Molly has everything she needs: a German Shepherd named Dolly and a plot of land to live out her dream life. Despite what the handsome — but slightly uptight — new neighbor may think, she’s perfectly within her rights to operate her canine day care business as she pleases. House-flipper Daniel has big plans for his newly-acquired property, and those plans do not include butting up against a quirky — but adorable — lady who seems to have more dogs than she can handle. This enemies-to-lovers story has a hard-working alpha male and a feisty, independent heroine whose story is full of furry friends, danger, surprises, and plenty of panty-melting heat. Get ready to fall in lust and then in love with Molly and Daniel!
Due to graphic sexual content, this book is appropriate for adults ages 18 and over, please!
Happiness is being surrounded by dogs and a Sexy neighbor,
This was such a sweet and wonderful read. It had all the elements I crave in a romance read. But adding in all the goodness that is Dogs and I was completely sold.
Molly lives on her late grandmothers ranch. She adored the old woman and has nothing but special memories of growing up there. When her grandmother left it to her in her will she knew immediately what she was going to do. A sanctuary slash doggy daycare is what she envisions. A place to take in abandoned and unwanted dogs.
Daniel also has plans for the ranch. He bought the neighbouring properties and is the planning a subdivision with a golf course.
Upon meeting Molly and her dogs he’s not sure what to think. There’s Terrance the dachshund who’s boarding at Molly’s, he’s a barker and a troublemaker. Dolly her beautiful German Shepard, a pregnant bishon who she recused from a puppy mill and a few others who are her whole world.
But seeing Molly and her love for these furry four legged hounds has him seriously rethinking his plans.
Throw in the danger from the redneck puppy mill breeders she brought down and you’ve got a story you can’t put down.
Oh. Did I mention our heroine and hero are virgins?
I will be reading this again I’m rating this up there in my top ten reads so far this year. It’s a big call but my love of dogs and the idea Molly has sold me. Hell I’d have been happy just to live out my life here with just the dogs. Throw in Daniel and it sealed it.
Daniel and Molly couldn't be more different, their values seemingly polar opposites. Molly was sheltered thanks to her parents, and it shows, as does her heart in her determination to provide a safe place for dogs. She hopes to expand at some point, though she's content with her life as is for the moment, even if she is a bit lonely at times. Whereas Daniel wants to improve the world in his own way, developmentally, and that includes acquiring the land surrounding his aunt's house, including that of Molly's late MeMaw.
When the two meet, neither like the other on principle, but the attraction is there. However, they continually rub each other the wrong way, even more so upon Molly discovering how little regard he has for the dogs.
But, you can't fight fate and it isn't long before they discover the beauty of compromise, and the fact love can overcome any obstacle.
One-click now and follow along to see if they're able to work through their differences and have a future together or if one of them must sacrifice their dream for the other to have theirs.
On a purely personal note, and this in no way reflects on the author but on my tastes, it took me a while to warm up to Daniel for a couple reasons. First, some of his comments regarding the dogs really bothered me and were a bit over the top, though I understand the point was to show how much he'd changed after meeting her. Second, he's supposed to be a virgin, yet a few of his internal thoughts, and him telling Molly he's one "technically," were confusing and contradictory. Overall, I enjoyed the premise and liked seeing how love changed both of them, each growing individually.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.**
I snagged this book right away and then it sat in my Kindle while life got away from me. But I read it one afternoon last month and fell in love with Molly and Daniel. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Molly is a Girl after my own heart. She’s from Texas, like yours truly. She loves dogs more than people, like yours truly. And she doesn’t suffer fools. She’s just inherited a property from her grandma and she’s turning it into a dog ranch which is my Dream. Then Daniel moves in next door. A house flipper. He wants to buy her property. She ain’t selling. And although she’s mighty turned on by the handsome man and his old fashioned manners, she’s not buying what he’s selling. No, sir. But they’ve got each other’s numbers. Big time. And a little push from one runaway dachshund, Daniel’s overprotective nature, and a homemade peach cobbler and these kids have no choice but to have their happily ever after. I freaking loved it and you will too. Seriously. Go get it. Now. 🤓on KU.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Molly is a dog sanctuary/rescue owner. She loves caring for dogs and has plans for her land. When Molly gains a new neighbour, sparks fly. Molly and Daniel don’t get along yet are insanely attracted to one another. The thing is, Daniel has plans for Molly’s land but will he gets what he wants as well as the woman he wants. The chemistry between Molly and Daniel is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I liked the edginess of enemies to lovers and insta love. I really liked the ending of this story. I liked that Daniel learned to liked the dogs. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.
Molly is fiercely protective of her furry friends and is doing just fine without a man in her life. Daniel is starting a new career of flipping houses (well maybe that's not the whole truth of what he's doing, you'll have to read the story to find out). He is not a fan of dogs and when he finds out that his neighbor is what he considers an animal hoarder he may have more problems than he can handle, cause she's also sassy, sexy and has trouble written all over her. This story is funny, angst filled and has some excellent characters. I truly enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it!
Molly just wants to run her Doggie day care from the home and land that her MeMaw left her when she passed away. Daniel just wants to flip houses in the neighborhood and put in a golf course right on Molly's land. Will these two clash or will they come together? Then there is the added danger of some thugs that ran a puppy mill. Will this couple survive the danger? Go get the book and find out.
💜A Quickie-Enemies to Lovers- Insta Love-Ahh Shucks Romance💜 Molly and Daniel love to hate each other but not really. It’s instant, hot off the charts, make you sizzle, chemistry. She’s a dog loving sassy pants girl and he’s a large and in charge big bear softie and together they are adorable. This is a sweetheart of a book.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Fencing Her In was a fantastic enemies to lovers story! Loved feisty Molly and the alpha Daniel, these two are so suited together! And those adorable pooches!
I really enjoyed this quirky insta love double virgin romance. It was sweet and plenty of laughs. I will definitely look for more stories from this author.
Molly lives on a Texas Ranch with lots of dogs when she meets her new neighbor Daniel who wants to build a gold course where her home is. They didn't like each other much and Daniel isn't a dog person at all. The funny thing is he doesn't know the dogs like him very much up to the point to saving his life.
I got this ebook for free and this is an honest review without spoilers.
I am very confused about this book. She is wearing a collar and holding a dog on the cover, but this book is not about pet play at all? Not even a little? I hope this author does a more careful job of cover art in the future.
Abby Knox brings her readers another charming, sexy story about a Texas dog-rescuer and her new neighbor who hopes to develop real estate. Short and sweet.
It's a cute story. I wouldn't exactly say it's an enemies to lovers romance like the author was advertising it as.
Molly is determined to see her life dream of opening a pet sanctuary come to life. With the land she inherits from her grandmother she knows she's closer to seeing that come to fruition. Daniel has built his career as a house flipper up from the ground. He is determined to make something of himself and won't let anyone stand in his way of his newest project. Not even his wacky and sometimes quirky next door neighbor stop him...even if he can't get her off his mind.
I wouldn't say this is a favorite of mine. While the story itself was short it seemed to take me a while to get into it.
Oh my god, a smut novella without being offensive.
In actuality the story is more 3 stars but: - the abundance of dogs - the M is actually really sweet and did not have a bullshit reason for being a virgin - the F also had a good reason for being a virgin. I am okay with virgin trope as long as they are not fucking stupid - M did not push for sex ASAP like in every god damn Alexa Riley book - plausible explanation as to why M is miraculously good with sex first time around - the fights are cute - the settings of her homely house and baking was icing on the cake, pun 100% intended - M is not some freakish super human that doesn’t hurt when things get tough - condom, halle-fucking-lujah - did I mention the abundance of dogs?

Molly doesn't have a plan, she just wants to take care of dogs and live her own way. Then an uptight guy in a polo shirt shows up to flip the house behind hers. He doesn't like dogs and he doesn't seem to like her. But if that was true, he wouldn't keep showing up and then there are the kisses... What is Daniel to do with this cute, quirky dog lover whose dogs keep waking him up. He hadn't had time to have a personal life up until now. He should be focused on his career but all he can see is Molly. Can he show her that she is the one for him, get her to take a chance on love?
This was an absolutely adorable, fun, safe read! Molly is the queen of quirky, living in her MeMaw's house with a percolator and rotary phone. She doesn't want to like Daniel when he shows up in her driveway. He obviously doesn't care for dogs and he plans to turn the whole area into a subdivision. But his behavior doesn't match his words and she can't help but like him. Daniel can't help himself when it comes to Molly. She is special and unique and he soon can't imagine his life without her. Loved it!
Abby Knox's story 'Fencing Her In' is a cute and neighborly enemies to lovers in an instant kind of fashion story with the addition of lots of dogs! Molly and Daniel live on opposite sides of a fence, Molly coming into her own on her grandmother's land and trying to find herself and Daniel wanting to do up the neighborhood as part of his grand suburban plan. From the very first interaction they have, however, they can't help but like one another just a little, and the antics and conversation and humor kept me smiling from beginning to end, even when my heart got caught in my throat at certain moments! This story was too cute and a lovely pick me up! Molly and Daniel are both seeking a new lease on life and finding that perhaps this is something they could do together! A menagerie of dogs compliment the story, their love and affection infectious with their human counterparts. The drama is tense, but the outcome well worth it! And the ending made me giggle and smile! So, what are you waiting for? Check out this latest awesome book by the fantastic Abby Knox!
This book is for religious folk who are *gasp* discovering sex for the first time and it's *oh so naughty*. This isn't for adults who know/like sex and how sex actually is.
At first, the book was ok. I didn't love the characters but didn't hate them. They were just meh, but as time went on, it got worse and worse and so cringe-y. I only made it through about the halfway point because it's so short.
And lets not get started on the cliches. Love within? It's not clear but reads as less than a week. Married and pregnant at 3 months.
Don't even get me started on a man who is a virgin having pussy eating skills.
Finally, I went into this book thinking it was a BDSM. It is NOT and that cover is NOT fitting for this book, at all.
I'm surprised to see such high praise. It wasn't for me.
It’s a wonderful story about two people who are fated to be together. Molly and Daniel are perfect for each other. Molly is a dog lover and a wonderful person who really care for them. Daniel might have reasons not to like dogs but the dogs like him.
It’s a funny, sweet and wonderful story to read. It has just the right amount of angsts, some surprising bit and once you start reading you will not be able to put it down. A highly recommended story from Abby Knox.
I absolutely loved this quick read. The chemistry between Daniel and Molly is sexy and sweet. The dogs are the supporting cast in this book and the author does a great job creating their personalities and giving us great descriptions of the rag tag bunch of dogs. I want to visit this dog sanctuary and pet some puppies and have some sweet tea and peach cobbler with Molly and Daniel. Grab this book, you will not regret it!
This was such a cute story, with some lovin’ and some hot moments. Molly, who just cracked me up throughout this book, runs a dog daycare & sanctuary from her home/land. Her new neighbor, Daniel, a major hottie, says he’s gonna be buying up the land and pushes her buttons. She in turn pushes his too. It’s quite entertaining. Eventually, those pushes turn from being annoying to do much more. Very much liked this!!
This book was sooo sweet and cute and I really enjoyed reading it! Molly and Daniel’s story was so much fun to read with lots of funny one liners, some really hot sexy times and of course all of the dogs. Abby Knox is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors and I cannot wait to see what she comes out with next! I received this book as an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.
A quick enemies to lovers next door neighbors read with some comedy added into it. Molly owns a doggie rescue and daycare Daniel is her new neighbor who can’t stand all the noise the dogs make he thought their would be peace and quiet. He is also a house flipper and a developer . They don’t get along and can’t fight their attraction . And plus Daniel claims to hate dogs which is also a big no no. This story has comedy a enemy to lovers romance with also a little bit of suspense.
I loved how Daniel and Molly fall in love. I think it’s perfect. I really liked the way they were able to look past first impressions. The fact that he thinks she’s a crazy dog lady at first is hilarious.
I had fun reading this and was left with a smile on my face at the end. Will definitely be doing a reread soon!!
Loved Molly, love her passion for dogs especially. And damn that Daniel, of course he has to be a hottie that doesn't admit to being a dog lover. But holy these two have amazing passion, and dog loving can come later
This is definitely one of those cute, sweet romances. Heroine is a sassy “do for herself” kind of gal who rescues dogs - I mean that’s heroine gold! Hero is a grumpy loner who doesn’t like animals. Great setup and cute moments made this one enjoyable.
Abby did a job pairing hot Daniel who forgets his past and with Molly who brings the old southern memories back because she wants to keep her favorite memories forever. This is a double virgin book that of course has a HEA
