a curve and bam it ends!! I need more of this story.
Wish
Another amazing story and I'm torn on who to trust. I need more of Nadir and Jesse because Ive fallen in love with their characters and can't wait to see what's to come.

Holy freaking crap!! Talk about all the heat packed in this one. Enders and Hates melted the pages! Mind blowing heat, just the way I like it!!
Wicked Lady
Wow, Wicked Lady T is not only wicked, but she's got a dirty little naughty side also. I very much enjoyed this little wicked world. Another amazing steamy short read!

I'm usually not a big fan of stories from this time period, but I really fell for Em's character and story in this one. Revenge and a kickass female lead...yes please!!!

Short but not so sweet tale. I'm a huge fan of Michelle Brown's books and although it's short, its freakin fantastic!! Ugh that explosive ending!!! I need more!!!

I need more of this one like right now!!! This sounds like a perfect start into an amazing series. It hooked me right from the start and has left me begging for more. It has a bit of everything from amazing characters to all the action in between.

This was a absolute fan-freakin-tastic book of short stories some with HEA and some to be continued by different author's some that I'm familiar with and some that were new to me, but "Wow" what a book.
Forbidden Queen by Missy Ann
What a great 1st story to start thing's off. This is by a new arthur for me and I loved this story. The arthur had me following right along to only grab the rug out from under my feet. I did not see that ending coming.
Within these shadows by B Celeste
This was a dark and a bit disturbing kind of story which had me reading more. I love those that have you looking over your shoulder stories. I'd love to read some more of this.

I have recently started reading her book's and this lady talks to my dark side very well. This book wasn't quiet like her other stories. but it sure was dirty naughtiness of all kinds of proportions, so maybe it is like her other stories ha. All I know is this story was really good.

Unfortunate Souls by Michelle Brown
Vanessa is back for one reason and that is vengeance. Do not mess with this woman because you won't win. A twisted tale where nothing is as it seems. I loved this story Vanessa is a fascinating character. This has the potential to be so much more and I'd love it to be a full length book.

The Something Wicked Anthology was an amazing collection of stories that left me with so many new dark and twisted reads I can't wait to continue. I enjoyed the spins that each author put on their stories and the spellbinding webs they wove with each new addition.
Forbidden Queen by Missy Ann
My first read by this author and this was a great introduction. I enjoyed the pace of the story and how it kept me constantly trying to work out Shaw's plan for revenge. I was left speechless at the end by a twist I never saw coming.
Within These Shadows by B. Celeste
Enjoyed this dark and twisted little taste of this story. I was quickly riveted and left hanging on the edge of my seat needing to know how the rest of this story plays out.

I loved this twist on Beauty and the Beast. This delicious and a bit twisted tale was somewhat of a tease and I need more of Beck, Bishop and Jaxson's story. I was hooked from the start and am eagerly looking forward to seeing how their story ends.

Within These Shadows by B Celeste
Alright, this story is interesting and intriguing AF. Although the story was complete, sort of, I wouldn't mind reading at least a novella of it. This is so good in a creepy, mysterious, ruthless kind of way.

This is an amazing prologue to a re-telling of Beauty and the Beast with a revengeful twist. It was very engaging and I cannot wait to read the rest of the story!

This was a fantastic collection of stories by a great assortment of authors, some new to me and some I already enjoy. These stories are dark and suspenseful, some more so than others. They're all well written and give you a great taste of the authors.
Forbidden Queen by Missy Ann - Shaw and Leonie's story had some unexpected twists and turns, I really enjoyed it. Shaw was very intriguing.
Within these shadows by B Celeste - Quite dark and twisted. I couldn't get through this one fast enough. I really hope there's more from Wolfe.
Bittersweet Beauty by Elizabeth Cash - This was a take on Beauty and the Beast, which is always one of my favourites. Beck, Bishop, and Jaxon's story is silled with jealousy and betrayal. I need more them.

There is always that love/hate relationship with anthologies. I love that these novellas are short and not mind consuming, but when you hit a good story, it always seem too short.
Something Wicked Anthology
consists of a collection of 14 deliciously dark tales from different authors. I only know one out of all the authors, so I was excited to meet so many new authors.

Within These Shadows by B. Celeste – This mysterious and suspenseful story was utterly captivating. We follow the monologue of Wolfe. I had no idea where I was heading but I was pulled deeper and deeper into the story by the enticing words. This is a wicked thriller and definitely not a romance novella.
The Underneath by CL Matthews – I absolutely loved this highly taboo MM novella. I was surprised and amazed by the author’s talent in delivering such a well written and developed story with so little words. There was enough backstory of Hades and Ender which added to the taboo aspect of their relationship. The BDSM part of the story was hot and I can really feel the control and submissive nature of the characters. It was definitely a delicious taboo treat!
I’ve read two of the stories so far and the rest look promising. I’m looking forward to finishing the collection and discovering more talented writer. If you are looking for something dark, wicked, and quick, this anthology would be a great choice.

Unfortunate Souls – Michelle Brown – 5 stars
WOW! Michelle Brown killed me with this piece. It kept me on the edge of my seat; I was not prepared at all for the levels of twists and turns. This author’s diabolical mind truly shone in this piece. I desperately want a full-length version of Unfortunate Souls, one that will delve deeper into these characters because I know there’s more to the story. It’s a fascinating read that I highly recommend. 5 stars for a truly wicked and mind-blowing read!
Hellfire – Ally Vance – 4.5 stars
Ally Vance had some good twists and great shading with character development in this piece. I didn’t get as invested in it as I wanted though. The ending lacked some excitement and tension for me and I’m hoping that a full version brings out more of those emotions. It needed just a little bit extra but still a solid beginning to a story.

This piece grabbed my attention from the beginning. The plot was interesting and engaging. The best part is the fact Murphy Wallace delivered some major emotional impact inside this short story.

Ally Vance had some good twists and great shading with character development in this piece. I didn’t get as invested in it as I wanted though. The ending lacked some excitement and tension for me and I’m hoping that a full version brings out more of those emotions. It needed just a little bit extra but still a solid beginning to a story.

This piece grabbed my attention from the beginning. The plot was interesting and engaging. The best part is the fact Murphy Wallace delivered some major emotional impact inside this short story.

I LOVE Anthologies, because it affords me the opportunity to discover new authors and all book nerds like me know, you can't EVER have enough authors to love! There's something for everyone in Something Wicked Anthology, making them very happy. Every story in here was fantastic, and while I wish I could pick just one, there's no way to do that since they all ROCKED! Each story is a fairy tale and/or legend with a wicked twist, so for those, like me, who love fairy tales will especially be super happy. For example, LeeAnn Emery wrote Snow White with her wicked spin on it, while Unfortunate Souls gave new meaning to The Little Mermaid. Bittersweet Beauty by Elizabeth Cash was a wicked play on Beauty and the Beast, and trust me, you'll absolutely love it. Nights on the Round Table is explanatory as Michelle Pace put her brilliant spin on the King Arthur legend. There are more stories pulling off that same EPIC vibe, but be careful, there may be one or two which has you singing songs from the actual Disney movies as I did, and I'm not even sorry. So do yourself a huge solid, and one click on this one of a kind Anthology that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Oh this anthology was so good and also so different from any other books I’ve read.
This book is entirely told from the villains POV. There were stories from authors I’ve read from before and a few new ones too. I read this book quite quickly but it could also be read a story at a time.
Each story was so good and I can honestly say that I enjoyed each one. However a few stood out to me and my favourite was probably The Toy by Anna Edwards, I’m really hoping she continues with this story as I’d really love to know what happens next. I also really enjoyed Within these shadows by B Celeste. She really has a unique writing style that can make you both intrigued and uneasy at the same time and yet her story really pulled me in.
I also really enjoyed Bittersweet Beauty by Elizabeth Cash who is a new author to me. And I’m definitely going to check out her other stories.
So if your looking for something wickedly different then look no further than this.

Review for The Underneath by C.L. Matthews
I have a love/hate relationship with anthologies. I love that I get the opportunity to read a book with so many different authors packed inside the pages - and most of the time there are several that are new to me whose book leads me down a rabbit hole of buying several others of theirs.
And then there is the hate side - they are sooooo short and I want to throw myself on the floor and throw a temper tantrum because I WANT MORE!!! C.L. Matthews did it again with her word weaving, ticking all the boxes of what I love to read...M/M, forbidden and TABOO :) Ender and Hades - soooo hot. The BDSM aspect was on point for these two characters. I want more though. I picture Ender in cat ears - because we all know how naughty and mischievous cats can be. He is the perfect push to Hades pull. I can see this relationship growing by leaps and bounds with so many possibilities. So Ms. Matthews, make me happy and give these boys more!!!

Hellfire by Ally Vance— 5 ⭐️ This story had many intriguing elements and characters to it. It was fast paced and easy to read and follow. The way all 3 characters mesh and clique is amazing. Add on a little dubcon and stalking to keep us on our toes. I’m anxious to see more of this story in the future.
Unfortunate souls by Michelle Brown— 5 ⭐️ A fast paced story that will keep you on your toes. It’s unpredictable at times but I couldn’t put it down. It’s sexy with a dash of depravity, which Michelle Brown nails every time.

Absolutely love anthologies. It allows me to dip in and out between bigger stories or ideal if I want to read but not get into a longer story.
This book was highly anticipated.. like seriously do you see the awesomeness in those authors.

I'm slowly making my way through these stories so I will leave my review about the two I've read.
The Underneath by CL Matthews - if you like everything taboo this story fits the bill. The chemistry between Ender and Hades was fire and the way the characters jumped off the pages is making me itch for more. Was happy to see that I will get my wish.
Hellfire by Ally Vance - this story was very intriguing. I loved seeing it from all three characters perspectives. This is the perfect start to what is sure to be a hot sexy taboo book.

Don't mess with Malissandra she is out for revenge in the most horrible way possible to the ones who wronged her and I loved her demented mind, dark and twisty and I couldn't read fast enough to see What she was came up with which was way cool. I loved it.

Esme a new girl in town has caught the attention of an Uncle and a Nephew stalker that had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen and their plans. Full of suspense and temptation and ugh I really want more.

Ok, Ender and Hades are like so hot together. Like literal fire. Like I was panting because the temperature was rising to devilish levels in my room.
I don’t read m/m often, but I was really into the mystery that surrounded Ender and Hades. They both have so much more to their story and my grabby hands are wishing this wasn’t just a short for the anthology!!

It is true when people say karma can be a bish. Any who… I loved the villain within the story. I sympathized with her. I understood her need for revenge and getting back at the people who did her wrong. There was one particular character within the story that was naive. She was naive concerning her environment and the people who live within it. I wanted to shake her and give her a true wake up call. But there was no need. The ending said it all.

Where is the rest? I need more! I can imagine this turning into a full length novel. I was a little confused when I started reading it but then, just wow. It takes some killer writing skills to give you shivers and the urge to run and hide within several pages. I have no idea what the message should be, but yes, I loved Within These Shadows!

I just finished Prick by Murphy Wallace and wow not quite how I remember fairytales, so much better. I love this short story it’s filled with so much revenge and spite, I couldn’t put it down.
These are the kind of fairytales I love, dark and twisted full of angst and revenge against the ones who did you wrong in the past. Loved it.
