Thought I was just going to leaf through the pictures but read the whole thing thru. really enjoyed it and loved the idea of creating vignettes. If I owned this instead of checked it out from the library would stick it next to Living a Beautiful Life by Stoddard and Living the Not so Big Life by Susanka and Sarah Ban Breathnac's books....

I bought this book in Palm Desert at an art gallery where Jane Seymour was presenting her artwork and this book. She signed it for me so it is special in that way. She shows you how to combine interesting color combinations with what you have and with paint and furnishings.

It's a nice relaxing time to spend "visiting" Jane Seymour 'in her home'. She has a lot to show you and talk about that will inspire you to create more of yourself in your own home. I like this book a lot.

I liked this home decor book, because she explains why she did what she did, and she have great taste, yet for her to make it feel like a home ans not a show place is fantastic too.
