This was a very good biography on the singer Ed Sheeran. It was interesting to learn more about his background, how he got into songwriting and just reading that section about releasing the song 'The A Team' bought back personal memories for me. Lots of new facts and perfect for any fans of Ed Sheeran!

I do enjoy reading biographies so when I saw this book about Ed Sheeran I was keen to read it. I enjoy listening to his music but knew very little of his life otherwise.
Biographer Sean Smith covers many celebrities in his other books so perhaps understandably I found this book less personal and more stating facts that may be already known to more avid followers than me. He writes of Ed Sheeran's early life when he suffered with a stammer, his family background and the massive support he receive

This was written so well. Loved the honesty. Rather refreshing and very interesting

Being an Ed Sheeran fan, I was VERY excited about reading this book. The book is well written and I enjoyed reading it. However, one of the main things that I did not enjoy was the amount of background information provided about other artists that Ed crossed paths with. Others may well find this information interesting, but for me, I simply didn't care enough. The ending of the book (that covers the last few years) seems a little bit rushed to me but this really was an enjoyable read.
