This was a much better offering from this author than the one I first read. I enjoyed the fact that the heroine had been married before and now widowed, was able to move more freely within society and decide her own destiny to a point. Stormaston is an interesting and compelling hero and a good foil/match for Alexia. I enjoyed their attraction and romance very much. A pleasant read.

This was enjoyable to an extent. I really liked the characters, especially Lexie and the Duchess. Storm, however, was extremely annoying and grated massively on me. Overall, it was ok but the ending was rushed and a bit unsatisfactory as I didn't believe Storm would change his views on marriage in such a short period of time.
