We teach a unit on the paranormal and cryptids and this book looked like a good fit in this unit.

It's divided into two sections. The first section fits better with our curriculum; the second section is devoted to animals which doesn't quite fit.

The book is a good overview of the most popular stories of the paranormal. None of the chapters are very long. There were a few I hadn't read before.

It's okay but not as enthralling as I'd hoped.
