This series just keeps getting better!!! Ford is a complex character and I appreciated seeing more layers of his personality, strengths, and struggles revealed as he undertakes a personal mission to rescue his twin sister in Russia. We got to know the dynamic between him and Scarlett in the previous book, Tate, so I recommend reading the series in order for full enjoyment and understanding. They have amazing chemistry that just increases in this book. I love how they support each other and bring ...more

Ford, the highly anticipated third novel in award-winning author Susan May Warren’s Montana Marshalls series, is a must-read for fans of adrenaline-filled, action-packed, swoon-worthy contemporary romance. The Montana Marshalls series has the perfect blend of romance, action, and of course, those handsome

Oooooh. I think this might be my favorite of this series so far. That is saying something because I loved Knox and Tate! But Ford. . . Ford was, wow! Intense, fast paced, full of danger, growing attraction and yummy kiss scenes. Yup, I had a hard time putting this one down. Maybe part of my extra love for this one was because I actually got TWO love stories in one. RJ (Ruby) has her own story going in this book running parallel to Ford's as he tries to find her. In Russia. They eventually inter ...more

Ford is the third book in the Montana Marshalls series. After reading the previous two books I was eager to continue the series with Ford. While this book was different than the first two, it was still very good.

I loved getting to read more about Ford. The little tease we got of his story in Tate made me excited to read more and see how it went. I felt for the heroine right have things go the way they did for her was...heartbreaking at times.

All in all, Ford was a very good read. I do

This book is AMAZING! I loved it so much! I feel Sussan's books just get better and better. If you love mystery, romance, suspense, and just plain good and unique characters, this is a must-read for you. Ford and Scarlet are just perfect together and make a fantastic team. I was so excited to dive into Ford's story! I love these characters and the family dynamic makes the series all the more intriguing to me. Warren never disappoints on the suspense front; this book is jam-packed with crazy intense action that leaves you on the edge of your seat. From page one, I did not want to put this down! The romance was a bit heated for my tastes, and I found myself skimming several scenes. For that reason, I docked a star and a half.

Overall though, I enjoyed this

'Ford, you seem to think it's your job to save everyone. When did God step off the throne and put you in charge? The last time I looked, you were not the Savior of the world.'

The highly anticipated next novel in Susan May Warren's 'Montana Marshalls' series is Ford and it does not disappoint! If you thought Knox and Tate were good, wait till you get a gander at Ford! Hang on tight, because Ford will blow you right out of the water. This is one of Warren's most powerful books, in my opinion. It f
Ford is an extemely intense, action-packed thrill ride! This is the third book in the series, and I would definitely recommend reading these books in order so that you understand the overarching threat that is building throughout the series. As with the previous two novels, Ford contains both a main and a side story. Ford and Scarlett mount a rescue attempt for Ford’s twin sister, Ruby Jane. However, Ruby Jane (RJ) has her own story that begins developing in this book, as well. I really enjoyed ...more

Ford Marshall has been holding a flame for his co-worker Scarlett for a looong time. But he's not just a moment guy and she is not a long-term kind of girl. But maybe one last mission will be enough for Ford to convince Scarlett fear is not the place to live, and there are different ways to live for the moment.

That is, he might be able to convince her if they survive the mission of finding and rescuing his twin sister in Russia.

An intense rescue mission

Ford's poor choice when he was twelve haunted him his entire life. Drove him to reckless actions and had him isolating himself.

This fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat story has Ford dashing around the world in an attempt to rescue his twin sister, RJ. As he and Scarlett find themselves deep in Russia with fake passports and without the sanction of their SEAL team, they fight to save RJ and to get out of the country alive.

RJ wasn't at all what I was expecting. With the hints i

Ford continues Susan May Warren's excellent Montana Marshalls series. As the youngest Marshall brother, Ford has always felt the need to prove his worth, which led him to become a Navy SEAL. When his twin sister Ruby Jane (RJ) becomes the prime suspect in the assassination attempt of a Russian diplomat, Ford enlists his former teammate (and current love interest) Scarlett, and they head to Russia to find RJ.

A CIA analyst, RJ gets herself tangled up in an assassination plot and ends up on most wa

While I didn't enjoy Ford as much as the prior two novels, it was still a good suspense novel.

Seriously, I don't know how Ms. Warren does it. She is incredibly gifted at writing edge-of-your-seat tension, both romantically and otherwise! I was pulled into this story pretty much from the first page and then was only further hooked as I got to know RJ better. Because I have to admit that I came for Ford and Scarlett, but I stayed for RJ and York. (And now I have to wait so long for their story! Humph. ;)

Let's begin with the fact that most of this book takes place in Russia. What a harsh an

I think I’ve said this before, but with this latest book by Susan May Warren, it really needs to be said again. WOW oh WOW!
I wonder if I was ever a character in one of Susan May Warren’s books I might not survive. Her characters all go through so much, yet, they come out at the end of the story having learned so much. The cool thing is, as a reader, so do we!

Only one word to describe this unputdownable read and that is, WOW! This is my first Susan Mary Warren book and I am a fan! Ford is the third installation of the Montana Marshall Series. Though this is my first read of the series, I would have to say that it worked for me as a stand alone and I definitely will be picking up the other books as I cannot get enough of the Marshall family.

FORD is a thrilling ride of danger, subterfuge, and romance with inspirational elements weaved throughout. Fans of the series and genre will love this one!

I felt like the first two books in this series, Knox and Tate, had plenty of suspense but compared to Ford were tame. Ford just racks it all up a notch, both in the danger and suspense elements but also in the romance department. Lots and lots of chemistry, swoon-worthy moments that had plenty of heat without going over the line. The

"Who do you depend on?"

That's a question Ford Marshall will ultimately have to answer if he is ever going to allow his fondness for a certain Petty Officer to grow roots. Navy Seals are known for their survival instincts, and since Ford is determined to rescue his sister while renewing his relationship with Scarlett Hathaway, his lone wolf tendencies may need to undergo some serious tweaking; after all, Russian assassins play for keeps.

I do not want this series to end! Each installment is better then the previous, even though it seems like an impossible task! Oh my goodness, the action, the romance, the suspense, the emotions, and hot dog those swoony smooches. Phew! You probably need a fan while reading this!

As with previous books in this series, you really get two stories in one. Here we get Ford and Scarlett, and Ford twin sister RJ and York (which by the way, um hellllloooooo York!). There is never a dull moment here, as i

Susan May Warren has such a talent for balancing romance, intrigue, and spiritual nuggets in her stories. Ford is another installment in that category. Ford struggles with feeling like he has to rescue, to, in a way, control the outcome of a situation; he puts himself in the position of savior. But what happens when things keep going wrong?

I highlighted some deep Biblical truths that were presented as wise advice, questions, and internal conversations with God to apply to my own life. My favori

Yowser! This series is turning out to have everything a romantic suspense lover could ask for. With Susan May Warren, great romance and high-stakes suspense are a given, but there’s action, espionage, politics, world travel—you name it, you’ll probably find it in this series. And there are two books left to go!

You’ll definitely want to read this series in order, because Ford and Scarlett’s story starts in the previous book, Tate. As a result, I was totally primed and eager for more Ford and Scar

Ford by Susan May Warren is a thrilling contemporary Christian suspense that will have your heart racing as you follow the action. It is the third book in the Montana Marshalls series but can be read as a stand-alone. I however enjoyed catching up with familiar faces.
Once again the Marshall brothers continue to fight against corruption and rescue others. Their motto of no one being left behind continues. There is the theme of trust as characters find themselves stranded in Russia. Can the law en

Wow! This book is amazing. Full of non-stop action, heart-stopping danger, hot kisses, and wonderful spiritual awakenings.

I always love it when an author gives me two love stories in one. However sometimes in those books you really only connect with one of the two. Not so in Ford. I loved Ford and Scarlett's relationship as well as the snippets of relationship we get from RJ. The kisses were amazing.

I am loving these Marshall siblings. Ford is quite impressive. Of course he is a SEAL. I also lov

Oh my goodness...this is so much more than a cowboy book if that’s what you are thinking! Ford takes us from the US to overseas, SEAL team ops, to covert ops in Russia! It continues the search for who is trying to amp up Cold War relations between the USA and Russia. However, this time Ruby Jane Marshall is pulled into the mix when a trip to Russia pins her as an assassin. Ford can’t stop himself from going to her rescue, but even w

While I haven't read the first two books in this series, I felt like it didn't hamper my enjoyment of Ford's story! It would of been nice to have the background that the other two stories would of provided, since the stories do intertwin, but one can still enjoy this book when read as a standalone. I liked the different setting, that of Russia and going on a covert mission to rescue his twin sister, who just happens to have a big target painted on her. Warren does it again. A wonderful book.

Susan May Warren sure knows how to keep her audience begging for more. With family members and plenty of action and romance, Warren captured the Marshall family in all its glory and downfalls. I always think the one I am currently reading is the best than Warren comes out with the next book with more thrills and bullets flying. Ford is no exception. I really enjoyed getting to know Ford and RJ and watching how they interact. Twins are different than normal

I like Susan May Warren’s writing style: Serious, with characters who don’t take themselves too seriously. Her deep third person POV allows the reader to get multiple characters’ thoughts on the same situation, without either making breaks in the middle of a scene to switch POVs, or (even worse) switching POVs throughout a scene without any breaks. And she puts just enough detail into the military and foreign environments that someone unfamiliar with either (like me!) is able to appreciate the ...more
