The best work of fiction I've had the pleasure of reading in years! The talents of this author knows no bounds. His book is captivating from page 1. The succinct prose keeps the pages turning. A strange book. This may be a realistic portrayal of the inner life of a convicted murderer who is likely psychotic. (I wouldn’t know, not being a murderer.) The narrator is unreliable, though, so the story line switches around. Don’t read this if you can’t handle a bit of gore and a fair amount of confusion. The ending is probably appropriate, but not exactly satisfying. The writing is wonderfully free of misspelled words and bad grammar.
