Rate this book
Things are changing, and Gogo’s quest is just beginning.

Contending with the unwanted attentions of another monarch, and their insane desires, Gogo and her men race to complete the quest before things escalate with the Sluagh Chancellors. With Faerie changing so quickly and the mystery of her father’s murder still a pall over her house, she’s both excited to find her mystery man and worried for her mother.

With three items she must find, stashed around the world, new experiences are on the horizon, ones that will help to shape her into the woman she wants to be. And as the light at the end of the tunnel becomes brighter, so does the danger they are walking into.

In this second installment of The Dank Courts events are picking up speed and intensity. As things are changing in Faerie so too are they changing in Gobeth’s world. She is putting her heart on the line and I can’t wait to see where this leads us. The bad thing about a serial is the cliffhanger ending. I need the next book ASAP. This is so exciting.

Frustratingly delicious reading

I've been dying to get answers in this second book. And I did. But I still got more questions. The lands are more alive than ever and it's amazing to see all the changes the emerging magic is bringing. Gogo is starting to show more of who she is inside as well even if it's small doses. The men are incredible and bring her different qualities she needs, as all guard do, but you see the genuine bond of it all. Bihar especially has so much going on and it's incredible to see how he works sometimes. I dont even know where to begin on the different aspects I loved in this book. We see some amazing minor character situations that made me screech in delight. But you have to read the first series, The Sleeping Court, to understand who those minor characters are and their relevance more. The world was intricate before and it's even more complex now. I cant wait to see more of the quest and adventures Gogo has ahead of her. I cant wait to see more of what this world is turning into.

Face it. I just need more.

So let me tell you a story about what these authors do to you. They rev you up, get you all excited and then LEAVE US HANGING at the end. I'm not worried about it, since I know they are almost done with book 3, but still. This story has so much insider background on the places clues take GoGo and her guard, it has newness in the new princesses of fae, it has relationships blossoming (among other things) and the king is coming. I'm going to keep that a small case "k" because until he accepts GoGo he's just small to me. The intricateness of this story surpasses a bunch of the others, but GoGo deserved this type of book. She's a power in of herself, and she's helping a very quiet part of fairy to open to her, so it's going to take this powerhouse of a woman to make it happen. I'm trying so hard not to give anything away (other than the cliffhanger... and it's a doozy), but its soooooo good. I want you to know this series, this story, these princesses and their guards. Take that leap and dive into the series as soon as you can.

This series just keeps on dragging me in further and further into the Dank Court. There is lots going on to keep me interested. Gogo is on a quest to find the tentacled dream lover, and he’s only able to give her a series of clues to enable her to find him. Whilst this is going on, she is dealing with her design career and other antics going on in her friends’ courts. She is also having problems with the Sluagh Court trying to marry her off to the Goblin King, who they think will keep her docile. These multiple story arcs are fascinating and it kept my interest as it dove about weaving them all together with each passing chapter.

I will say this, there is a cliffhanger, so be prepared to buy Book 3 immediately on finishing Book 2! I think it’s worth it though, this is really gripping stuff.

Sweet tentacles

There's no mystery more sweet than trying to find your king. K & Stella don't disappoint in this part of Gogo's story. With sexy men at her back and one almost in her grasp, Goto maintains her poise and keeps the goblins in check. I look forward to reading more. I love how in depth this story keeps getting.

Book 2 of Gogo's story

Gogo's dreams of her king are getting stronger and when she has found all his clues, it is time to find her king! What she doesn't realize is that time is running out more quick than she thought. Faerie is blooming with power that it hasn't seen in a long time. Can she find her king in time before the goblins start war?

Loving this storyline

I'm so enjoying getting to know the other princesses, whether it's the main storyline or the snippets of the other princesses in this book. I cannot wait to see Gogo finish her quest and vanquish her enemies. I love the visuals imbued in these books.

I need more

We learn more of GoGo's quest to find her King. There are more things revealed. Learning about their fertility rites. Being left on a huge cliffy. Regardless, I need it, I need more. I love GoGo and her guard
