ARC provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this one more than the others I’ve read from this author so far. No insta-love but insta-attraction which is realistic. I loved how they built their love step after step, it felt organic. I still can’t believe the hero’s name is Gaston and his mother called his adorable dog LeFou it was hilarious

Bonus point: I love this cover so much!!!!

This story was really sweet.
It wasn't as insta as other books by the author but when the couple meet they feel an instant connection but it is taken at a more realistic pace.
There is some obvious other woman drama brewing but nothing too drastic between her and the Hero.
There are no intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
No cheating.
Family issues for the heroine.
HEA.
Epilogue.
Secondary characters introduced for possible future storylines.

ARC.

5 Star Read!

The story of Gaston and Chrissie is pure perfection! You get all the feels while reading this book. I laughed. I cried. I yelled. It all eventually comes together in the most perfect way.

Gaston knows the minute he meets Chrissie, she is something special. Chrissie has a hard time determining what Gaston’s true intentions are. She does not want to be just another girl to him. Plus, she has some things from her past that stall her in making a decision to move forward.

When she finally

‘Baiting him’ is the second book in the ‘How to catch an alpha’ series. After reading and loving the first story ‘Catching him’, I was really looking to this second book. And I’m very happy to say that I enjoyed this story just as much as the first one. (For the readers new to this series, you don’t have to read the first book to read this one. It can be read as a standalone.)

Loved Gaston and Chrissie and their romance. He wasn't taking no for an answer, and she didn't fight to hard. Just a great book, and I love his name and his dog's name. Gaston is no villain, but the perfect man (and maybe an alien).

Dear editor (or maybe I should address this to Ms. Reynolds)...make sure someone has read the first book to catch continuation issues in book two. At the end of book one her BFF has a little girl and is pregnant with a second girl. In this book

Aurora has done it again. Easiest five stars I think I’ve given to one of her books besides Until December. If you know me well, then you know I can never get enough of how ARR writes such easy romance. I love that there is hardly any angst. LOVE IT!

Chrissie and Gaston falling in love was so simple and flowed so well. It was easy and had so many moments that made me smile and swoon. For me, it doesn’t really any get better than that. Throw in a dog named LeFou and I’m obsessed.

Baiting Him is super cute. We met Cassie in the first book of the series. She's a very sweet heroine with a bit of an emotional side to her. She's always there for everyone around her, and she protects the ones she loves even when she is hurting.

Gaston (love that name) is actually a toned down alpha from what I am used to seeing from this author. I mean, he's still alpha and protective but he wasn't as "caveman" as ARR's usual heroes. He came off more gentlemanly. He treated Cassie like a man

This is the second book in this series and I think this is the end. We met Chrissie in the first book since she was Leahs friend. During Leah's bachelor party we meet Gaston who is the owner of the bar that the ladies are partying in and was instantly taken with Chrissie. I liked her better in the first book, not that I hated her but that whole woe is me, bugs the hell out of me. Since Chrissie seems to have picked duds before she doesn't even want to give Gaston a chance, he was just to hot for ...more

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley for a honest review.

Baiting Him by Aurora Rose Reynolds was so much fun. I loved these two together. Chrissie and Gaston ( I loved that name) were so great together, I just was so happy with how this story evolved. These two met in one of Gaston's club while Chrissie was there for her best friends stagette party. I like how Chrissie flirted with Gaston but did not go home with him that night. I love it when the heroine of the story make the hero work

After discovering Aurora Rose Reynolds earlier this year, I have instantly fallen in love with the stories she creates and ‘Baiting Him’ is no exception. Sweet and swoon worthy with a couple who has insta chemistry, I was fanning myself on the airplane cause the steam scenes are so damn steamy! I loved how easy it was to get wrapped up in this couple. This whole series is fantastic and mixes a whole lotta love with a little drama to give it the perfect touch.

Gus often wonders if he hears his woman right at times, "he blinks, leaning back out of my space and allowing me to finally breathe normally. “Did you just ask if I want a cookie?” The man knows his woman well, “I’m not creating problems.” I don’t even bother responding to her statement, since I know it will only encourage her to fight her corner. “I’m not creating problems.” She huffs, crossing her arms over her chest, and this time, I do actually laugh. “This isn’t funny.” I liked this book, I ...more

Chrissie & Gaston got me, hook, line & sinker! *grin* This story is all the things I love about this author - insta-love but still a chase, steam, swoony goodness, humor, friendships, family... EVERYTHING! Oh, and an adorable pupper named LaFou... YEP!

I love the relationships & characters & the feeling of HAPPY I had at the end of the story. : )

I've read the majority of this author's other books and I've loved them all, so I always look forward to a new release from her! I've also absolutely loved the first book in this series, so I was really excited for this book to release! I then saw it on Netgalley and was able to read it without requesting it, so I started reading it as soon as I could! After reading, I can say that I loved it just as much as the first book! Another winner by ARR, I couldn’t put this one down!!

I’ve been waiting for Chrissie’s book since I met her in book one... she and Gaston aka Gus definitely lived up to my expectations!

Not only is Gus hot (I mean Gaston..hellooo haha) and he’s sweet and hot (it’s worth saying twice lol).

The way they met had me full on laughing I thought it was hysterical. I won’t give too much away just know you’ll laugh during their first meeting and interaction.. as well as be awed by Gaston!

Baiting Him is a fun, low-stakes romp that’s easy to finish in one sitting. Chrissie doesn’t have time anything besides work. Her bakery, The Sweet Spot, is getting more and more successful by the minute. So when she meets bar owner, Gaston, on one of the few nights she actually goes out, she’s skeptical of his attention. But Gaston is persistent, and it becomes clear that they might have what it takes to go the distance.

This is my first time reading a novel by Aurora Rose Reynolds, and I

I really enjoyed this book. I felt like it had a little bit of everything.

I loved the playful banter between Gaston and Chrissie. I love the flirting they do. I especially like their first meeting at the club both in the bathroom and then at the bar. Got to love a woman who has the balls to tell an extremely hot guy to take a walk.

I also liked that this book dealt with real word issues. Some of them were small and some of them were big. The part abut Chrissie and her dad and the heartbreak

I keep repeating myself in these reviews, but I've got to say it again... I loveeee Aurora's books!!! I've been a fan of all her series so far, have read every book of hers and I love them all.
This is the second book of this series and I loved it! So much better than the first, which was good too, but I just LOVED Gus and Chrissie so much! Another fantastic story from one of my favorite authors!! Baiting Him is book 2 in the How to Catch an Alpha series and it was just as good as the first. What I really love about all the books by this author is the the insta-love between the two characters. After reading some heavier books, it is really comforting to read a low angst and fun read. Gaston and Chrissie’s story was this and so much more! I absolutely loved their first encounter, the banter and chemistry was fantastic. The reaction ...more

This is a solid read, though a little boring. Let me explain. The H and h are genuinely nice people. He’s a bar own (3 times over) who’s eye candy. She beautiful, and over men. Their meet-cute happens during her friend’s bachelorette party. I wouldn’t say he was expressing interest, and she wasn’t given him the time of day so a kinda blah introduction. His interest is peaked and it turns out they are both very decent humans. Honestly, they’re almost too perfect. There is one vengeful actor in ...more

Nothing like a feel good romance to warm the soul on a cold winter night! Chrissie and Gus’s story will definitely warm you up with their attraction and you won’t come down not even when the final word is read! I found myself smiling, laughing and swooning in every chapter!

Chrissie is such an amazing character! She is independent and has a heart of gold! She is witty and omg the perfect mix of sassy and sweet! I love how Gus softens her and just how perfectly they compliment one another! He’s

There have been very few things ARR has written that I didn't like. And, although her books can be a tad predictableat times, they each feel very genuine and always leave me with a mad swoon hangover. I loved Gaston and Chrissie together and especially loved how organic their relationship felt.

With all the swoon but a little less of the alpha, Baiting Him was a delightful read. I'm looking forward to the series continuing.

The best thing about a good book is when you get lost in it. While reading it, you are so immersed in it, time ceases to have all meaning, and you have a happy smile on your face the whole time. Then, all of sudden it is done, and you feel like you just finished hanging out with your best friends. Chrissie and Gaston were this for me. So sexy, sweet, funny, a little bit of trouble, a little bit of problems, but just a wonderful story of a boy meeting a girl, in the men’s washroom, and them ...more

Baiting Him by Aurora Rose Reynolds a five-star read that will catch your heart. This is number two in the How to Catch an Alpha series and they are sublime, they could easily be read as stand-alone, as each focus on a different couple. Oh, Gaston and LeFou you both won a place in my heart. This story is filled with fun and laughter as well as romance and passion, this has it all steam, but a story to captivate and compel you. Chrissy is a character that will give you more that a sweet tooth, ...more

I am I awe of this author!! This book is absolutely amazing!! The characters are so well developed and written. The entire book brought me to tears. I laughed, fell in love, wanted to scream at Chrissie's father, wanted to punch the bar manager. Gaston's mother is an amazing woman as is Chrissie's. Both show such strength. This is by far my most favorite book from this author, and that is such a hard choice!!!! I definitely recommend this book!! Did I mention hilarious and so scorching hot?? ...more

This is a Netgalley ARC review. All opinions are solely mine.

Aurora Rose Reynolds writes a hot and sweet, laugh out loud romance that takes on several pieces of Beauty and the Beast. Chrissie and Gaston are amazing from the start. The entire book made me think of the happiness that comes from a bakery.

I'm still not sure how the title tied into the actual book. But, honestly. I didn't care. The book works in it's entirety.

This is book two of the How to Catch an Alpha series. I can't wait to
