An inspiring guide offers encouraging words for growing herbs, fragrant plants, cut flowers, bulbs, and ground covers and includes ways to overcome some of the more challenging feats, such as planting on a hillside or under a tree.
This is a great book for beginning gardeners. It covers all of the basic gardening objectives and tasks in a concise way. It will be easy to refer back to when I'm making new plans.
The book is not big on garden design as so many other are. It is very practical on the basics of how-to. It would make a great house warming gift.
