"Why can’t I be one of those people who things come easily to? Because those people are usually assholes."

This started off really slow but it ended up being really enjoyable.

MOST LIKELY was an empowering, enjoyable story following four best friends in their senior year of high school. They all have their own personalities and difficulties, but the commonality is their friendship. The representation throughout the book is diverse, with so many different types of people represented. Each of our main characters is dealing with relationships, family stressors, college and career choices,

Four friends- Ava, CJ, Jordan and Martha- who have been tight since kindergarten are entering their senior year and beginning to face the realization that they will all be going in different directions within the year. The opening chapter establishes that one will become President of the United States, but we don’t know which. Is it Ava, an artist who is struggling with her future choices; CJ, an earnest do-gooder; Jordan, a budding ace journalist; or Martha, a strong young woman who is facing ...more

It feels lazy to compare a group of four female friends to SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS, but Sarah Watson's MOST LIKELY is worthy of that comparison. The story begins with the

I was really excited for this book. I am a big fan of the show The Bold Type. It's one of those things that promised to be a little cheesy and filled with female friendship while they all navigate impossibly chic lives... except it ended up being so much more than that. This books is by the creator of the show. It's about four girls, best friends, at the end of high school. One of them will be President of the United States. But good luck figuring out who. It's genuinely hard to guess. This is ...more

I did have problems keeping the characters straight as I felt it was a lot of back and forth but overall the book was really well done
