This book was first passed to me by Cliff Penton when I was at Sophos. I thought it was a great read then, and it still is. But I guess it is a bit academic to ever really go down as one of the great business books of our time.

It's not an easy read , yet it's more academic with its models of process into R&D for corporate. Also it's a good book and very well detailed.
