Why Pray: Lessons Learned in the School of Prayer

Rate this book
Does God need us to pray? Can our prayer really change God's mind? Can't God do what He wants without us? So WHY PRAY? Since God is almighty and all-knowing, and since He is the creator and ruler of the universe, why does He expect us to pray? What is the purpose of intercession? B. J. Willhite reflects on Scripture and a lifetime of experience to teach about the why of prayer. You may know how to pray and when to pray, but do you know WHY to PRAY?

It took 6 weeks to arrive after I ordered this book (2nd hand, since no more new ones are being sold). This has originally been published in 1988, but the scenarios in it still apply in the current generation. It’s an easy-read for fast readers too.

While the book wasn't theologically unsound, unless you are new to the faith, it's not worth the read. I was hoping for more.
