I enjoyed the first two books in the series, and the very end of this one sets up an interesting new status quo, but I found the bulk of this book very hard going. The heroes get separated into four storylines that, though all related to thwarting the same bad guy, don't really intersect very much. That made for very stop start reading as the author switches between these groups at least every chapter, and sometimes within a chapter.
