Retired Navy SEAL and current private-security operative Ian Sawyer had never expected to have a child, much less a wife, but his beautiful Angie has changed all that. Her due date is only days away, and his anticipation outweighs his anxiety, thinking about holding his firstborn.

But as he’s learned the hard way, life throws curveballs at the worst possible moment. A frantic phone call in the middle of the night is the beginning of Ian’s nightmare. He has to wake his brothers and teammates, leave his wife’s side, and fly halfway around the world to save the only other woman who could bring him to his knees—his mother.

The time has finally come that we have all patiently waited for, the arrival of Ian and Angie's baby. Of course, Samantha A Cole isn't going to give us a hea without a little chaos first. It wouldn't be a Trident Security story without it. Will Ian make it to the delivery on time?

Tense from the start and full of suspense in one form or another, this story grabs you and tugs you in keeping you gripped throughout. It's a fast read but still enough to completely soak up the events taking place within the pages and still leave you desperately wanting more when finished. I love these characters and can never get enough of them, this is one I've been waiting for forever it seems. To have family and friends this close is something anyone would cherish, the support and love they have unquestionable, one call is all it takes to prove. Heart stopping and heartmelting story telling at its very best.

OMG! Samantha A. Cole did it again, she made me switch my favourite book boyfriend back to Ian!

Samantha is an auto buy author for me as her books tick all my boxes. I read the blurb and was ready to meet little bit and go rescue his Grandma.

Sam had me laughing out loud and my heart in my throat this was one of the sweetest action packed reads and I cannot wait for more.

I’d already pre-ordered the book but was offered advanced copy for an honest review.

Amazing and Joyful

This series has been an addiction I’ve been on since the beginning. I can’t rate Joanna’s books highly enough. Her take on the BDSM Lifestyle is second to none.

Watching each of these Seals find their one person has been a joyful experience. The ups, the downs the lot.

Seeing Ian and Angie at this stage, happy and expecting their first baby you think it’d be a joyous occasion. But when Ian gets a call that has him having to make a decision that could affect them both.

Angie understands and she knows that Ian will do everything within his power to back for the birth of their baby.

My god I was on the edge of my seat! I didn’t want to miss this experience but I also understand why he left. His mother is the other important woman in his life. Angie adores her and he knew she’d be the first one pushing him to bring her home safe.

It had the feels, made me teary that end scene. A must read if you haven’t experienced this series you need to.

Wonderful characters m. Addictive storyline’s. And the insite into the BDSM world is phenomenal. Forget movies made about it. They are not a true portrayal of the lifestyle.

Ian Sawyer has become one of my favorite characters out of all the books I've read. His wit, his humor, his devotion to everyone he loves and cares for is unique. While Ian and Angie are waiting for the birth of their first baby, Ian and the guys get called out for the most important mission they've ever been on.....to rescue his mother. I absolutely loved this short story because we get different points of view while the guys are traveling across the world to get their mom. Jake and Nick's point of view just almost made me cry!! I loved it and the hints dropped are ones I can't wait to see in future books. The whole story from start to finish was just awesome. And the ending...............well, I'm not giving anything away but that also made me cry and laugh at the same time. This is going to end up being one of my favorite stories in this series. We get to see Ian during a vulnerable time and how he handles trying to take care of the two most important women in his life. Just get the book, you'll see what I mean!!!

Ian Sawyer's worse fear is to not be there when his child is born. With one phone call Ian must find his missing mother half way across the globe. Will Ian and the rest of the team locate Marie Sawyer in time? Will Angie have the baby without her husband? Holy crap this might be a shorter length book but it certainly packs a punch. Samantha A. Cole weaves a tale of how much Marie is important in all of the operatives lives while giving her readers a glimpse into the future hopes and dreams of other characters. The perfect storyline to not only review the past but to look for the future as well. This book deserves more than 5 Stars!!

Once again we are taken into the world of Trident and the sexy six pack. It's time to meet the newest member of the family but not before the boys rescue there matriarch. I live the fact that we're very too see where Ian, Devon, and Nick get their traits from. I loved their mother. And just wait for the surprises we get while waiting for baby. Samantha is the queen of tease and she hints at things to come and delivers on others.

Loved this book. A novella so not as long as normal but still had everything packed in you'd expect from a Samantha A Cole book. Just as Ian Sawyer is gearing up for the birth of his first child, his mother is kidnapped. Will he get back in time for the baby and save his mother? Strap in, a bumpy ride awaits

OMG! I loved this book. The emotional roller coaster while reading is quite the ride. Samantha A. Cole simply has outdone herself. We see many familiar people while reading. I cannot wait to see what happens next in our favorite characters lives and what excitement is in store as we follow them. Happy Reading!

This is the continuing story of Ian and Angie of the Original Trident Series.

Torn in Half tells a story of how a man's resolve to be there for his loved ones is being tested. Torn in Half is a fitting title when Ian the main character has to choose between the two important women in his life. Who comes first? His pregnant wife who made his life worth-living or his Mom who gave him life and lovingly raised him to be the man that he is today. No one wants to be placed in a position where one has to choose. Making a decision is never easy but would he regret it if something happened to the person he left behind.

In this story, Ms. Cole sheds a different side of Ian that is rarely seen. Depicting Ian's vulnerability and inner turmoil is difficult. The contrast of strength and weakness must be balanced and she did hit the mark on this. After all, Ian defies the norm of what a real man should be. Ms. Cole certainly knows how to appeal to a woman's heart. A little bit of this and that makes it a well-rounded story. Let's not forget that she is a one heck of a researcher. She's one writer who will take the time to get her details right even under pressure. Given this, what's not to love?

Torn In Half
Trident Security novella 8.5
Samantha Cole
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was probably my most anticipated book of 2019, the birth of Ian and Angie’s little bit has played out for so long I’m so glad it’s finally here. But for Ian the birth plan will be tested when a midnight call comes from his father alerting him to the apparent abduction of Ian’s Mum. In typical Trident style it’s all about the saving the day, and using everything at their disposal, but add a heavily pregnant wife to the mix and Ian is well and truly torn on half… Save his mum, potentially is the birth of his first baby…

Ian is so badly torn, but Level headed Angie knows he needs to go. So off he goes to save the day but it comes with consequences. In a highly emotional story a vulnerable Ian and his family will be tested but it does comes with results… But another Trident baby makes it perfect. Ian has always been my favourite, and I love Angie’s quick Witt and smart mouth. Be prepared for your heart to race, your palms to sweat, tears to roll and a perfect ending…. you’ll need to read for yourself for all the goodness including the new TS baby.

We’ve waited a while for this book and the birth of Ian and Angie’s baby – girl / boy; all going well / all hell breaking loose – so many options. What no one expected was the kidnapping of Ian’s mother and a rescue mission that would see Angie possibly in labor and giving birth alone. Almost anything I write here is a spoiler, so this will be very brief. Ian was never my favorite of the Sexy Six-Pack, but this book has moved him up that list. It’s also, though, in the turmoil and the drama, a tender look at the older Sawyers, at the relationships of their children and how those are evolving, and a reminder that Trident is a unit, both Alpha and Omega, with a very welcome cameo from Mic and her crew, and, of course, Jackass and Sweetheart. While the teams are closing in on Marie’s kidnappers, there is pertinent drama back at the compound, with a reference to a very current issue in the indie publishing world – just to keep us awake and aware. This may be a short book, but it’s huge on emotion.

I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.

Trident Security is back!

This is a long-awaited novella from my favourite security company. We have been hearing tid-bits about Ian Sawyer and his wife Angie's pregnancy from various other novels in this series which is why I was so looking forward to this book. Ian Sawyer is back with his usual sarcasm and acerbic wit and boy is he back. As Angie's due date approaches he cuts back on his working hours only to be called away as the day rapidly approaches! Will he successfully complete the mission and make it back for the birth of his first born? As usual it is touch and go in this fast paced story with twists and turns. All the stops are pulled out and operatives from both the Alpha and Omega Trident Security teams come together with operatives from steel Corps and our favourite Demios couple. I've missed these guys and Samantha doesn't disappoint with this latest offering. Fast moving, well and accurately written this book is well worth a read. Ian Sawyer.... So good to hear the next part of your story!

Perfect!

Ian is not subtle so you KNOW any baby of his is will come into the world in dramatic fashion. Of course the beginning of the drama comes from Grandma being kidnapped.

Just enough action to keep the story Trident, but funny, sweet and tender too. Ian and Angie are a special couple in the Trident family and so glad they got this special novella. We also get a bit more of the Chuck and Marie story which is sweet and memories of John while sad, give more insight into their family.

The whole Sexy Six Pack is involved in the mission to rescue Marie so we get small glimpses of them as well.

Of course it all culminates in the birth of baby Sawyer. You will have to read it to find out - Boy or Girl - and if Ian makes it - but it is SO worth it.

I espeically love the moments between Nick & Jake. But I am biased as they are my favorite of the couples.

I received an advance copy in order to give my honest review.

OMG! I've volunteered to review this book. I love reading Samantha A Cole books. Ian is my favorite one of the Sexy Six Pack. This is a quick, easy read. While Ian and Angie is waiting for the birth of their child. Ian, Devon, and Nick had got a horrible call about their mother. Then both team Alpha and Omega had to fly around the world to go rescued her. This Will have you staying in the edge of your seat waiting. Will Ian and the rest of the team locate Marie Sawyer in time? Can Angie hold the baby off of coming out until Ian was back? This story has it all from love of a family that can be either blood related or working or serving together for years. I could not stop reading. I had to know what was going to happen to Marie. You have to get this one. I HIGHLY recommend this series. If you love reading about the Sexy Six Pack then this is a MUST read! I can't wait to read to next book in the Trident Series. Keep up the amazing work Samantha!

When life throws tough options at you sometimes you have to go with your gut instinct. With a wife ready to deliver their first child any day, Ian finds himself halfway around the world leading a rescue operation for the only other woman who could make him leave his very pregnant wife home alone. His mother. With a plot as complex and as simple as this get ready for the ride of your life as the whole Trident security team head to the Philippines to rescue the matriarch of the family. I'm not going to give away any spoilers but this book will leave you hanging on the edge of your seat and biting your nails as you wait to see if Ian makes it home in time for the birth of his first child.
I have been a fan of Samanthas novels since the very beginning and this latest installment makes me realise just how much I have missed the men of the Trident Security series and their spin-off brethren.

A Must Read

This is a fantastic book! Ms Cole has written a great one with the characters we love. This book has Marie Sawyer, mother of Ian, Devon and Nick, has been kidnapped in the Philippines and Ian’s wife Angie is due to deliver their first child any day. The Trident teams all head overseas to rescue Marie leaving the wives and girlfriends of the teams to worry and take care of Angie. Ian is not only tasked with saving his mother but getting home in time to see his child born. Marie is just as strong and determined as her sons and knows she needs to buy time for her sons to come and get her. I loved getting to see Carter and Jordyn, Mic and her Steel Corps Team, and all of the other characters from the books.

This story gutted me. For all those who have read every Trident Security Book and know how tough all the Sexy Six Pack are, this book showed how vunerable and caring they are when someone they love is hurt of needs them. Ian and Angie are anxiously awaiting the birth of "little Bit" when he is called away on what may be his most important mission yet; to rescue is Mother. Not only do you get to see what true love is in this book (from all the members of the TS teams) but you get to find out about Ian and Angie's baby. This is a definately a DO NOT MISS book!

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totallt voluntary review.

Oh my gosh once again Samantha brings us to our knees with this one.
Marie Sawyer, mother of Ian, Devon and Nick, has been kidnapped and Ian’s wife Angie is due to deliver their first child any day.
The Trident teams all head overseas to rescue Marie leaving the wives and girlfriends of the teams to worry and take care of Angie.
Poor Ian not only has to save his mother but he has to get home in time to see his child born.
Will Ian and his team be able to save his mom? How will he ever be able to make it home in time? Better yet is it a Boy or a girl?
August 23, 2019
I absolutely loved this chapter of Trident Security and Bossman Ian Sawyer! His Angel is pregnant and they are expecting their “little bit” at any time, of course then IAN gets a call and it’s all hands on deck. Both Teams and all the others as well. Samantha A.Cole has created a wonderful world where these characters represent honor and integrity above all. Of course they rag on each other a lot but The underlining love and respect they have for the people in their world is always shining through! This is edge of the chair excitement, laughter and drama all in one!

Holy Moly just when I think this series can’t get any better… Poof.. The author gives us a story full of action, thrills, suspense and love. Just wow. If you have kept up with the series you know Ian and Angie’s first child is due soon (as in any day now). To say Ian is a little excited and anxious for “little bit” to arrive would be an understatement. Seeing this Strong, Dominate man at his most vulnerable made for an amazing read. Throw in the fact someone has kidnapped his mother and he, his brothers and the rest of the team have to fly halfway around the world at the worst possible timing is nothing short of a cluster or as Ian might say a Twatwaffle of a Mess. But this is one mission he must take the lead on and pray little bit’s arrival to hang on just a little longer.

The storyline kept me engrossed from start to end. Who and why would anyone want to kidnap his mother? Would they get their in time and if so what shape would she be in by the time they got there? Would Ian make it home in time for the birth of his child? All the suppense, intertwined with the thrilling action of the mission, made for a phenomenal read. Kudos Ms. Cole for another wonderful heartwarming addition to the series. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Amazing Stars.
