A Weekend with Her Fake Fiancé combines my favorite troupe of friends-to-lovers with fake engagement. The result is an up all night page-turner.

Carmen Sanchez is a nurse-midwife of Argentinian and Trinidadian descent. Growing up poor in Trinidad, Carmen has made it her mission to take care of her mother and younger sister. The three now live in a small house Carmen purchased in Anchorage, Alaska. Carmen's mother is in the early stages of dementia and sometimes forgets where she is.

I loved being back at Mercy Hospital Anchorage Alaska this time we have midwife Carmen and paramedic Zac finding love and happiness after spending a weekend together as a couple, there are a few bumps to get over first, I do hope you will enjoy this one as much as I did.

Carmen Sanchez has put family and work first always and there are reasons for that and now she has applied for a job in California and she needs a fiancé, she asks her friend Zac to help her out on the condition that it will be

This was an interesting read with a strong female lead. She’s working hard to care for her mother, who is slipping into Alzheimer’s, and she has a younger sister she intends to send to college. She decides to try for a new, more challenging position as a manager of a midwife facility in CA, leaving her home in Alaska and taking her mother and sister with her.
She’s competing for the position with a coworker who happened to mention that she was engaged, which went over well with the two women

A Weekend with Her Fake Fiance gave me all the feels! ALL. OF. THEM.
Fake relationship trope, YES please!

I have come to love the Medical Romance books by this author and this one was so fantastic!
We meet Carmen and Zac who both have a tad bit of baggage, Okay, alot of baggage. They both have daddy issues, but not in that way, LOL. They had both been betrayed by their fathers in different unique ways and this was a common ground for them.

Could what start out as a one night stand at a holiday

When trying to secure a job as a midwife, Carmen Sanchez told a little lie that she had a fiancé. She is forced to ask paramedic Zac Taylor to become her pretend fiancé for a weekend job interview conference. But there is a slight problem they once spent the night together and their attraction o\is still plausible as they try to remain just friends.

For Zac the conference means he might run into in years after his dad whom cheated on his mom as the conference is being held

I love these books from this author and it truly makes it better that these couples are more than an insta-romance. One night was all it took but they couldn't move past that with all the mess in their heads. The battle they each fight on a personal level adds shades of - DO NOT ENTER - to their hearts and holds them captive. It's a great story of forgiveness and living in the moment. These two who have spent their lives putting everyone else first finally have a say in who and how they love. ...more

Carmen and Zac aren’t looking for love but when Carmen needs a fake fiancé, things begin to feel very real. Can they overcome their pasts and move forward together? Fast-paced read with great characters, lots of drama and emotion and plenty of steam. A good read.

Carmen needed Zac to help her in her quest to be chosen for a super new job she needed. He reluctantly agreed to act as her fake fiancé. How the job situation developed and how their relationship grew made this an interesting and enjoyable story.
